Following the West's glorious victory in Iraq (a conflict which, as we predicted, resulted in far fewer casualties and a far quicker outcome than the anti-war Left prophesied - indeed the "resistance" in Baghdad proved more like Warmington-on-Sea than Stalingrad!), the big question now is what should happen to the newly-liberated Iraq?
The interim allied administration headed by Gen. Jay Garner is a good first step, but all concerned seem to regard this as simply a temporary measure. Much talk has been made of Ahmad Chalabi's Iraqi National Congress coming to power, and some have also suggested the restoration of the Iraqi monarchy. Both these developments would certainly be in the interests of the West and would advance pro-Western influence in the middle east, but how stable would such administrations turn out to be? The Arab world - particularly Iraq - is notoriously subject to coups and revolutions (most of which being fundamentalist Islamic in nature), so the possibility of a second Saddam Hussein usurping power in the years ahead is a very real threat.
As a neo-Imperialist movement we would strongly advocate that Iraq reverts to a Protectorate status, which it enjoyed from 1914 to 1932 (during which period, incidentally, the RAF under the command of that great Rhodesian Arthur "Bomber" Harris destroyed the bandit gangs who had been terrorising the ordinary Iraqi people for centuries.) Of course there is little colonial tradition in the United States because of its very nature, so as the only other significant nation to contribute troops and wherewithal to the liberation of Iraq it would therefore fall upon Britain to resume the Mandate of 1919/1932.
By reverting to Protectorate status the Iraqi people would gain by having an ongoing non-corrupt civil power not be subject to overthrow by any dictator, Britain would gain by regaining a colony of considerable wealth, and the whole of the middle east - particularly Israel - would gain by increased stability in the region. In fact there would seem to be no losers except for would-be Islamic tyrants.
Alas, however, there is very little possibility of such a state of affairs coming about under the Tony Blair's government, as he possesses neither the vision nor the political daring. After all, when an even more ideal opportunity for re-colonisation presented itself in Sierra Leone during the late 1990s this chance was lost. Recent events in Iraq have however confirmed that when a leader with the necessary will does eventually emerge in Britain (and in the other great nation-states of western Europe for that matter) then the task of resuming civilising colonial responsibilities around the globe will be a relatively easy one.
Meanwhile we have learnt with great sadness of two southern Africans who had volunteered to serve with the British forces who made the supreme sacrifice during the War in Iraq. Sholto Hedenskog, 27, from Pretoria joined the Royal Marines after studying at Rhodes University where he obtained a B.Sc. degree. He was one of the eight British and four American soldiers who were killed when a US Marine Corps CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter came down during deployment operations in southern Iraq. Christopher Muzvura, 21, a Black Zimbabwean who served as a Piper in the Irish Guards, was killed by a sniper in Basra. We salute the courage and heroism of these two brave volunteers who died ensuring the freedom and security of us all.

SPRINGBOK CLUB EMPIRE DAY BUFFET
We are pleased to be able to announce that details for the Springbok Club's annual Empire Day buffet have now been finalised, and that the Guest of Honour will be Mr. Albert Poggio MBE. Mr. Poggio is the official UK Representative of the Government of Gibraltar, and will report on the current situation in Gibraltar following the overwhelming vote by the citizens of the Rock to remain British last November. A splendid array of buffet-snacks will be provided for all who attend, and we anticipate that the evening will be concluded by a display of close-up magic by the conjuror Bruce Munton.
Admission charges will be £5.00 per head for Life, Honorary and Full Members of the Springbok Club, £7.50 per head for Associate Members, and £10.00 for non-members. Although payment may be made on the night it would help to gauge numbers if all those wishing to attend could inform us in advance. SPRINGBOK CLUB BRANCH NEWS
The London Branch of the Springbok Club held a most successful meeting last month, which was addressed by Mr. Roy Painter. In a wide-ranging speech Mr. Painter explained why the War in Iraq was necessary, and then went on to remind everyone of the others dangers which still face the West, most notably "political correctness" and third world immigration. He ended on an optimistic note however, telling of his faith in the younger generation, and how with no prompting his own grandchildren were adopting his own patriotic sentiments.
We are happy to be able to announce that Mr. Bill Binding has been elected the new Chairman of the London Branch of the Springbok Club.
The Chilterns Branch of the Springbok Club will be holding an informal pub gathering at "The Bell", Frogmoor, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire (10 minutes walk from High Wycombe railway station) on Saturday 31st May. This pub has a reputation for good food and real ales, and boast a small paved patio which can be used if the weather is suitable. This will take place during the late afternoon and early evening, and although there will be no hard-and-fast start time we expect people will start arriving from about 15.00 hrs onwards. Springbok Club Organiser Robert Shipley will be attending, and will give an overview of his thoughts concerning the situation in southern Africa today.
The Kent Branch will also be holding their annual summer braai at Minster on the Isle of Sheppey on Saturday 28th June. Fuller details will be given in next month's SCN.

MALCOLM WREN'S "SOUL WALK"
Malcolm Wren, the "Engelse Boer", will be doing a 150 mile walk across southern England in July/August. He will be placing 1500 ribbons - 10 per mile - for each person, each Soul, murdered in the vicious farm attacks in South Africa. The purpose of this exercise is to draw attention to the Afrikaner Genocide currently taking place.
Since 1994 more than 1400 South African farmers have been murdered, and 50% of farmers have permanently left farming as a result of these ongoing attacks. Murder is the only motive, as in 95% of attacks nothing was stolen. Whilst it is not only the Afrikaner farmers who are being murdered, but also other Ethnic-Europeans as well as tribal Black farmers, Afrikaners make up over 90% of those murdered. The actual number per capita is still increasing, and now stands at 311 per 100,000. There is strong evidence to show that these attacks are politically motivated.
The world however remains oddly silent. Maybe we are partly to blame for not showing the world what is happening? With his "Soul Walk" Malcolm hopes to alter this silence - by raising awareness.
The "Soul Walk" will start on Sunday 27th July at Avonmouth, Bristol, and Malcolm will walk approximately 13 miles each day for 12 days, ending at Gravesend, Kent on 7th August, i.e. from the Severn to the Thames - from the west to the east of England.
If there is anyone willing to accompany Malcolm along the route (either partly or in full) this would be greatly appreciated.

Next year (2004) will witness the 60th Anniversary of the invasion of Normandy and planning is now underway to put on Anniversary Celebrations and Memorial Services by City
Authorities and French WWII Veteran Associations. The Veterans Association (ANSA - Assoc. Normande du Souvenir Aerian) are heavily involved and one of their main tributes will be dedicated to the approximate 200 Typhoon Pilots killed during the Normandy Campaign. This tribute will be focused on Group Captain Charles Appleton, the senior pilot of this group, who was originally understood to be Rhodesian. Research was hampered by the fact that the identify of his 'next of kin' could not be established, with the result that access to official RAF Records was denied. Charles Appleton's wife, son and daughter emigrated to Marandellas, Southern Rhodesia some time after he was killed (12 Aug 1944). The last survivor of the family was the daughter, Carol Appleton. She attended Girls High School (GHS) in Salisbury from 1946 to 1950. A GHS Old Girl has stated: "There was only one other child, Carol, with whom I was at school, but she was not a close companion of mine. I think she married a guy from the British Army, this would have been in the mid-50's, but I have not kept in touch. She would be about 70-72 by now, if still alive. I think she lived in the UK, but I don't know her married name or where she may have lived, except that at some time she and her husband probably were in an Army establishment." The GHS Old Girls Association in Harare [Salisbury] has been contacted, but without any success.
If someone could help locating Carol Appleton and/or any children, this would put "the icing on the cake" for ANSA. They would receive a special invitation to attend the services and celebrations as honoured guests, all arrangements will be undertaken by ANSA, and royal treatment will be guaranteed. Perhaps there is someone out there somewhere, maybe a GHS Old Girl or ex-resident of Marandellas, who knew Carol Appleton and who would know what happened to her after leaving school - and more importantly, her married name.

ENOCH WAS RIGHT
Sir,
Many people here have mentioned the words of Enoch Powell and realise that we now have that "enemy within", as do all White countries. The atrocities in the USA would not have occurred if the enemy had not been invited to live there. A typical example of the stupidity of politicians is the Moslem soldier with the US forces in Iraq (was he a conscript?) who threw a grenade killing at least one US soldier.
Here on the Gold Coast we already have a mosque and a few days ago the cleric was spewing his hate against the coalition forces. Now if I get up and mildly criticise him I would be labelled a racist by the traitors in the news media.

Sir,
Any true Muslim believer cannot commit himself to "the state". A true believer is committed to God and his duty is to God as laid down in the Koran and Tawhid. Sadly but perhaps inevitably in today's PC society the truth must be suppressed. Sometimes of course commentators and politicians are ignorant of the facts. The implications are frightening and perhaps the birds are coming home to roost. It is impossible for a true believer to integrate into any western/liberal society. The values and practices
commonplace in, for example, the UK and USA are anathema to Islam and the work of Satan. To suggest that Jesus Christ was the son of God is blasphemy as is to suggest that man was created in God's image. It is forbidden for a Muslim woman to marry a non-Muslim and remain within the faith (she will lose her family) or for a Muslim man to marry a non-Muslim unless she converts to Islam. There are many other factors that prevent integration and assimilation. Of course Islam like all/most religions is losing its appeal and many young Muslims in Western societies embrace capitalism, however the underlying issues and conflicts of loyalties will not go away. How many Muslims serve in the USA/UK armed forces or Police forces? What would they do if they did serve and were required to fight against fellow Muslims? Very late in the day our security services have woken from their slumbers and realised the dangers.

ROGUES GALLERY
We recently received an e-mail from someone named Tim Vaux which simply asked for more details about our organisation in the title, but no text whatsoever.
Tim Vaux is however a name well known to us. His father, Martin Vaux, owned the Black Cock [sic] Inn at Molland in north Devon where the notorious White Rhino Club meeting of June 1993 which was sabotaged by the wretched Mark Cotterill (see January SCN) was staged. Indeed it was Cotterill, evidently a personal friend of Vaux jnr., who recommended this establishment to us, assuring us that the proprietors shared our own patriotic and pro-Rhodesian sentiments. This did not turn out to be the case however. Vaux snr. turned out to be a fully paid-up member of the Liberal Democrat Party, whereas conversely Vaux jnr. was a member of the neo-fascist BNP! Both however openly voiced opposition to the then recent first Gulf War - unpatriotic sentiments which certainly didn't go down too well with the WRC supporters present!
Vaux jnr. subsequently wrote to us on several occasions using the pseudonym of Edward First. This surname, of course, was the maiden name of the communist-terrorist Joe Slovo's wife, Ruth First - which perhaps says a lot about where Vaux's true sympathies lie!
We have also recently been informed that the wretched Cotterill himself, who has returned to the UK after being refused permission to remain in the US (apparently because of his overt neo-Nazi activities), has been trying to re-contact old acquaintances. Needless to say both the Vaux's and Cotterill should be avoided like the plague!

The tyrant Saddam Hussein is no more, and his evil Ba'athist regime has been destroyed. This is reason to rejoice not only for the people of Iraq who have suffered so long under his despotic rule, but also for all of us in the West who Saddam Hussein threatened with his weapons of mass destruction, and the international Islamic terrorism which he sponsored.
Not all residents in the West are rejoicing of course. The Muslim interlopers in our midst have suffered a severe and hopefully fatal blow to their aims of undermining Western nations by subterfuge and sheer weight of numbers. Likewise the Marxist Left have seen a potential ally in their struggle to destroy our Western way of life eliminated. These two groups were of course the unlikely bed-fellows who staged the despicable pro-Saddam Hussein demonstrations in London and other Western cities on February 15th - a hideous spectre which we hope never to witness again.
Unbelievably, however, we have recently learnt of another sinister element which has opposed the just and necessary military action taken by the West to destroy the evil tyranny of Saddam Hussein. Incredible though it might seem, there is evidently a sickly clique of so-called "Right-wingers" who have openly sided with the forces of Islamic terrorism against their own kith and kin. To be sure, some of these self-proclaimed "Right-wingers" subsequently stated that they supported their troops once the the War in Iraq had actually been declared - but these are mere weasel words, as the West's War against Terrorism had actually been in existence since September 11th 2001 when Islamic fanatics (undoubtedly in collusion with the Iraqi Ba'athist regime) hijacked and crashed aircraft into the World Trades Centre and the Pentagon. Some of us, indeed, would argue that this conflict between the West and Islamic expansionism had actually begun far, far earlier.
It would be natural to expect, of course, that members of the political "Right" in the West would be the most "gung ho" in favour of military action to destroy the centres of Islamic power. They, after all, are always the first to moan about the (often wildly exaggerated) numbers of Muslim immigrants in the West. So why has this (admittedly small) clique adopted such an dumbfounding attitude towards the conflict, which is the exact antithesis of what would be expected of them? To term them hypocrites would seem to be the understatement of the century! The reason is probably far more sinister than this however, for the only conclusion that can be reached is that this small clique is comprised of total phoneys. We know from our South African experiences how the NP government set-up a number of phoney organisations and individuals in order to divide and discredit authentic patriotic opposition to their sell-out policies (the AWB outfit and the late and unlamented Brendan Willmer being the most obvious examples of this), and so is it not likely that Leftist forces in Western establishments have also set-up disruptive elements within the midsts of their opponents? We know for certain that at least one member of this sickly clique has a history of causing trouble within authentic patriotic movements in the UK.
By their own words these phoneys have revealed themselves as the traitors which they are. We have no intention of listing their names in this periodical, but we know who they are, and they will face nothing but contempt and ostracism from now onwards.

SPRINGBOK CLUB MARCH EVENTS
The Springbok Club staged a visit to the Royal Engineers Museum in Gillingham at the end of March, for what proved to be a truly fascinating experience. During the visit those present were able to view, inter alia, artefacts from the Zulu Wars and the silk Chinese robes worn by General "Chinese" Gordon during his secondment to the Imperial Chinese court. A trip to this museum is therefore highly recommended to everyone.
Alas the turnout for this visit was surprisingly low, but several more supporters joined for the second event of the day, which was an informal pub gathering staged by the Kent Branch in Rochester. All in all therefore a most happy and successful day.

Mr. Painter had a distinguished military career as a wireless operator in the Royal Corps of Signals, seeing active service in Korea during the Korean War. He stood as official Conservative Party candidate for the Tottenham constituency during the 1970 General Election, and has been an active member of the Enfield Southgate Conservative Constituency Association for many years. He has been a firm and steadfast supporter of the South African and Rhodesian causes, being an active member of a number of pro-South African and pro-Rhodesian organisations during the 1970s, and is now a highly respected north London businessman.

FUTURE SPRINGBOK CLUB EVENTS
The Springbok Club will be holding their annual Empire Day buffet-lunch in central London on Saturday 24th May. Fuller details will be given in next month's SCN.
The Chilterns Branch of the Springbok Club will be holding an informal pub gathering in High Wycombe on Saturday 31st May. Springbok Club Organiser, Robert Shipley, will be attending, and will give an overview of his thoughts concerning the situation in southern Africa today.
During June the Springbok Club will be holding a meeting at which supporters will give report-backs on their recent trips to South Africa. The Kent Branch will also be holding their annual summer braai on the Isle of Sheppey on Saturday 28th June.

LONDON SWINTON CIRCLE MEETINGS
The London Swinton Circle staged a well-attended meeting last month which was addressed by David Heathcoat-Amory MP. In his address Mr. Heathcoat-Amory drew attention to the great dangers being posed by the proposed European Constitution, and stated that if, as seems likely, the present Labour Government accepts these proposals, only a national referendum would provide the opportunity to escape from this further EU entanglement.

RHODESIAN MEMORIES REQUESTED

"I was born in Gwelo on the 23rd December 1976. In my life I have lived in many other countries, including the United States, but I currently live in the UK.
"In my travels I have found it hard to explain to people what it was like growing up in Rhodesia and then Zimbabwe, what the country and people were and are like. To that end I have decided to start collecting memories and thoughts on what Rhodesia was like with the aim of writing them up into a book that will be the memoirs of a people. I would be most grateful if you would take the time to write down your memories of what Rhodesia was like so that I can add to this knowledge.
"Every year we all get older and the memory of what things were like dim and it would be shame to let all these memories fade from the collective memory of mankind. I feel the time is right, given the situation in Zimbabwe today, for the world to listen to our story."

MALCOLM WREN'S "SOUL WALK"
Malcolm Wren, the "Engelse Boer", will be doing a 150 mile walk across southern England in July/August. He will be placing 1500 ribbons - 10 per mile - for each person, each Soul, murdered in the vicious farm attacks in South Africa. The purpose of this exercise is to draw attention to the Afrikaner Genocide currently taking place.
A Canadian who understands such matters has listed the Afrikaner farmer at level 5 on the endangered list, and the United Nations has declared South Africa to be the most violent country in the world which is not officially at war. They state that you are 10 times more likely to be killed in South Africa than anywhere else on earth. They specifically mentioned that this included the gang-related warfare in Russia, and the drug-related warfare in Columbia. Furthermore, the Afrikaner farmer is 4 times more at risk than any other group in South Africa. This makes them 40 times more at risk than ANYWHERE else in the world.
Since 1994 more than 1400 South African farmers have been murdered, and 50% of farmers have permanently left farming as a result of these ongoing attacks. Murder is the only motive, as in 95% of the attacks nothing was stolen. Whilst it is not only the Afrikaner farmers who are being murdered, but also other Ethnic-Europeans as well as tribal Black farmers, Afrikaners make up more than 90% of those murdered. The actual number per capita is still increasing, and now stands at 311 per 100,000. There is strong evidence to show that these attacks are politically motivated.
The world however remains oddly silent. Maybe we are partly to blame for not showing the world what is happening? With his "Soul Walk" Malcolm hopes to alter this silence - by raising awareness.
The "Soul Walk" will start on Sunday 27th July at Avonmouth, Bristol, and Malcolm will walk approximately 13 miles each day for 12 days, ending at Gravesend, Kent on 7th August, i.e. from the Severn to the Thames - from the west to the east of England.
If there is anyone willing and able to accompany Malcolm along the route this would be greatly appreciated - otherwise it will be a Soul Walk & Walking Solo.

Keith Thompson was one of the earliest subscribers to S.A.Patriot, and lived at Marlow in Buckinghamshire. He served in the RAF, and helped found the "Bluemax Museum" of WWII aviation at the Booker Aerodrome in High Wycombe. I heard a sad story today about a South African lady who very recently visited her family in Canada.
When she returned home to South Africa she decided not to emigrate, but to contribute in South Africa. Soon after she got home she was abducted, gang raped and left for dead in a squatter camp. Her "rescuer" then repeatedly raped her as well and she died three days later. Common story; too common.

The bloody media hone in and distort some events and give the wrong impression. One would think that the Australian public is on Iraq’s side in this coming war. The truth is that the protesters are in the minority even though the media says that they are in the majority. The figure appears to be around 65% support Howard’s stance. Obviously the protesters fall in to the following categories:
1) The Labour Party who evidently think that at long last they have a cause which might win them a few points and are busy behind the scenes organising the protests.
2) The Moslems who have now come out against Australia’s interests as I predicted many years ago. Familiar faces of their leaders are out in front on TV, and no doubt are in a coalition with the Labour party.
3) The usual rent-a-crowd who revel in civil disorder.
So take all the rat-bags out of the equation and we end up with a much smaller minority.

The tyrant Saddam Hussein is no more, and his evil Ba'athist regime has been destroyed. This is reason to rejoice not only for the people of Iraq who have suffered so long under his despotic rule, but also for all of us in the West who Saddam Hussein threatened with his weapons of mass destruction, and the international Islamic terrorism which he sponsored.
Not all residents in the West are rejoicing of course. The Muslim interlopers in our midst have suffered a severe and hopefully fatal blow to their aims of undermining Western nations by subterfuge and sheer weight of numbers. Likewise the Marxist Left have seen a potential ally in their struggle to destroy our Western way of life eliminated. These two groups were of course the unlikely bed-fellows who staged the despicable pro-Saddam Hussein demonstrations in London and other Western cities on February 15th - a hideous spectre which we hope never to witness again.
Unbelievably, however, we have recently learnt of another sinister element which has opposed the just and necessary military action taken by the West to destroy the evil tyranny of Saddam Hussein. Incredible though it might seem, there is evidently a sickly clique of so-called "Right-wingers" who have openly sided with the forces of Islamic terrorism against their own kith and kin. To be sure, some of these self-proclaimed "Right-wingers" subsequently stated that they supported their troops once the the War in Iraq had actually been declared - but these are mere weasel words, as the West's War against Terrorism had actually been in existence since September 11th 2001 when Islamic fanatics (undoubtedly in collusion with the Iraqi Ba'athist regime) hijacked and crashed aircraft into the World Trades Centre and the Pentagon. Some of us, indeed, would argue that this conflict between the West and Islamic expansionism had actually begun far, far earlier.
It would be natural to expect, of course, that members of the political "Right" in the West would be the most "gung ho" in favour of military action to destroy the centres of Islamic power. They, after all, are always the first to moan about the (often wildly exaggerated) numbers of Muslim immigrants in the West. So why has this (admittedly small) clique adopted such an dumbfounding attitude towards the conflict, which is the exact antithesis of what would be expected of them? To term them hypocrites would seem to be the understatement of the century! The reason is probably far more sinister than this however, for the only conclusion that can be reached is that this small clique is comprised of total phoneys. We know from our South African experiences how the NP government set-up a number of phoney organisations and individuals in order to divide and discredit authentic patriotic opposition to their sell-out policies (the AWB outfit and the late and unlamented Brendan Willmer being the most obvious examples of this), and so is it not likely that Leftist forces in Western establishments have also set-up disruptive elements within the midsts of their opponents? We know for certain that at least one member of this sickly clique has a history of causing trouble within authentic patriotic movements in the UK.
By their own words these phoneys have revealed themselves as the traitors which they are. We have no intention of listing their names in this periodical, but we know who they are, and they will face nothing but contempt and ostracism from now onwards.

SPRINGBOK CLUB MARCH EVENTS
The Springbok Club staged a visit to the Royal Engineers Museum in Gillingham at the end of March, for what proved to be a truly fascinating experience. During the visit those present were able to view, inter alia, artefacts from the Zulu Wars and the silk Chinese robes worn by General "Chinese" Gordon during his secondment to the Imperial Chinese court. A trip to this museum is therefore highly recommended to everyone.
Alas the turnout for this visit was surprisingly low, but several more supporters joined for the second event of the day, which was an informal pub gathering staged by the Kent Branch in Rochester. All in all therefore a most happy and successful day.

Mr. Painter had a distinguished military career as a wireless operator in the Royal Corps of Signals, seeing active service in Korea during the Korean War. He stood as official Conservative Party candidate for the Tottenham constituency during the 1970 General Election, and has been an active member of the Enfield Southgate Conservative Constituency Association for many years. He has been a firm and steadfast supporter of the South African and Rhodesian causes, being an active member of a number of pro-South African and pro-Rhodesian organisations during the 1970s, and is now a highly respected north London businessman.

Keith Thompson was one of the earliest subscribers to S.A.Patriot, and lived at Marlow in Buckinghamshire. He served in the RAF, and helped found the "Bluemax Museum" of WWII aviation at the Booker Aerodrome in High Wycombe. He was also a leading member of the "League of St.George" (a traditionalist English group) and was their Overseas Liaison Officer. I heard a sad story today about a South African lady who very recently visited her family in Canada.
When she returned home to South Africa she decided not to emigrate, but to contribute in South Africa. Soon after she got home she was abducted, gang raped and left for dead in a squatter camp. Her "rescuer" then repeatedly raped her as well and she died three days later. Common story; too common.

The bloody media hone in and distort some events and give the wrong impression. One would think that the Australian public is on Iraq’s side in this coming war. The truth is that the protesters are in the minority even though the media says that they are in the majority. The figure appears to be around 65% support Howard’s stance. Obviously the protesters fall in to the following categories:
1) The Labour Party who evidently think that at long last they have a cause which might win them a few points and are busy behind the scenes organising the protests.
2) The Moslems who have now come out against Australia’s interests as I predicted many years ago. Familiar faces of their leaders are out in front on TV, and no doubt are in a coalition with the Labour party.
3) The usual rent-a-crowd who revel in civil disorder.
So take all the rat-bags out of the equation and we end up with a much smaller minority.

It was Enoch Powell who warned about the threat posed by "the enemy within" during the late 1960s. Rarely has this "enemy within" been presented more clearly and vividly in all its hideous and revolting form than during the pro-Saddam Hussein demonstrations staged in London and other cities of the West on February 15th.
Make no bones about it, these demonstrations WERE in support of the Islamic tyrant and terrorist godfather Saddam Hussein rather than being "anti war" as the organisers tried to portray. If the demonstrators had been genuinely "anti war" then surely they would have supported all efforts made by the West to rid the despot Hussein of his weapons of mass destruction, which threaten us all?
On February 15th we witnessed a despicable unholy alliance between fundamentalist Muslim immigrants, the extreme Left (and we mean the EXTREME Left) and self-hating Guardian-reading liberal trendies marching through the streets of the capital city of a country which they self-evidently detest and wish to destroy. The Blair Government may be praised for taking steadfast military action to rid the world of the evil tyrant Saddam Hussein, but must equally be criticised for not taking action to stop these anti-Western demonstrations within our own midsts. The demonstrators involved - or certainly their ring-leaders - should have been rounded up and either deported or imprisoned for the traitors which they so obviously are.
It goes without saying that this publication - together with all other patriotic organisations around the West - gives its full and unqualified support to the just and necessary military action currently being taken by the true leaders of the West to remove the dangerous threat of Saddam Hussein's evil Iraqi regime. It would be totally hypocritical for us to do otherwise. We haven't forgotten September 11th, Bali and Mombasa, even if others may have.
Of course if the job had been finished in 1991 (as of course S.A.Patriot-in-Exile advocated at the time!) then there would have been no need for military action today, and a lot of innocent people who have died as a result of Hussein's vicious rule would still be alive today. It is also probable that if the West hadn't shown such weakness from 1991 onwards that September 11th and other terrorist atrocities would never have occurred.
As we also accurately predicted in earlier editions of the SCN, President George W. Bush has proved himself to be a great leader, indeed probably the greatest US President of all time. Rarely has a Western leader shown such courage and resolution, and rarely has a serving politician qualified for the accolade of statesman so early during his term in office. All of us in the West are fortunate to have such an inspirational leader during these most dangerous times.
If we have one disagreement with President Bush, however, then it is that his identification of the Axis of Evil does not go far enough. As well as Iraq, Iran and the PDRK it should also surely include Gadaffi's tyrannical regime in Libya - and also, we would argue, those countries nearest to our hearts in southern Africa, those suffering under those other unreconstructed terrorists Mugabe, Nujoma, and yes, Mbeki. Once the War Against Terrorism has been won in Iraq and the Iraqi people have been liberated then we hope that the leaders of the West will turn their attentions towards these beleagured countries of southern Africa, and to initiate regime-changes in these countries as well.

SPRINGBOK CLUB FEBRUARY MEETING
At their February meeting the Springbok Club was most honoured to welcome Mr. Gary Cartwright as guest speaker. Mr. Cartwright is the London and South-Eastern representative of the National Ex-Services Association (NESA), and gave a masterful speech to a very well-attended gathering in which he outlined the work of NESA, and emphasised the present precarious state of Britain's defences. He went on detail how Saddam Hussein's rogue regime in Iraq had obtained much of the technology which they needed to develop their weapons of mass destruction from some of the former states of the Soviet Union, and how not all of the "enemy within" could be dismissed simply as Lenin's "useful idiots".

SPRINGBOK CLUB MARCH ACTIVITY AND KENT BRANCH AGM
The Springbok Club will be staging a visit to the Royal Engineers Museum, Prince Arthur Road, Gillingham, Kent (a short bus journey or 20 minutes walk from Gillingham Railway Station) on Saturday 29th March, assembling outside the museum at 11.30 hrs. This museum contains a vast array of material illustrating the part played by the Royal Engineers in Britain's Imperial growth, including the silk Chinese robes given to General "Chinese" Gordon, and a number of artefacts connected with the Battle of Rorke's Drift. [N.B. there is a charge of £5.00 to enter the museum - concessions £2.50.] After this visit the Kent Branch of the Springbok Club will hold their AGM at the "Jolly Knight" public house in nearby Rochester High Street (10 minutes walk from Rochester Railway Station), which will commence at 14.00 hrs and which will be followed by a convivial informal gathering. All members and supporters of the Springbok Club are welcomed to attend either or both these events on March 29th.

SPRINGBOK CLUB BRANCH NEWS
Unfortunately the recent Chilterns Branch meeting of the Springbok Club was very poorly attended, which was particularly disappointing in view of the fact that a leading official of the Springbok Club made a long journey to attend and support this branch activity. On paper the Chilterns Branch has one of the largest numbers of supporters in the country, so it is a mystery therefore why this branch struggles so badly. It has been suggested that many people failed to attend this recent meeting because it fell on the same day as the England v. Pakistan World Cup match and the Wales v. England 6-nations rugby international - but those who did attend finished the evening by watching the Wales v. England match on the pub's giant video screen! If you know any supporter or potential supporter who lives in the Chilterns area please do your best to encourage them to become actively involved in the branch.
The London Branch of the Springbok Club will be holding their next gathering in April. Full details will be given in the April edition of the SCN.

OTHER RECENT SPRINGBOK CLUB NEWS
We are pleased to announce that Mr. Daniel Wilkinson has been elected to the Springbok Club Executive Committee, and takes over as Branch Development Officer.
At a recent meeting of the Executive Committee of the SC it was decided that the cost of Full Membership would remain constant at £20.00 per annum, but that the concessionary rate (always an anomaly) would be abolished, and that the cost of Associate Membership would rise to £10.00 per annum.

LONDON SWINTON CIRCLE
Mr. Peter Robinson MP (the DUP MP for East Belfast) addressed the London Swinton Circle last month, and gave an excellent and highly-informative overview of the current constitutional situation in Northern Ireland. He also predicted substantial gains for the DUP in the forthcoming Assembly elections, which could result in the abandonment of the failed Belfast Agreement.

CONCERNED ZIMBABWEANS

I am an ex-Rhodie, and having lived in Oz for ten years was drawn back to my beloved Africa. In all the years since I left, and hearing more and more heart wrenching tales, (human and animal) I have kept saying to myself, "Why doesn't someone get up and do something?" At last something is happening!
On the 1st September I met Jay Jay Sibanda who is from Harare, now living in Johannesburg, and he is rallying support. We have had a number of meetings and I am absolutely thrilled with his commitment to make a difference. Jairos Tamangani also ex-Harare is working closely with him. On 29th October they organised a peaceful, protest march in Sandton, asking motorists who wanted Mbeki to make a stand against Mugabe to HOOT! It was deafening from 6.00 to 10.00 am! Furthermore, the demonstration was covered by the local TV station - E-TV, by CNN, by radio stations 702 and Highveld, and by various papers. On 9th November they held a rally in Hillbrow, and plan a similar event in Pretoria. Within weeks, a group of - we hope 10 000 - will walk from Jo'burg to Pretoria, with a petition to hand to Mbeki, and depending on that outcome a further walk from Jo'burg to Beit Bridge will be happening in the New Year, with a message to be handed to Mugabe.
There are a few of us "Whities" who are now involved as Concerned Zimbabweans, bringing in some different skills, from marketing, logistics, etc. to organising the Section 21 company and the administration infrastructure. "HOMECOMING REVOLUTION" RUBBISH
Many readers may have received postings from an outfit calling itself the "Homecoming Revolution", who are pathetically trying to persuade South Africans who have fled to the safety of exile to return to their disintegrating country. This outfit, of course, is nothing more than a thinly-veiled front for the ANC-terrorist regime (note the ANC colour-schemes on their postings), who are apparently desperate for skilled manpower to prop-up the infrastructure of the state which they have ruined. In the propaganda which they use to "sing the praises" of the "new" South Africa they resort to at least one downright lie however. They claim that the "Computicket" on-line booking system was developed in South Africa. It wasn't. It was developed by the IPC computer department in London during the early 1970s, but as it wasn't financially viable in a complex society like the UK it was sold to a South African agency around 1972. This present writer knows this to be a fact because he worked for the IPC computer department at the time!

No.53 : Mr. ALAN MOUNTFORD of Durban.
Alan Mountford was born at Stoke-on-Trent in November 1948, the son of local club managers and licensee's. He married Pat (now Pat Perfect - who of course owns the Brown Bear pub in Aldgate East where the Springbok Club often hold their London Branch meetings) and emigrated to South Africa in the early 1970s. A keen sportsman (he played soccer for Durban Collegians) he was a charismatic wit and raconteur, who rapidly become a well-known personality in the Durban area, and was always to be seen at all the best social gatherings. After his sad and unexpected divorce from Pat he re-married, but alas this marriage apparently did not last either. Pat has now unfortunately lost contact with him, but several of his old Durban colleagues would be very keen to re-contact him.

Cricket here is in a bit of a mess.
Percy Sonn, senior cricket administrator, gets drunk at one of the fixtures (no booze allowed for us plebs in the stands, naturally), calls a woman in one of the nearby boxes a whore and swears like a trooper - and nothing happens.
Majola somebody or other (cannot remember his Christian name), and I think chairman of the South African Cricket Board, hasn't spoken to the elected players representative for months.
On the other hand Errol Stewart of the South African 'A' Side refuses to play in Zimbabwe on moral grounds, and Majola is reported as saying that Stewart must never be selected to represent South Africa again.

Many readers will remember the saga of young Mr. Arthur Kemp, the former so-called colleague and supporter who we revealed was working for the "new" South African security services - only then to discover that this fact had earlier been exposed by the "Mail & Guardian"!
Kemp's current apparent task is to adopt a "neo-Nazi" stance and then to associate himself with conservative and patriotic movements in South Africa - thus trying to smear them with neo-fascist connections. Kemp of course never displayed such neo-Nazi sentiments all the time we knew him in South Africa - and indeed was always quite prepared to write for S.A.Patriot at this time!
A colleague has recently forwarded us an interview which Kemp conducted with an on-line service called TightRope however. On the face of it Kemp's comments seem quite excellent, inter alia advocating that all Whites should leave Mugabe's terrorist-ruled Zimbabwe - but wait a minute, where does Mr. Kemp now live? Having escaped to the safety or rural Oxfordshire he has now voluntarily returned to ANC terrorist-ruled South Africa! Even more sinister, however, is the fact that upon closer inspection this TightRope service turns out to be connected to the overtly neo-Nazi "Storm Front" web-site!

It was Enoch Powell who warned about the threat posed by "the enemy within" during the late 1960s. Rarely has this "enemy within" been presented more clearly and vividly in all its hideous and revolting form than during the pro-Saddam Hussein demonstrations staged in London and other cities of the West on February 15th.
Make no bones about it, these demonstrations WERE in support of the Islamic tyrant and terrorist godfather Saddam Hussein rather than being "anti war" as the organisers tried to portray. If the demonstrators had been genuinely "anti war" then surely they would have supported all efforts made by the West to rid the despot Hussein of his weapons of mass destruction, which threaten us all?
On February 15th we witnessed a despicable unholy alliance between fundamentalist Muslim immigrants, the extreme Left (and we mean the EXTREME Left) and self-hating Guardian-reading liberal trendies marching through the streets of the capital city of a country which they self-evidently detest and wish to destroy. The Blair Government may be praised for taking steadfast military action to rid the world of the evil tyrant Saddam Hussein, but must equally be criticised for not taking action to stop these anti-Western demonstrations within our own midsts. The demonstrators involved - or certainly their ring-leaders - should have been rounded up and either deported or imprisoned for the traitors which they so obviously are.
It goes without saying that this publication - together with all other patriotic organisations around the West - gives its full and unqualified support to the just and necessary military action currently being taken by the true leaders of the West to remove the dangerous threat of Saddam Hussein's evil Iraqi regime. It would be totally hypocritical for us to do otherwise. We haven't forgotten September 11th, Bali and Mombasa, even if others may have.
Of course if the job had been finished in 1991 (as of course S.A.Patriot-in-Exile advocated at the time!) then there would have been no need for military action today, and a lot of innocent people who have died as a result of Hussein's vicious rule would still be alive today. It is also probable that if the West hadn't shown such weakness from 1991 onwards that September 11th and other terrorist atrocities would never have occurred.
As we also accurately predicted in earlier editions of the SCN, President George W. Bush has proved himself to be a great leader, indeed probably the greatest US President of all time. Rarely has a Western leader shown such courage and resolution, and rarely has a serving politician qualified for the accolade of statesman so early during his term in office. All of us in the West are fortunate to have such an inspirational leader during these most dangerous times.
If we have one disagreement with President Bush, however, then it is that his identification of the Axis of Evil does not go far enough. As well as Iraq, Iran and the PDRK it should also surely include Gadaffi's tyrannical regime in Libya - and also, we would argue, those countries nearest to our hearts in southern Africa, those suffering under those other unreconstructed terrorists Mugabe, Nujoma, and yes, Mbeki. Once the War Against Terrorism has been won in Iraq and the Iraqi people have been liberated then we hope that the leaders of the West will turn their attentions towards these beleagured countries of southern Africa, and to initiate regime-changes in these countries as well.

SPRINGBOK CLUB FEBRUARY MEETING
At their February meeting the Springbok Club was most honoured to welcome Mr. Gary Cartwright as guest speaker. Mr. Cartwright is the London and South-Eastern representative of the National Ex-Services Association (NESA), and gave a masterful speech to a very well-attended gathering in which he outlined the work of NESA, and emphasised the present precarious state of Britain's defences. He went on detail how Saddam Hussein's rogue regime in Iraq had obtained much of the technology which they needed to develop their weapons of mass destruction from some of the former states of the Soviet Union, and how not all of the "enemy within" could be dismissed simply as Lenin's "useful idiots".

SPRINGBOK CLUB MARCH ACTIVITY AND KENT BRANCH AGM
The Springbok Club will be staging a visit to the Royal Engineers Museum, Prince Arthur Road, Gillingham, Kent (a short bus journey or 20 minutes walk from Gillingham Railway Station) on Saturday 29th March, assembling outside the museum at 11.30 hrs. This museum contains a vast array of material illustrating the part played by the Royal Engineers in Britain's Imperial growth, including the silk Chinese robes given to General "Chinese" Gordon, and a number of artefacts connected with the Battle of Rorke's Drift. [N.B. there is a charge of £5.00 to enter the museum - concessions £2.50.] After this visit the Kent Branch of the Springbok Club will hold their AGM at the "Jolly Knight" public house in nearby Rochester High Street (10 minutes walk from Rochester Railway Station), which will commence at 14.00 hrs and which will be followed by a convivial informal gathering. All members and supporters of the Springbok Club are welcomed to attend either or both these events on March 29th.

SPRINGBOK CLUB BRANCH NEWS
Unfortunately the recent Chilterns Branch meeting of the Springbok Club was very poorly attended, which was particularly disappointing in view of the fact that a leading official of the Springbok Club made a long journey to attend and support this branch activity. On paper the Chilterns Branch has one of the largest numbers of supporters in the country, so it is a mystery therefore why this branch struggles so badly. It has been suggested that many people failed to attend this recent meeting because it fell on the same day as the England v. Pakistan World Cup match and the Wales v. England 6-nations rugby international - but those who did attend finished the evening by watching the Wales v. England match on the pub's giant video screen! If you know any supporter or potential supporter who lives in the Chilterns area please do your best to encourage them to become actively involved in the branch.
The London Branch of the Springbok Club will be holding their next gathering in April. Full details will be given in the April edition of the SCN.

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Daniel Wilkinson has been elected to the Springbok Club Executive Committee, and takes over as Branch Development Officer.
At a recent meeting of the Executive Committee of the SC it was decided that the cost of Full Membership would remain constant at £20.00 per annum, but that the concessionary rate (always an anomaly) would be abolished, and that the cost of Associate Membership would rise to £10.00 per annum.

LONDON SWINTON CIRCLE
Mr. Peter Robinson MP (the DUP MP for East Belfast) addressed the London Swinton Circle last month, and gave an excellent and highly-informative overview of the current constitutional situation in Northern Ireland. He also predicted substantial gains for the DUP in the forthcoming Assembly elections, which could result in the abandonment of the failed Belfast Agreement.

CONCERNED ZIMBABWEANS

I am an ex-Rhodie, and having lived in Oz for ten years was drawn back to my beloved Africa. In all the years since I left, and hearing more and more heart wrenching tales, (human and animal) I have kept saying to myself, "Why doesn't someone get up and do something?" At last something is happening!
On the 1st September I met Jay Jay Sibanda who is from Harare, now living in Johannesburg, and he is rallying support. We have had a number of meetings and I am absolutely thrilled with his commitment to make a difference. Jairos Tamangani also ex-Harare is working closely with him. On 29th October they organised a peaceful, protest march in Sandton, asking motorists who wanted Mbeki to make a stand against Mugabe to HOOT! It was deafening from 6.00 to 10.00 am! Furthermore, the demonstration was covered by the local TV station - E-TV, by CNN, by radio stations 702 and Highveld, and by various papers. On 9th November they held a rally in Hillbrow, and plan a similar event in Pretoria. Within weeks, a group of - we hope 10 000 - will walk from Jo'burg to Pretoria, with a petition to hand to Mbeki, and depending on that outcome a further walk from Jo'burg to Beit Bridge will be happening in the New Year, with a message to be handed to Mugabe.
There are a few of us "Whities" who are now involved as Concerned Zimbabweans, bringing in some different skills, from marketing, logistics, etc. to organising the Section 21 company and the administration infrastructure. A web-site will soon be available with information of what the team are up to, reactions, progress, future events, and current news from Zim.

"HOMECOMING REVOLUTION" RUBBISH
Many readers may have received postings from an outfit calling itself the "Homecoming Revolution", who are pathetically trying to persuade South Africans who have fled to the safety of exile to return to their disintegrating country. This outfit, of course, is nothing more than a thinly-veiled front for the ANC-terrorist regime (note the ANC colour-schemes on their postings), who are apparently desperate for skilled manpower to prop-up the infrastructure of the state which they have ruined. In the propaganda which they use to "sing the praises" of the "new" South Africa they resort to at least one downright lie however. They claim that the "Computicket" on-line booking system was developed in South Africa. It wasn't. It was developed by the IPC computer department in London during the early 1970s, but as it wasn't financially viable in a complex society like the UK it was sold to a South African agency around 1972. This present writer knows this to be a fact because he worked for the IPC computer department at the time!

The witch-hunt initiated against Darren Lehmann after he made some quite innocuous "ethnic" remarks in the heat of the moment following his run out by the Sri Lankans in the VB Trophy series, reflects very badly upon the Australian Cricket authorities.
What Darren Lehmann said, after all, was nothing stronger than the comments regularly made about non-Whites in offices, bars and sports clubs throughout the Western world. Perhaps the Australian Cricket authorities need to be reminded that we are no longer living in the "politically correct" 1990s, but in the 21st century.
Meanwhile this year's Cricket World Cup in Africa continues as scheduled, in spite of the tyranny and famine in Zimbabwe, and the rampant-crime and chaos in South Africa itself. Many touring supporters are going to be mugged (and perhaps even murdered) as a result of this ill-located tournament, and attendances are bound to be poor - although as in the case of the 1995 Rugby World Cup all these problems will probably be hushed-up by the tame media.
The position of Dr. Ali Bacher in this tournament has been particularly revolting. Dr. Bacher, it should be remembered, was a leading member of Pieter van der Merwe's 1965 all-White touring side to England, and subsequently went on to captain the segregated South African team during the days of civilised rule. As such he gained semi-God-like status among patriots throughout the old White Commonwealth, and he subsequently received even more plaudits from patriots and lovers of freedom by organising the "rebel" tours to South Africa during the 1980s.
Bacher, alas, subsequently proved himself to be one of the most odious "Vicars of Bray" ever, and for the past few years has been sucking-up to some of the more obnoxious ANC-terrorist leaders, such as Nelson Mandela, Ngconde Balfour, Cheryl Carolus and Albie Sachs. Even worse, Bacher has been a leading advocate of continuing to play matches in Mugabe's terror-stricken land.
Dr. Bacher is of course Jewish - or at least he claims to be Jewish. He would do well to remember, therefore, that Mugabe is a close ally of the PLO-supporting Gadaffi-regime in Libya, and that the ANC is infected with anti-Semitism from top to bottom.

The Springbok Club successful held its 2003 AGM at the end of January. At this meeting Treasurer David Williams presented the accounts for 2002, which showed that although the organisation was still slightly in debt, it did make a small but significant profit over the year. This was followed by the Organiser's report for 2002, which proved to be very encouraging, and covered the activities and developments of the movement during the year. In his talk he will tell us something about his service experience, particularly in the Imperial parts of the Mediterranean, and about the current work of NESA.

The London Branch of the Springbok Club held a most pleasant meeting during January at the Brown Bear in the East End of London. (The Brown Bear is currently owned by South African couple Peter and Pat Perfect - Pat being better known to many supporters from her Durban days as Pat Mountford). The highlight of this gathering was undoubtedly an informal talk given by John de Locksley on the history of the East End of London and the story of Jack the Ripper, Mr. de Locksley being an expert on this subject - and it subsequently transpired that the Ripper actually picked up one of the last of his tragic victims, Frances Coles, in the same Brown Bear pub!
The Chilterns Branch of the Springbok Club is pleased to announce an informal meeting at "The Bell", Frogmoor, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire (10 minutes walk from High Wycombe railway station) on Saturday 22nd February, commencing 15.00 hrs to 15.30 hrs. This pub has a reputation for good food and real ales, and boast a small paved patio which can be used if the weather is suitable.

The London Swinton Circle held a most important meeting in January, which was addressed by Mr. Albert Poggio, the official representative of the Gibraltar Government in London. Mr. Poggio can a masterful overview of the history of British rule in Gibraltar, explaining how Spanish claims on the Rock were completely groundless, and emphasising the ongoing military and strategic importance of the territory to Britain.

No.52 : Mr. MIKE GIBB of Pietermartizburg.
Mike Gibb was the son of a well-known Pietermartizburg G.P.. He studied at UNP during the mid-1980s, and was active in the Conservative Party student branch at that university. He wrote occasionally for S.A.Patriot at that time, organising a meeting of the newly-formed Patriotic Forum addressed by the touring British patriotic activist Alan Gresham at his home. He also staged a number of riotous parties - particularly New Year parties - which were greatly-famed in the locality. After graduating in the late 1980s he moved to the UK in order to enlist in the Coldstream Guards - a regiment with which he had strong family connections - but unfortunately was not successful in this attempt, though apparently he decided to stay on in the UK to work. Alas all contact with him ceased after this, but several of his former colleagues from South Africa would be very keen to hear from him again.

Sir,
Thank you for a most informative Cyber Newsletter this month. Priora Forum supports any action to move, delay or cancel any major sporting activity, i.e. the Cricket World Cup, from the Southern region of the continent of Africa. I am still amazed at how short the world's memory is. Can't anyone remember how much sport we played (or didn't play!) in the so-called "apartheid" years? Not a single South African team were welcome anywhere in the world - and then we had a stable economy, low fuel price, productive farmers, low crime-rate, low inflation, enough food for everyone, very few illegal immigrants, above average medical facilities, good roads, excellent schools and Universities, etc.
What amazes me even more is that the very same world, that condemnend White South Africans for the successes achieved in the midst of those years, is very quiet now regarding the very same issues that are still happening in South Africa, but just by Blacks this time. Just as an example: when a British tourist and his wife were attacked in their hotel in Pilgrim's Rest, no arrests were made before the announcement of a substantial financial "reward". Then the police force jumped into action. Let me ask you this: for how many of the +/- 1400 White farmers who were murdered in this country since 1994 (which you refer to in your newsletter) were any financial "rewards" offered if the killers of these farmers were brought to book? Let me tell you: None. Nothing. Nada.

ENLIGHTENING
Sir,
I'd like to comment on the letter from L.R. of Midrand (SCN, January 2003).
He gives an interesting piece of information on how potential housebreakers know when the occupants are at home, and the monitoring of their movements.
I recently learnt by experience that criminals also watch for outdoor lights that are left burning day and night, or are on at night only while the occupier is away. I have outdoor lights that come on automatically when there is movement withing their range. Because there is presently a fault in the sensor, which keeps them burning all the time, day and night, I switch them off unless I have visitors arriving or leaving after dark. Last week I switched them on one night for my daughter and her husband who had been been out to dinner and the movies while staying with us. I forgot to switch the lights off after they came home. That night, crooks tried to enter my front door by prising it open with a screwdriver - with the lights shining on them. Fortunately they did not succeed, but only damaged the woodwork. This is the first time this has happened. I assume it is because my front door is in darkness while I'm at home, and I had changed the pattern.
L.R.'s last paragraph disturbs me. He wrote: "I suppose they (Afrikaners) have natural intelligence going for them, and maybe a handful can achieve what it took a couple of million to do - turn this country around!"
The actions of these latter day resisters are reminiscent of those a century ago, whose stolid rejection of prevailing circumstances resulted in the scorched earth policy against their own people and the incarceration of their families in concentration camps. This resulted in over 26,000 deaths and a century of bitterness thereafter. The tripartite government is already using propaganda against the current 'bitter enders', which is likely to worsen.

SIGN OF THE TIMES

A few weeks ago there was a march down West Street in Durban of over 1,000 Blacks, carrying of all things an old style (i.e. a real) South African flag, chanting and carrying banners that said "Down with Mbeki" and "Empty Promises" and such like. Not a mention on the TV or radio or any newspaper, but the Durban Metro Police confirmed that the march took place. So there are things happening out there, interesting things, which the world is not hearing about.

OBITUARY
JOHN GREGG
John Gregg, who was assassinated by lesser beings last week, was a great Ulster Loyalist and Brigadier of the UDA's B Company (South-East Antrim). He was also a good friend of South Africa, who recognised and understood the similarities between the Ulster and South African struggles, and the close terrorist links between the IRA and the ANC (and who also, incidentally, recognised the dangers posed to the West by Saddam Hussein's Iraq).
John Gregg was imprisoned in Long Kesh following the attempted elimination of one of the world's most evil terrorists, Gerry Adams. Of course in any sane society such an action would have been rewarded with a medal, but during the appeasement years of the end of the 20th century this resulted in his incarceration. It was whilst he was incarcerated in Long Kesh, in 1988, that he first made contact with S.A.Patriot. He wrote as follows:-
"As a Loyalist prisoner ... I thought I should write to you to wish you and the people you represent all the very best for the future of your country.
"The Patriotic Press (publishers of S.A.Patriot) and the views represented by it have a large support among the Loyalist people, and especially among Loyalist prisoners. We both face the same enemy, namely the IRA-ANC Communists.
"The cause of the IRA and the cause of the ANC have been greatly helped by the propaganda put forth by the media across the world, but I believe that a just cause such as ours will win through in the end.
"I have read numerous copies of S.A.Patriot and Kommando, and I must congratulate you on an excellent pair of magazines which give us the true facts about life in South Africa.
"Let me finish by once again wishing you all the very best for the future, and by using an old Ulster Loyalist battle-cry which is applicable to both our countries: "This is our land, No Surrender!"
Our sincerest condolences are extended to John Gregg's widow and son.

The witch-hunt initiated against Darren Lehmann after he made some quite innocuous "ethnic" remarks in the heat of the moment following his run out by the Sri Lankans in the VB Trophy series, reflects very badly upon the Australian Cricket authorities.
What Darren Lehmann said, after all, was nothing stronger than the comments regularly made about non-Whites in offices, bars and sports clubs throughout the Western world. LONDON SWINTON CIRCLE
The London Swinton Circle held a most important meeting in January, which was addressed by Mr. Albert Poggio, the official representative of the Gibraltar Government in London. Mr. Poggio can a masterful overview of the history of British rule in Gibraltar, explaining how Spanish claims on the Rock were completely groundless, and emphasising the ongoing military and strategic importance of the territory to Britain.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW ?
No.52 : Mr. MIKE GIBB of Pietermartizburg.
Mike Gibb was the son of a well-known Pietermartizburg G.P.. He studied at UNP during the mid-1980s, and was active in the Conservative Party student branch at that university. He wrote occasionally for S.A.Patriot at that time, organising a meeting of the newly-formed Patriotic Forum addressed by the touring British patriotic activist Alan Gresham at his home. He also staged a number of riotous parties - particularly New Year parties - which were greatly-famed in the locality. After graduating in the late 1980s he moved to the UK in order to enlist in the Coldstream Guards - a regiment with which he had strong family connections - but unfortunately was not successful in this attempt, though apparently he decided to stay on in the UK to work. Alas all contact with him ceased after this, but several of his former colleagues from South Africa would be very keen to hear from him again.

Sir,
Thank you for a most informative Cyber Newsletter this month. Priora Forum supports any action to move, delay or cancel any major sporting activity, i.e. the Cricket World Cup, from the Southern region of the continent of Africa. I am still amazed at how short the world's memory is. Can't anyone remember how much sport we played (or didn't play!) in the so-called "apartheid" years? Not a single South African team were welcome anywhere in the world - and then we had a stable economy, low fuel price, productive farmers, low crime-rate, low inflation, enough food for everyone, very few illegal immigrants, above average medical facilities, good roads, excellent schools and Universities, etc.
What amazes me even more is that the very same world, that condemnend White South Africans for the successes achieved in the midst of those years, is very quiet now regarding the very same issues that are still happening in South Africa, but just by Blacks this time. Just as an example: when a British tourist and his wife were attacked in their hotel in Pilgrim's Rest, no arrests were made before the announcement of a substantial financial "reward". Then the police force jumped into action. Let me ask you this: for how many of the +/- 1400 White farmers who were murdered in this country since 1994 (which you refer to in your newsletter) were any financial "rewards" offered if the killers of these farmers were brought to book? Let me tell you: None. Nothing. Nada.

ENLIGHTENING
Sir,
I'd like to comment on the letter from L.R. of Midrand (SCN, January 2003).
He gives an interesting piece of information on how potential housebreakers know when the occupants are at home, and the monitoring of their movements.
I recently learnt by experience that criminals also watch for outdoor lights that are left burning day and night, or are on at night only while the occupier is away. I have outdoor lights that come on automatically when there is movement withing their range. Because there is presently a fault in the sensor, which keeps them burning all the time, day and night, I switch them off unless I have visitors arriving or leaving after dark. Last week I switched them on one night for my daughter and her husband who had been been out to dinner and the movies while staying with us. I forgot to switch the lights off after they came home. That night, crooks tried to enter my front door by prising it open with a screwdriver - with the lights shining on them. Fortunately they did not succeed, but only damaged the woodwork. This is the first time this has happened. I assume it is because my front door is in darkness while I'm at home, and I had changed the pattern.
L.R.'s last paragraph disturbs me. He wrote: "I suppose they (Afrikaners) have natural intelligence going for them, and maybe a handful can achieve what it took a couple of million to do - turn this country around!"
The actions of these latter day resisters are reminiscent of those a century ago, whose stolid rejection of prevailing circumstances resulted in the scorched earth policy against their own people and the incarceration of their families in concentration camps. This resulted in over 26,000 deaths and a century of bitterness thereafter. The tripartite government is already using propaganda against the current 'bitter enders', which is likely to worsen.

SIGN OF THE TIMES

A few weeks ago there was a march down West Street in Durban of over 1,000 Blacks, carrying of all things an old style (i.e. a real) South African flag, chanting and carrying banners that said "Down with Mbeki" and "Empty Promises" and such like. Not a mention on the TV or radio or any newspaper, but the Durban Metro Police confirmed that the march took place. So there are things happening out there, interesting things, which the world is not hearing about.

OBITUARY
JOHN GREGG
John Gregg, who was assassinated by lesser beings last week, was a great Ulster Loyalist and Brigadier of the UDA's B Company (South-East Antrim). He was also a good friend of South Africa, who recognised and understood the similarities between the Ulster and South African struggles, and the close terrorist links between the IRA and the ANC (and who also, incidentally, recognised the dangers posed to the West by Saddam Hussein's Iraq).
John Gregg was imprisoned in Long Kesh following the attempted elimination of one of the world's most evil terrorists, Gerry Adams. Of course in any sane society such an action would have been rewarded with a medal, but during the appeasement years of the end of the 20th century this resulted in his incarceration. It was whilst he was incarcerated in Long Kesh, in 1988, that he first made contact with S.A.Patriot. He wrote as follows:-
"As a Loyalist prisoner ... I thought I should write to you to wish you and the people you represent all the very best for the future of your country.
"The Patriotic Press (publishers of S.A.Patriot) and the views represented by it have a large support among the Loyalist people, and especially among Loyalist prisoners. We both face the same enemy, namely the IRA-ANC Communists.
"The cause of the IRA and the cause of the ANC have been greatly helped by the propaganda put forth by the media across the world, but I believe that a just cause such as ours will win through in the end.
"I have read numerous copies of S.A.Patriot and Kommando, and I must congratulate you on an excellent pair of magazines which give us the true facts about life in South Africa.
"Let me finish by once again wishing you all the very best for the future, and by using an old Ulster Loyalist battle-cry which is applicable to both our countries: "This is our land, No Surrender!"
Our sincerest condolences are extended to John Gregg's widow and son.
