The sickening assassination of Charlie Kirk was a tragic event of epic proportions. Both the vile act itself and the disgusting reactions to it by certain elements of the radical Left demonstrates – if any further demonstration is needed – the truly evil nature of the neo-Marxist ideology which they espouse.
Although our primary emotional reaction to this tragedy must of course be one of grief, the massive worldwide upswelling of support for the cause which Charlie Kirk represented and was such an effective spokesman for can even so cause a very positive reaction, and thereby can be of great encouragement to all decent people. His death has clearly acted as a catalyst in the United States itself for the ascendancy of the conservative and patriotic values which he fought and argued for, and to build upon the Trumpian triumph at last year’s US Presidential Election.
But it has not only been in the United States itself where the killing of Charlie Kirk has had a dramatic galvanising effect. Although the activities of his Turning Point USA movement have been largely ignored by the mainstream media in the UK, his various video streaming endeavours and social media threads had been attracting increasing popularity throughout Britain even before his death, and indeed a Turning Point UK organisation modelled on the US equivalent had already been established (see the “Recommended Web-Site of the Month” section of the May 2024 SCN). Nowhere did this upsurge in support for all that Charlie Kirk fought and died for better manifest itself than at the massive “Unite the Kingdom” rally in London on Saturday 13th September!
The number of people who attended this rally is disputed, with estimates varying from 100,000 to over a million, but the precise figure doesn’t matter as the event was clearly massive – so massive in fact that the true figure will probably never be known! It is quite clear however that this was the largest patriotic demonstration ever to assemble in the UK, and indeed probably the biggest ever political gathering of any sort. The main speaker at this event was Tommy Robinson, the brave and uncompromising patriotic activist who has become the main béte noire of the radical Left in recent years. By all accounts he gave a brilliant motivating speech calling upon the British people to unite and to ensure the removal the current government as soon as possible, and to demand that the current alien invaders – particularly the Islamic usurpers - are repatriated as matter of urgency. Perhaps of even greater significance, however, was the appearance at the rally via video link from the United States of Elon Musk, reputedly the word’s richest man, the owner of X and the man who perhaps more than anyone else ensured Donald Trump’s overwhelming victory last year. South African by birth, Elon Musk emphasised his British ancestral roots and implored his ethnic fellow-countrymen to rise up and to reclaim their country again.
All these recent events on both sides of the Pond have shown that we are quite clearly living in a very different – and a far better – world than we were living in just a few months ago. The current zeitgeist is now clearly one where patriotism, morality and common human decency are on the ascendancy. As we’ve said before, the days ahead will inspire us!

SPRINGBOK CLUB NEWS
As Mr. Geoff Hill, who was scheduled to give the Springbok Club a further report-back about the current situation in Southern Africa during August has had to re-schedule his next trip to the UK, this planned meeting has therefore had to be postponed, probably until December.

As difficulties were encountered in finalising arrangements for this year’s planned “Raising of the Flag” ceremony in Oxfordshire, this year’s event will instead be held for the first time in central London. The details of this year’s ceremony are as follows :-
Date : Saturday 4th October 2025
Times : Assemble from 14.30 hrs, ceremony to start at 15.00 hrs
Venue : By the statue to Marshall of the R.A.F Sir Arthur “Bomber” Harris in front of St.Clement Dane’s in the Strand.
This location has been chosen because Marshall of the R.A.F Sir Arthur “Bomber” Harris lived in Rhodesia from 1910 until 1915 and always thereafter regarded himself as a Rhodesian. Furthermore he was suggested as Governor of Southern Rhodesia after the conclusion of WW2, but alas this appointment was vetoed by more liberal elements then present in the Southern Rhodesian government. Following the ceremony the Springbok Club party will adjourn to a near-by hostelry where Mrs. Susan Gordon will give a talk about Cecil John Rhodes and his connections to Rhodesia.

“For me it is just thrilling that we are discovering new species of animals - and that there are more hedgehogs for me to try and find!!
“Finally - well, maybe not, you know how this goes ... Tracy Pierce from Hedgehog Help in Prestatyn is a powerhouse. She runs a rescue, she makes a real impact in her north Wales community - organising litter picking etc - and is an all round lovely person too! Anyway - she sent me a copy of ‘Prickly Pals in Peril’ - a book written and illustrated by Joanna Greenwood.
“Aimed at kids it is a very lovely story which captures so many of the key points of the Top Tips leaflet - but from the perspective of a very eloquent hedgehog and a small girl called Nia.

MORE DISGRACEFUL SCENES AT THE VUELTA
In the September 2024 Edition of the SCN we commented upon the disgusting display of Palestinian flags (de facto Hamas flags of course) at last year’s Vuelta a España. This year however the situation was even worse, with the final stage, the individual time-trial and one other stage all having to be shortened because of increasingly violent disruptions staged by anti-Israeli radical Leftist mobs. The worst incident however happened during the team time trial when the anti-Semitic scum physically targeted the Israel Premier Tech riders (who they were harbouring a particular hatred against) forcing them to stop, an incident which could have led to physical harm both to the riders and to spectators. The Spanish authorities must be severely criticised for not ensuring the proper policing of this year’s event therefore, and not making early arrests of the ring-leaders who caused so much trouble.
The using of sport in order to advance pro-terrorist causes is not a new phenomenon however, for we remember only too well the evil antics of the likes of the unspeakable Peter Hain targeting touring South African Rugby and Cricket sides in the UK and New Zealand during the 1970s and 80s. All decent citizens in the UK and New Zealand firmly opposed these disruptions then of course, but the authorities alas refused to take the necessary steps to curtail the actions of the radical Leftist kill-joys, and so evil was allowed to flourish. With civilised-rule in South Africa now destroyed it is thus the State of Israel which now bears the brunt of the vile anti-sporting protests. It is ironic in this regard to recall that during all the anti-South African disruptions of the 1970s and 80s many prominent Jewish personalities (though by no means all) chose to side with the vile pro-terrorist disruptors. With their own ancestral State now being the target for violent demonstrations we hope that at least some of them will now realise the awful mistake which they made fifty or so years ago.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW ?
No.322: Mr. KEN LONG of Durban
Ken Long was the elder brother of Vic Long (see February 2005 SCN). He ran his own insurance company, Ken Long and Associates, before merging with a similar company in Durban to form Forrester, Long and Associates. Alas this merger proved problematic, and after a few years the two partners went their separate ways again. Ken Long was a keen horse racing man, and for a while sponsored a race at Clairwood Racecourse with the prosaic title of the “Forrester, Long and Associates Insurance Handicap”, and proudly displayed a picture of himself leading the winner back into the enclosure in his office. It would be very interesting to learn where Ken – and indeed his brother Vic – are now.

Sir,
I am sure we would not have reposted Lucy Connolly’s Tweet or message ourselves, but she has crystallised all our thoughts, so good for her. I do not know whether there is a movement to have her sentence looked at?
The punishment is appalling when compared to other events recently. Under the current situation we are doomed as a White Christian country. These wretched aliens are not asylum seekers but are here to get what they can. They are mainly criminally minded, just look at the mug shots of child molesters, drug gang leaders, thieves and money laundering sharks. They come from countries with no civilised laws or culture. They should be turned back in mid-channel.
The Liberal woofy, left are driving this attack on the population. I am happy to be called racist.

NON-STOP CAMPAIGNER
Sir,
Over many years I campaigned in London against mass immigration. Never ever necessary as the needs of industry/The City etc could have been satisfied by a work permit/sponsorship system as used in many of the countries that I worked in. The politicians of the day and those who financed and supported them knew all of this. They all knew the costs and consequences of mass immigration and were happy with their policies. They always knew that ALL services, but particularly health, all social services, education, security etc would come under ever increasing pressure and that the economy, without taking on ever more debt, could not meet those increasing needs. Just a case of "collateral damage". Whenever very serious problems are exposed by investigative journalists or whistleblowers the political class and the establishment do a cover up. The Post Office? Grenfell Tower? contaminated blood, paedophiles? political lies and incompetence? NHS failures and waiting lists? Thames Water/ALL water companies? It's a long long list! 14 Councils now across England under Section 114 bankruptcy protection. National debt? A solution to illegal immigration, the Bibby/Rwanda! Gross incompetence and politics/national priorities reduced to spin and marketing.

THAT WHICH DOES NOT DESTROY …… <;> This year marks the tenth anniversary of probably the worse problem ever faced by our movement. A meeting planned by the Swinton Circle (as the Patriotic Forum was known prior to its merger with New Britain and the 343 Group) on Friday 31st July 2015 was gate-crashed by a group of political opponents who then proceeded to disrupt and wreck the meeting. Full details about this disastrous event were reported in the August 2015, October 2015 and November 2015 SCNs, but it is very interesting to note what has happened to the individuals and organisations who were involved in the disruption since then :-
• Paul Weston (the planned guest speaker at the disastrous meeting, though who was not directly implicated in the actual disruption). He dissolved his LibertyGB party in November 2017, and seems to have been politically inactive ever since, although he did write a very interesting series of articles about the Covid-1984 paranoia for The Conservative Woman in 2023/24. • Paul Griffin (the erstwhile Swinton Circle committee member who proved to be in league with the wreckers and who resigned from the organisation following the chaotic meeting, and then induced two other committee members to do likewise). He disappeared from the scene after he arranged a meet-up with the other committee members, whereat he evidently “put the frighteners on them”, thereby persuading them to leave the organisation. Following the merger to form the Patriotic Forum he did however post a rather barbed and infantile comment on social media which was quickly rebutted. He is rumoured to have returned to his native Canada. • George Whale (Weston’s 2-i-c at LibertyGB who following the disastrous meeting made a sarcastic comment about “how successful it had been”). He seems to have been completely politically inactive since the party was dissolved, though was subsequently unfairly dismissed from a position at Falmouth University because of his previous membership of the party. • Jack Buckby (a leading member of LibertyGB who it was subsequently revealed had issued all the unauthorised invitations to the disrupted meeting). Buckby stood as the LibertyGB candidate at the 2016 Batley and Spen by-election where he only received a derisory 220 votes. After the party was dissolved he became a prominent member of the For Britain party, until that was also dissolved. In an interview with Channel 4 News in 2020 Buckby stated that he had repudiated his former extremist views and now recognised their troubling nature. • Robin Willow (the erstwhile Swinton Circle chairman who weakly allowed the disastrous meeting to continue even after fights and chair-throwing had erupted, and who cowardly resigned from the organisation upon Griffin’s inducement). He seems to have been completely politically inactive ever since, though he was seen at a pro-Brexit demonstration in London shortly afterwards standing alone and holding a crude hand-written placard. • Paul Symonds (the other Swinton Circle committee member who also proved a coward by complying with Griffin’s instructions to leave the organisation). Nothing has been seen or heard from or about him since the chaotic meeting, though there has been a rumour that he has died. • Steven Uncles (the gate-crasher from the English Democrats party who caused great anger by trying to circulate his separatist propaganda at the notorious meeting and insulting the Union Flag on display). He was convicted of seven counts of electoral fraud in 2017 and received a seven months prison sentence. • Jeremy Bedford-Turner (the gate-crasher from the rabidly anti-Semitic “London Forum” outfit who stated that he only attended the meeting in order to “see the fight”). He was convicted of stirring-up anti-Jewish racial hatred in 2018 and sentenced to a year’s imprisonment. • Gary Willison (the pub manager at the Morpeth Arms where the disastrous meeting was held who refused requests either to help remove the disruptive gate-crashers or to close down the meeting). He left the employment of Young & Co. Brewery suddenly in 2021 for reasons unknown, and now works as Operations Manager for a minor south London pub chain. • LibertyGB (the party run by Weston, who Weston was invited by the Swinton Circle to speak on behalf of). This party was dissolved in November 2017 and members were encouraged to join the For Britain party. • For Britain (the party which Weston encouraged former members of LibertyGB to join). For Britain followed LibertyGB into oblivion in 2022. • The English Democrats (the party which the gate-crashing disruptor Uncles was a member of). Although apparently still officially in existence, the English Democrats seems to have been basically inactive ever since the Covid-1984 lockdown. • The "London Forum" (the outfit which Bedford-Turner and several other gate-crashers of the notorious meeting helped wreck belonged to). Became completely defunct following Bedford-Turner’s imprisonment.
Although it would be a mistake to suggest that the chaotic meeting of 31st July 2015 didn’t have a serious disruptive effect upon the Swinton Circle, the organisation’s subsequent merger to form the Patriotic Forum gave it an opportunity to re-group and to overcome the disaster, and indeed following the Covid-1984 pandemic is now slowly but steadily increasing in size and influence once again. “That which does not destroy makes me stronger”, as Nietzsche once said!
