Over the centuries the British monarchy has served the British people very well. To be sure, there have been some rogues who have sat upon the throne, but these were mainly effectively removed without any lasting damage being caused to the nation. Indeed, ever since the Glorious Revolution of 1688 and the consequent establishment of constitutional monarchy, the power, prestige and prosperity of the United Kingdom (as came to fruition under Queen Anne in 1707) only increased, with successive monarchs all presiding over an expansion of the bounteous British Empire.
In spite of the hiccup of 1936 when Edward VIII chose a totally unsuitable woman to be his wife, the respect which the British people held for their monarch held good, and the steadfastness of his brother and successor George VI was an inspiration to the British nation and the Commonwealth as they withstood and overcame German aggression during WWII – just as his father George V had provided similar inspiration against the same threat during WWI, and as his great-grandmother Queen Victoria had done by personifying national advancement throughout the nineteenth century.
It is difficult to criticise the present Queen Elizabeth, as increasing constitutional constraints have made it very difficult for her to do other than “to consult, to encourage and to warn”, but we do however believe that she should have warned successive governments strongly about their great mistakes in dismantling the British Empire, joining the Common Market/EU and allowing massive alien immigration into the British homeland, all steps which had a grave detrimental effect upon the well-being of her subjects. Furthermore, her willingness to welcome evil overseas dictators and terrorists on state visits seemingly without any criticism will surely mean that history will not view her entirely kindly.
But it is two more recent developments concerning the British Royal Family which are of concern now. Firstly HRH the Duke of York has been criticised for his business relationship with the late American financier Jeffrey Epstein, who died mysteriously in jail whilst facing charges of engaging in underage-sex. This criticism is therefore nothing more than an allegation of “guilt by association”. The subsequent accusation of a similar crime committed by HRH the Duke of York himself was made by a publicity-seeking woman of admitted lax morals during her youth, and lacks any form of substantiated proof whatsoever. If the photograph produced to try to justify this claim was genuine then HRH the Duke of York must have a very long left arm! HRH the Duke of York is highly popular, is a British war hero and, his unwise choice of friends notwithstanding, has served his country extremely well in many other ways. Quite clearly there are those both inside and outside Royal circles who wish to do him down, and the reasons for this are a matter of puzzling concern.
The other recent crisis which has hit the Royal Family involves Prince Harry (now officially titled the Duke of Sussex) and is far more worrying and serious. It is surely now an accepted fact that he made a highly unsuitable choice in his wife, but there is a more important “elephant in the room” involved which has been hardly mentioned in the UK media, namely the severe doubts over his true paternity. Rumours have abounded for years on the Internet and in “pub talk” that his biological father was actually Major James Hewitt, but there has been an almost complete blackout regarding this theory in the British media – though apparently not so much in Australia and other parts of the world where the subject has been discussed openly. The rumour has been floated that a DNA test was carried out on Prince Harry and the result was that he was indeed the son of the Prince of Wales – but as these have only been rumours there is therefore no evidence that any such tests ever took place! We therefore call upon the authorities to conduct an open DNA test upon Prince Harry to be conducted by respected experts, and if the result proves that he has no Royal blood then he and his descendants must be removed from the order of succession. Be this as it may, the actions of Prince Harry – or the Duke of Sussex as he now officially should be called – in abandoning his HRH prefix and withdrawing from all Royal duties, must mean that some far more fundamental actions will further have to be taken. Already a motion has been tabled in the Brighton & Hove City Council requesting that the titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex be revoked, presumably because they do not approve of the name of their beautiful and beloved county being sullied because of the ethnicity of the controversial Duchess. Surely therefore the precedence of Prince Harry’s great-granduncle, who also insisted upon marrying an equally unsuitable divorcée, should be enacted, and he should similarly be instructed to abandon any position for himself and his descendants in the order of succession to the throne. Perhaps it might also be a good idea for the titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex to be renounced, and that instead the couple be awarded the titles given to his great-granduncle and his wife, namely the Duke and Duchess of Windsor – titles which have been in abeyance since the death of the earlier Duchess.

SPRINGBOK CLUB NEWS
Happily it can be reported that the Springbok Club’s 2020 AGM held last month proved a most enjoyable and successful occasion, with an attendance somewhat higher than for several years. A new member was elected to the Committee to take the place of the vacancy, and a new appointment as Fund-raiser was also successfully filled. A motion was also proposed and passed that the annual fee for Associate Membership should be raised from £10.00 to £15.00, although the fee for Full Membership would remain at £20.00 per annum. After the business side of proceedings was concluded Mr. Gary Vincent gave a superlative PowerPoint presentation about the 1820 Settlers in order to celebrate the 200th anniversary of their colonisation of the Eastern Cape. This presentation dwelt on the selection process for the initial settlers (which mainly took place at the “Crown & Anchor” Ballroom in London, the site of the current “The George” pub in the Strand), the voyages of the main ships S.S.Chapman and S.S.Nautilus to transport the settlers to the Eastern Cape, and the significant part played in the whole enterprise by Sir Rafate Donkin – after whose late wife Port Elizabeth was named. Unexpectedly this presentation ended with the words “The Beginning” rather than “The End” – which was truly accurate as the colonisation of the Eastern Cape by the 1820 Settlers actually marked the beginning of the establishment of British civilisation in this part of Southern Africa – a triumphant achievement which was alas betrayed by the sell-out “National Party” government of South Africa some 170 years later!

The Springbok Club will be staging a trip to the Wallace Collection in London on Saturday 15th February, in order to see a special exhibition entitled “Forgotten Masters: Indian Painting for the East Indian Company”. Rendezvous at “The Devonshire Arms”, 7 Duke Street, London, W1U 3EE, between 14.00 hrs and 15.00 hrs., before leaving for the near-by Wallace Collection at 15.00 hrs sharp. After viewing the exhibition the Springbok Club party will adjourn to another near-by hostelry for discussions and a convivial conclusion to the day.

In March the Springbok Club will be holding a special meeting to be addressed by a prominent Loyalist who will be speaking about the history and work of the three Loyal Orders, and in April will be staging a special event in order to celebrate van Riebeeck’s Day. More details about these two events will be given in next month’s SCN.

PATRIOTIC FORUM NEWS
On the evening of Friday 31st January a large contingent of Patriotic Forum members and supporters participated in the massive celebrations at Parliament Square marking the restoration of Britain’s sovereign independence. This proved a most spectacular and memorable event, and good new contacts were established with a number of prominent Brexit Party members and others who had campaigned for decades to achieve Britain’s withdrawal from the hated European Union. The Patriotic Forum had special publicity flyers printed for this event, and hundreds were distributed among the large crowds, alerting everyone to the on-going activities which the Patriotic Forum will continue to stage in order to advance the patriotic cause. It was also most encouraging to make contact with a group of Flemish nationalists who had journeyed over to London specially for this occasion. Although of course the Patriotic Forum, being a staunchly Unionist organisation, doesn’t support the cause of Flemish breakaway from the Belgium nation, the fact that a group of fellow anti-EU Europeans went out of their way to support the enactment of Brexit can only be regarded as a great encouragement.

Unfortunately the planned guest speaker for the Patriotic Forum’s annual New Zealand Day celebration meeting had to withdraw because of an unexpected return visit to New Zealand, so this year’s event was therefore a far lower-keyed affair than anticipated. The scheduled guest speaker has promised that she will speak for the organisation in a future year however.

The Patriotic Forum will be holding a special Australian-themed event in April 2020 in order to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of Captain James Cook’s landing at Botany Bay, and in May will be holding its traditional Empire Day celebration meeting. In August the first annual “Delderfield Lecture”(to be held in honour of the late Dennis Delderfield, who founded New Britain, a component part of today’s Patriotic Forum) will be staged, at which the guest speaker will be a long-standing soul-mate of Dennis Delderfield who similarly campaigned for decades to achieve Britain’s withdrawal from the European Union. MESSAGE FROM THE NETWORK FOR ANIMALS
We have recently received the following most disturbing message from the Network for Animals organisation :-
“The African country of Botswana has taken the outrageous step of legalizing elephant hunting, at a time when elephants are dying, at the rate of 100 a day, from poaching – and it’s getting worse in Botswana. A recent aerial wildlife survey, conducted by Elephants Without Borders (EWB), showed an increased number of fresh elephant carcasses in the north of the country, undoubtedly the victims of poaching..
“Even worse, Botswana now wants to sell ivory from the dead elephants on the world markets!
“Make no mistake, the present government of Botswana cares nothing for elephants, viewing them as little more than a nuisance. Such is their contempt for world opinion and the safety of elephants, that it recently presented stools, made from elephant feet, to three African leaders during a meeting on the future of elephants.
“If the Botswana government continues, the country’s elephants will be wiped out – all 130,000 of them.
“The scale of this disaster is utterly catastrophic for elephants. During the 20th century, it is estimated that there were between three to five million African elephants. Now, there are only 400,000 left, and that number drops every single day, by 100 or more.
“Yet Botswana is asking the upcoming meeting of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), to allow it to export elephant tusks to the world, in spite of an international ban on the trade.
“This outrageous behavior by Botswana makes Network for Animals’ work to save elephants in neighboring South Africa, even more important. We are relocating elephant families to wilderness areas, thousands of miles from poaching routes, and we are helping protect them by financing anti-poaching patrols.
“In the light of these latest developments, we urgently need to do more – and do it faster, and we need your help to do so. Please give generously to Network for Animals today so that, no matter what happens in Botswana, we can save as many wild elephants as possible.
“The area we work in is called the Addo National Park, and it is really the best hope for the world’s elephants. It is nearly 800 miles from Botswana, and 1,000 miles from the poaching hotspot of Mozambique. At Addo, if nowhere else, elephants will, hopefully, be safe.

ANOTHER SOUTH AFRICAN POISONING SCANDAL?
Shortly after the touring England Cricket team arrived in South Africa recently several of their leading players were taken ill with food poisoning, and as a result the weakened England team lost a couple of matches which they were expected to win easily. Although there has been no suggestion that these poisonings were deliberate, the whole incident does bring back memories of the 1995 Rugby World Cup Final in South Africa, when several members of the hot-favourite New Zealand team were laid low with food-poisoning in an incident which was later revealed to have been deliberate (see April 2016 SCN). Although it was claimed that this poisoning was enacted at the behest of a Far Eastern betting syndicate, many believe that its true reason was in order for the ANC-regime to gain international prestige by means of a sporting triumph. In view of this the “new” South Africa’s surprising victory at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan becomes even more potentially sinister, as they were not expected to beat Wales in the semi-final, let alone the in-form England team in the final. Perhaps a full investigation should therefore take place in order to check whether any of the Welsh or English players displayed any subsequent signs of food-poisoning?

PRO-FAMILY CRUSADER SUFFERS FURTHER VICTIMISATION
In last month’s SCN we reported on how Caroline Farrow, the UK and RoI Campaigns Director for the CitizenGO pro-family organisation, was facing a criminal prosecution and possible imprisonment as a result of a vicious and vindictive hate campaign being waged against her by pro-homosexual activists
We have now learnt that this hate-campaign against Caroline has continued, and somehow – apparently by spreading fake news about her – the pro-perversion lobby has managed to have her barred from entering the United States. The reason she was aiming to visit the U.S. was in order to join other CitizenGO activists from around the world in delivering a protest petition to the Disney Corporation’s headquarters at Orlando in Florida, asking Disney to stop converting their parks and movies into a pro-homosexual propaganda machine. Caroline and her CitizenGO colleagues had the last laugh however, for the organisation successfully managed to deliver its petition containing some half-million signatures to Disney’s CEO at their Orlando HQ! We therefore salute Caroline Farrow and the CitizenGO organisation in their efforts to uphold civilised standards and to protect the well-being of our children in this way. No.255 - Mr. GERRY BARKER of Durban and Australia
Gerry Barker was a prominent member of the Roper Set in Durban. British by birth, he had a brother named Alan (although he was not so active in the Roper Set) and was a keen and talented sportsman. He lived in Durban for many years, before re-emigrating to Australia in the early-1980s, but only about a year later he returned to Durban on a visit where he amazed and amused everybody by having perfected an outrageous Australian accent! It would be very interesting to learn whether he is still based in Australia, or whether he has continued his globe-trotting!

LETTER TO THE EDITOR
GHERKIN REMEMBERED
Sir,
I have recently come across an extremely interesting press cutting from the Sunday Times of March 8th 1992 featuring a certain Mr. Gordon Parkin. The report begins as follows :-
“Right-wing Durban city councillor Gordon Parkin was nervous and ‘hyped up’ during his maiden speech at City Hall. But when the Democratic Party’s Yvonne Hart asked him to speak up he angrily suggested that she ‘come outside’. Mayor Gys Muller ordered Mr.Parkin to leave the council chamber after he refused to withdraw his ‘threatening’ remark. It was the first time a Durban councillor had been ejected after making a maiden speech. The confrontation occurred on Monday when Mr.Parkin – councillor for Umhlatazana East - rose to speak on the issue of appointing a task-force to draw up by-laws to control informal street-trading. Mr.Parkin had not said anything in the chamber since his election last year, and appeared nervous on his big day, He spoke quickly – and not into the microphone. Several councillors asked him to speak up, but Mr.Parkin continued to ‘ramble’. When Mrs.Hart stood up and asked him to speak more slowly, he said: ‘If you want to argue, come outside’.”
I knew Mr.Gordon Parkin several years ago, but I didn’t know previously that he had been elected a Durban city councilor. I’m afraid however that my memories of him were not very favourable. He attached himself to the “Right-wing” movement in the city during the struggle against the NP’s betrayal programme, but managed to upset and alienate one person after another. The two main reasons for this were his habit of telling people what to do, but then doing nothing himself (i.e. being “all talk but no action”), and failing to turn up to meetings and other activities after promising to do so. It was a great surprise therefore to learn that he was elected to council as a “Right-winger”. Who was behind his election campaign I therefore wonder, and how come people voted for such an incapable and unqualified candidate who only brought shame to the Right-wing cause by his oafish behaviour?

OBITUARY
TERRY JONES
It was with great sadness that we learnt of the recent death of Terry Jones, the famous comedian and comedy scriptwriter, at the age of 77. Terry Jones was born at Colwyn Bay, but moved with his family to Surrey whilst still a boy. He attended the Royal Guildford Grammar School where his precocious talents propelled him not only to become head boy, but also to become captain of the school’s Rugby Union Football 1st XV. He was also a keen member of the school’s Officer Cadet Corp, wherein he proved to be a crack shot. After school he won a place at St.Edmund Hall, Oxford, where he studied English and History – but he also immersed himself in university drama and comedy reviews.
As a result of the acclaim which he received for his comedy productions at university he was recruited into the scriptwriting team for David Frost’s various TV programmes, and from there went on to appear on the screen himself in the ground-breaking TV comedy series Do Not Adjust Your Set, alongside his Oxford colleague Michael Palin. Together with the other main characters from the Do Not Adjust Your Set team Terry Jones joined up with members from the other ground-breaking TV comedy series of the period, At Last the 1948 Show, in order to form probably the greatest comedy manifestation of all time – Monty Python’s Flying Circus. The rest, as they say, is history.
Terry Jones remained with the Monty Python team throughout all of its on-and-off reincarnations for the rest of his life, even though he, like all other team members, branched out into his own comedy ventures. But his solo ventures were not only of a comedy nature, for he also returned to his academic expertise by writing, producing and presenting several TV documentary series about medieval history – though these always had constant humorous twists! Probably the most important of these was his series Crusades, which emphasised none too subtly that the West faced the same threat from Islamic expansionism today as it did during medieval times.
The Monty Python team, and Terry Jones in particular, brought great joy and laughter to millions of people during the dark depressing era of the latter half of the 20th century, in particular by pillorying and ridiculing many of the “politically correct” shibboleths of the time – something which alas most subsequent mainstream comedians have been too frightened to do. Perhaps now is therefore a good time to remind ourselves of one of the best “non-politically correct” sketches featuring Terry Jones, which can be accessed at :-

The result of last month’s British General Election of course brought us great joy and excitement. It not only meant that Brexit can now proceed speedily and unhindered, but it also meant that the failed ideology of socialism, which surprisingly re-surfaced under Corbyn’s ascendancy in the Labour Party, had been overwhelmingly rejected by the British people, hopefully never to arise again.
There were however two most worrying aspects which emerged from the General Election, namely the results in both Scotland and Northern Ireland. Although the SNP did not “sweep he board” in Scotland as many commentators inaccurately claimed (they won only 48 of Scotland’s 59 seats), their increase of support from the 2017 General Election when they appeared to be on the wane, was a source of great concern. The SNP’s percentage of the vote was only 45% however, meaning that the combined pro-Unionist vote stood at 55% - in other words the Unionist/Nationalist split in Scotland was almost exactly the same as it was at the 2014 Referendum. In Northern Ireland the result was even more worrying however, as the decline in support for the DUP, caused in large-part because of their “absolutist” attitude towards the Government’s Brexit proposals we believe, has meant that Nationalist parties now hold more seats than Unionist parties, with Sinn Féin/IRA candidates even gaining a seat. A close examination of the voting figures shows that the percentage of votes for the pro-Unionist parties (DUP, UUP and TUV) hasn’t declined all that much, and when it has then it has gone mainly to the wishy-washy appeasing Alliance Party. Quite clearly therefore greater Unionist co-operation is vital in the future, and the Alliance Party must be shown to be the dangerous irrelevancy which they actually are. A subsequent development of great concern has been apparently increasing liaison between the SNP and SF/IRA, in spite of the latter’s clear connections to terrorism. It must therefore be a primary priority of the strengthened Conservative Government to counteract support for these two poisonous parties, and in the long-run to arrange for the abolition of both the Holyrood and Stormont quangos (the latter certainly in its present “power-sharing” form).
But there are many other important matters which the rejuvenated Government of Boris Johnson must address as a matter of urgency as well as taking steps to strengthen the Union. Immigration by those not of British ethnic origin must be halted and steps must be taken to repatriate those already here. Closer links with the core Commonwealth and the United States must be pursued in the post-Brexit environment, and Defence spending must be greatly increased. Environmental safeguards and animal welfare must also be given high priority. Perhaps most importantly, however, the insidious influence of Leftist forces within the media must be tackled, and “political correctness” in general has to be eliminated from national life – and this means that the token non-Whites within the Government must be removed.
The British General Election result hasn’t been the only dramatic development since last month’s SCN was published however. The elimination of the Iranian terrorist commander Qassem Soleimani by US forces has been another event of great significance which can only engender great encouragement and satisfaction around the Western world. In the November 2019 Edition of the SCN we were highly critical of President Trump for withdrawing US troops from Syria and thus causing greater instability in the Middle East which could only result in even more unwanted Asian immigration into Europe. His action in ordering the removal of Qassem Soleimani – which was accompanied by a return of US forces stationed in the area – has more than made up for his earlier mistake however. Just as we were critical of President Trump in November, so now we salute his latest actions.

Alas it must be reported that in spite of great efforts throughout the year the Springbok Club was unable to organise any “Raising of the Flag” ceremony during 2019. This means that we failed to fulfill our promise to Peter Sladden that we would ensure the continuation of this ceremony for posterity, which we made to him before his death in 2017 – though it does mean that we are more determined than ever to ensure that the ceremony is resumed from 2020 onwards! We do now have a potential new venue lined-up for 2020, but in case this does not prove feasible we ask all supporters and readers if they could possibly assist us with finding a new venue? The most important attribute is of course that the venue must have a fixed flag-pole, but ideally it should also have good indoor and outdoor facilities for catering with a fairly large crowd. Any financial assistance which could be given would also be most useful.

The Springbok Club’s 2020 Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday 22nd January 2020 in central London, commencing at 19.00 hrs.
All fully paid-up members of the Springbok Club are entitled to participate at this meeting, though only Honorary, Life and Full members will be allowed to vote or to stand for office. Associate members will however be allowed to attend and to participate in discussions.

The Patriotic Forum was most honoured to welcome Major John Browne, the former Conservative MP for Winchester, as their guest speaker last month. Unfortunately a combination of the fact that this meeting had to be held on the same day as the General Election and the inclement weather that day meant that the turnout for this event was disappointingly low, but those who did attend certainly had a treat, as Major Browne gave a most captivating speech. In his talk he not only recalled his experiences in Parliament under the premiership of Margaret Thatcher (most particularly during the time of the Falklands War) but also gave his optimistic views about Britain’s future outside the EU, especially regarding the opportunities which this presented for closer UK/US relations and co-operation.

BT SPORT EXCUSES TERRORISM
All decent people must surely have been totally sickened by the recent documentary screened by BT Sport entitled "Stop the Tour". This was an account of the extreme left-wing disruptions of the 1969/70 Springbok Rugby Tour to the British Isles and the planned 1970 Springbok Cricket Tour of the UK. The long-term aim of the sinister forces behind these disruptions was not only to prevent friendly sporting contacts between the British and South African people, but rather to overthrow the civilised structure of South African society and to replace it by a terrorist regime. The tactics used by the disrupters themselves could furthermore only be described as quasi-terrorism, featuring as they did the sprinkling of tin-tacks on sports fields, the hi-jacking of a team bus and threats to use firearms to shoot off bails at Cricket matches. Although this programme didn't openly support terrorism, it was however sympathetic towards those who employed these quasi-terrorist tactics, and should therefore be condemned out of hand. Most sickening of all was an interview with a certain Peter Hain, the creature who organised the entire anti-South African subversion. The word "evil" is perhaps often over-used, but there seems to be no other word than "evil" which accurately describes Hain and his aims. He is an individual with apparently no redeeming features whatsoever, and for BT Sport to provide him with a platform to try to justify his violent actions is surely inexcusable. We therefore call upon everyone to protest to BT Sport about the production and screening of this highly offensive documentary. BT Sport should furthermore be severely criticised for hardly mentioning all of the pro-South African counter-demonstrations at the time. Those who took part in these counter-demonstrations can testify that they were far larger in support than the numbers of Hain's disgusting thugs - though alas, as they were peaceful and pro-democratic, they did not receive nearly as much publicity.

MORAL CRUSADER THREATENED
Caroline Farrow, the Campaigns Director for the UK and RoI for the CitizenGO pro-morality organisation, is currently facing a criminal prosecution and possible imprisonment as a result of a vicious and vindictive hate campaign being waged against her by pro-perversion activists. A report about her plight which we have received from the CitizenGO organisation reads as follows :-
“Caroline earned the hatred of the transgender lobbies in March of last year when she faced investigation by her local police force after describing the sex-reassignment surgery performed on a 16-year-old boy as ‘castration, mutilation, and child abuse.’
“Caroline was criticizing the decision of Susie Green, the leader of a radical UK transgender lobby group, to have this foolish surgery performed on her son on his sixteenth birthday. Mrs. Green had planned to take her son to Thailand because the surgery was illegal in the UK but, as a result of the publicity, Thai authorities were so shocked that they then banned the procedure for children under 18.
“That was the first time Caroline was dragged into court.
“Even though the police decided to drop the charges against Caroline, another aggressive transgender lobbyist, Stephanie Hayden, decided to target her and directed a campaign of abuse at her across several social media platforms.
“Caroline began to receive a huge volume of aggressive statements across many platforms. Countless blogs were written about her containing violent and sexual threats, which also threatened her family and young children.
“Many of the comments were openly violent, and most were obscene and vulgar.
“But the revenge campaign did not end there.
“Caroline’s family began to receive offline harassment, such as unordered food deliveries coming to her house as many as eight times a day, and online confirmations for goods she hadn’t ordered. Of course, businesses wanted Caroline to pay for it all.
“Then her husband was anonymously reported for "abuse" of their five lovely children. Police and bureaucrats came to the home demanding to interview the young children -- a nightmare for any parent, though it was quickly determined there was no harm being done.
“The activists got hold of her family’s phone numbers and email addresses and caused havoc in their lives, including hints of harm to the children.
Terrified they might carry out their threats, Caroline stood up to her bullies on social media and pleaded with them once again to leave her alone.
“The transgender activist, Stephanie Hayden, then arrived at her house to serve a lawsuit on Caroline for alleged harassment in an attempt to use the legal system to bully her.
“Two days later, after having had little time to find lawyers and prepare a defense, the judge decided to believe Stephanie Hayden, who expressed concern that Caroline had mis-gendered him, which he called offensive. The judge banned Caroline from mentioning this transgender again.
“But lies are part of the enemy’s weapons.
“Stephanie Hayden is suing Caroline for as much as £100,000 and is attempting to set a precedent in case law to make mis-gendering illegal.
“Not content with attempting to financially ruin Caroline’s family, Stephanie Hayden is also attempting to have our Director put in prison, falsely claiming that she has broken the terms of the injunction and is in contempt of court over an innocent joke Caroline made about a pork pie!
“Our brave campaigner, Caroline Farrow, should not suffer this harassment and persecution just because she told the truth.
“But the reality is, she is now facing staggering legal fees just to defend herself from these vicious attacks.”

INTERESTING SCRIPT DIALOGUE IN BBC DRAMA
The current BBC1 serial “The Trial of Christine Keeler” is a most interesting and entertaining drama reminding everyone about the notorious Profumo Scandal of the 1960s, and revealing many hitherto little known aspects about the saga. The serial is however of particular interest for the manner in which it accurately conveyed the commonly held social attitudes towards Negro immigrants at the time. In an early episode a lady passer-by openly shouts out “disgusting” at the whore Christine Keeler when she sees her consorting with a Negro, and characters portraying both a policeman and Keeler’s own mother use forthright terms to express their opposition to the immigrants who they regarded as having invaded their country. Although such attitudes were both natural and widespread at the time, the advent of various pieces of anti-free speech “race relations” legislation by the Wilson Labour Government of the late-1960s meant that people were increasingly cowed into silence rather than being prepared to express their true opinions overtly. Intimidation by the “race relations Gestapo” remained high throughout the 1970s, 80s and the “politically correct” 1990s of course, but increasingly since the turn of the Millennium their dominance seems to be on the wane. This refusal to be intimidated any longer has been clearly shown by escalating vocal opposition to foreign players competing in Soccer matches, fearless criticism of Prince Harry’s unsuitable wife because of her ethnic origins – and of course by this current realistic dialogue in TV dramas.

Joe Vermaak came from an Afrikaner platteland community, but moved to Durban in order to advance his career. He was a highly skilled computer programmer, and worked for Unilever during the late 1970s. He lived at an Afrikaner hostel whilst staying in Durban, and eagerly joined in their many social activities. He was a quiet man, though with a somewhat impish and self-effacing sense of humour, and was also very much of a ladies’ man – though in the best sense of this term! ROGUES GALLERY
Ever since our movement was re-established “in exile” we have been subjected to several attacks and dirty-tricks campaigns aimed at disrupting our activities, but in practically all cases these have been proved to have emanated from the extreme “off the edge” Right of the political spectrum – the most damaging example being of course in 2015 when the two-faced infiltrator Paul Griffin was involved. More recently, however, we have suffered from an infiltration and disruption plot which has clearly been from the extreme Left of the political spectrum.
In mid-2018 we were contacted by an apparent would-be supporter who gave his name as Ben van der Merwe and who claimed to be the great-grandson of Frank Waring, the great South African cabinet minister under Dr. Verwoerd and John Vorster. Whether this relationship was true or whether van der Merwe made it up simply in order to ingratiate himself with us we honestly don't know. He turned up at a Springbok Club event shortly after first making contact and seemed a very decent, friendly and supportive person, though he brought along a colleague with him who a couple of people sensed was a homosexual. Van der Merwe subsequently attended a Springbok Club meeting, and again didn't do or say anything which aroused suspicion, nor which indicated that he was other than fully supportive of our aims and objectives. He then attended the "Raising of the Flag" ceremony at Bath in December 2018, and it was here that the first problems from him were experienced. He again turned up with his colleague, but this time his appearance was even more disturbing and indicated even more strikingly that he was a sexual deviant. Just as the ceremony was about to begin, however, van der Merwe and his colleague mysteriously disappeared, and when everyone returned to the house where the ceremony took place it was discovered that one of the historic Rhodesian flags on display had been stolen! Although this flag was later left at a café in the centre of Bath completely undamaged, the whole unfortunate incident understandably upset the hosts considerably, and they have subsequently asked not to be contacted again - so our movement has therefore lost a very good couple of supporters as a result of the antics of the wretched van der Merwe.
At first we put this whole childish episode down to "student sky-larking", but then it was discovered that there was something far more sinister at play here, for we found that van der Merwe was a leading writer for the Oxford University student magazine Cherwell - and furthermore that the articles which he had written were of a very Left-wing and pro-homosexual nature! Following this it was revealed that van der Merwe wrote for the extreme Left-wing and anti-patriotic organisation "Hope not Hate", an outfit which we have in the past been advised to be very wary of - something which we now can see was very good advice! It is quite clear to us now therefore that we were totally "conned" by van der Merwe, and that his sole intention was to infiltrate our movement in order to discover more information about us and then to write smear articles about us to cause more trouble - as indeed he subsequently did with a very nasty article which he wrote for the "Hope not Hate" web-site attacking us following the Springbok Club’s double-celebration meeting in April of last year, and which was then picked-up by both The Guardian and The Eastern Daily Press who published further smear articles criticising both the guest speaker and the Springbok Club as a whole! If the wretched van der Merwe really is the great-grandson of Frank Waring - a prominent member of the National Party governments of South Africa when the system of separate development was fully in force - then his great-grandfather must now be turning in his grave!
We do not seem to be alone in being the victim of van der Merwe’s infiltration and dirty-tricks campaigns however, for we have recently been alerted to a most interesting exposé of him and his true nature which appears on the following web-site :-

January 2020 edition
The result of last month’s British General Election of course brought us great joy and excitement. It not only meant that Brexit can now proceed speedily and unhindered, but it also meant that the failed ideology of socialism, which surprisingly re-surfaced under Corbyn’s ascendancy in the Labour Party, had been overwhelmingly rejected by the British people, hopefully never to arise again.
There were however two most worrying aspects which emerged from the General Election, namely the results in both Scotland and Northern Ireland. Although the SNP did not “sweep he board” in Scotland as many commentators inaccurately claimed (they won only 48 of Scotland’s 59 seats), their increase of support from the 2017 General Election when they appeared to be on the wane, was a source of great concern. The SNP’s percentage of the vote was only 45% however, meaning that the combined pro-Unionist vote stood at 55% - in other words the Unionist/Nationalist split in Scotland was almost exactly the same as it was at the 2014 Referendum. In Northern Ireland the result was even more worrying however, as the decline in support for the DUP, caused in large-part because of their “absolutist” attitude towards the Government’s Brexit proposals we believe, has meant that Nationalist parties now hold more seats than Unionist parties, with Sinn Féin/IRA candidates even gaining a seat. A close examination of the voting figures shows that the percentage of votes for the pro-Unionist parties (DUP, UUP and TUV) hasn’t declined all that much, and when it has then it has gone mainly to the wishy-washy appeasing Alliance Party. Quite clearly therefore greater Unionist co-operation is vital in the future, and the Alliance Party must be shown to be the dangerous irrelevancy which they actually are. A subsequent development of great concern has been apparently increasing liaison between the SNP and SF/IRA, in spite of the latter’s clear connections to terrorism. It must therefore be a primary priority of the strengthened Conservative Government to counteract support for these two poisonous parties, and in the long-run to arrange for the abolition of both the Holyrood and Stormont quangos (the latter certainly in its present “power-sharing” form).
But there are many other important matters which the rejuvenated Government of Boris Johnson must address as a matter of urgency as well as taking steps to strengthen the Union. Immigration by those not of British ethnic origin must be halted and steps must be taken to repatriate those already here. Closer links with the core Commonwealth and the United States must be pursued in the post-Brexit environment, and Defence spending must be greatly increased. Environmental safeguards and animal welfare must also be given high priority. Perhaps most importantly, however, the insidious influence of Leftist forces within the media must be tackled, and “political correctness” in general has to be eliminated from national life – and this means that the token non-Whites within the Government must be removed.
The British General Election result hasn’t been the only dramatic development since last month’s SCN was published however. The elimination of the Iranian terrorist commander Qassem Soleimani by US forces has been another event of great significance which can only engender great encouragement and satisfaction around the Western world. In the November 2019 Edition of the SCN we were highly critical of President Trump for withdrawing US troops from Syria and thus causing greater instability in the Middle East which could only result in even more unwanted Asian immigration into Europe. His action in ordering the removal of Qassem Soleimani – which was accompanied by a return of US forces stationed in the area – has more than made up for his earlier mistake however. Just as we were critical of President Trump in November, so now we salute his latest actions.

The Patriotic Forum was most honoured to welcome Major John Browne, the former Conservative MP for Winchester, as their guest speaker last month. Unfortunately a combination of the fact that this meeting had to be held on the same day as the General Election and the inclement weather that day meant that the turnout for this event was disappointingly low, but those who did attend certainly had a treat, as Major Browne gave a most captivating speech. In his talk he not only recalled his experiences in Parliament under the premiership of Margaret Thatcher (most particularly during the time of the Falklands War) but also gave his optimistic views about Britain’s future outside the EU, especially regarding the opportunities which this presented for closer UK/US relations and co-operation.

BT SPORT EXCUSES TERRORISM
All decent people must surely have been totally sickened by the recent documentary screened by BT Sport entitled "Stop the Tour". This was an account of the extreme left-wing disruptions of the 1969/70 Springbok Rugby Tour to the British Isles and the planned 1970 Springbok Cricket Tour of the UK. The long-term aim of the sinister forces behind these disruptions was not only to prevent friendly sporting contacts between the British and South African people, but rather to overthrow the civilised structure of South African society and to replace it by a terrorist regime. The tactics used by the disrupters themselves could furthermore only be described as quasi-terrorism, featuring as they did the sprinkling of tin-tacks on sports fields, the hi-jacking of a team bus and threats to use firearms to shoot off bails at Cricket matches. Although this programme didn't openly support terrorism, it was however sympathetic towards those who employed these quasi-terrorist tactics, and should therefore be condemned out of hand. Most sickening of all was an interview with a certain Peter Hain, the creature who organised the entire anti-South African subversion. The word "evil" is perhaps often over-used, but there seems to be no other word than "evil" which accurately describes Hain and his aims. He is an individual with apparently no redeeming features whatsoever, and for BT Sport to provide him with a platform to try to justify his violent actions is surely inexcusable. We therefore call upon everyone to protest to BT Sport about the production and screening of this highly offensive documentary. BT Sport should furthermore be severely criticised for hardly mentioning all of the pro-South African counter-demonstrations at the time. Those who took part in these counter-demonstrations can testify that they were far larger in support than the numbers of Hain's disgusting thugs - though alas, as they were peaceful and pro-democratic, they did not receive nearly as much publicity.

MORAL CRUSADER THREATENED
Caroline Farrow, the Campaigns Director for the UK and RoI for the CitizenGO pro-morality organisation, is currently facing a criminal prosecution and possible imprisonment as a result of a vicious and vindictive hate campaign being waged against her by pro-perversion activists. A report about her plight which we have received from the CitizenGO organisation reads as follows :-
“Caroline earned the hatred of the transgender lobbies in March of last year when she faced investigation by her local police force after describing the sex-reassignment surgery performed on a 16-year-old boy as ‘castration, mutilation, and child abuse.’
“Caroline was criticizing the decision of Susie Green, the leader of a radical UK transgender lobby group, to have this foolish surgery performed on her son on his sixteenth birthday. Mrs. Green had planned to take her son to Thailand because the surgery was illegal in the UK but, as a result of the publicity, Thai authorities were so shocked that they then banned the procedure for children under 18.
“That was the first time Caroline was dragged into court.
“Even though the police decided to drop the charges against Caroline, another aggressive transgender lobbyist, Stephanie Hayden, decided to target her and directed a campaign of abuse at her across several social media platforms.
“Caroline began to receive a huge volume of aggressive statements across many platforms. Countless blogs were written about her containing violent and sexual threats, which also threatened her family and young children.
“Many of the comments were openly violent, and most were obscene and vulgar.
“But the revenge campaign did not end there.
“Caroline’s family began to receive offline harassment, such as unordered food deliveries coming to her house as many as eight times a day, and online confirmations for goods she hadn’t ordered. Of course, businesses wanted Caroline to pay for it all.
“Then her husband was anonymously reported for "abuse" of their five lovely children. Police and bureaucrats came to the home demanding to interview the young children -- a nightmare for any parent, though it was quickly determined there was no harm being done.
“The activists got hold of her family’s phone numbers and email addresses and caused havoc in their lives, including hints of harm to the children.
Terrified they might carry out their threats, Caroline stood up to her bullies on social media and pleaded with them once again to leave her alone.
“The transgender activist, Stephanie Hayden, then arrived at her house to serve a lawsuit on Caroline for alleged harassment in an attempt to use the legal system to bully her.
“Two days later, after having had little time to find lawyers and prepare a defense, the judge decided to believe Stephanie Hayden, who expressed concern that Caroline had mis-gendered him, which he called offensive. The judge banned Caroline from mentioning this transgender again.
“But lies are part of the enemy’s weapons.
“Stephanie Hayden is suing Caroline for as much as £100,000 and is attempting to set a precedent in case law to make mis-gendering illegal.
“Not content with attempting to financially ruin Caroline’s family, Stephanie Hayden is also attempting to have our Director put in prison, falsely claiming that she has broken the terms of the injunction and is in contempt of court over an innocent joke Caroline made about a pork pie!
“Our brave campaigner, Caroline Farrow, should not suffer this harassment and persecution just because she told the truth.
“But the reality is, she is now facing staggering legal fees just to defend herself from these vicious attacks.”

INTERESTING SCRIPT DIALOGUE IN BBC DRAMA
The current BBC1 serial “The Trial of Christine Keeler” is a most interesting and entertaining drama reminding everyone about the notorious Profumo Scandal of the 1960s, and revealing many hitherto little known aspects about the saga. The serial is however of particular interest for the manner in which it accurately conveyed the commonly held social attitudes towards Negro immigrants at the time. In an early episode a lady passer-by openly shouts out “disgusting” at the whore Christine Keeler when she sees her consorting with a Negro, and characters portraying both a policeman and Keeler’s own mother use forthright terms to express their opposition to the immigrants who they regarded as having invaded their country. Although such attitudes were both natural and widespread at the time, the advent of various pieces of anti-free speech “race relations” legislation by the Wilson Labour Government of the late-1960s meant that people were increasingly cowed into silence rather than being prepared to express their true opinions overtly. Intimidation by the “race relations Gestapo” remained high throughout the 1970s, 80s and the “politically correct” 1990s of course, but increasingly since the turn of the Millennium their dominance seems to be on the wane. This refusal to be intimidated any longer has been clearly shown by escalating vocal opposition to foreign players competing in Soccer matches, fearless criticism of Prince Harry’s unsuitable wife because of her ethnic origins – and of course by this current realistic dialogue in TV dramas.

Joe Vermaak came from an Afrikaner platteland community, but moved to Durban in order to advance his career. He was a highly skilled computer programmer, and worked for Unilever during the late 1970s. He lived at an Afrikaner hostel whilst staying in Durban, and eagerly joined in their many social activities. He was a quiet man, though with a somewhat impish and self-effacing sense of humour, and was also very much of a ladies’ man – though in the best sense of this term! ROGUES GALLERY
Ever since our movement was re-established “in exile” we have been subjected to several attacks and dirty-tricks campaigns aimed at disrupting our activities, but in practically all cases these have been proved to have emanated from the extreme “off the edge” Right of the political spectrum – the most damaging example being of course in 2015 when the two-faced infiltrator Paul Griffin was involved. More recently, however, we have suffered from an infiltration and disruption plot which has clearly been from the extreme Left of the political spectrum.
In mid-2018 we were contacted by an apparent would-be supporter who gave his name as Ben van der Merwe and who claimed to be the great-grandson of Frank Waring, the great South African cabinet minister under Dr. Verwoerd and John Vorster. Whether this relationship was true or whether van der Merwe made it up simply in order to ingratiate himself with us we honestly don't know. He turned up at a Springbok Club event shortly after first making contact and seemed a very decent, friendly and supportive person, though he brought along a colleague with him who a couple of people sensed was a homosexual. Van der Merwe subsequently attended a Springbok Club meeting, and again didn't do or say anything which aroused suspicion, nor which indicated that he was other than fully supportive of our aims and objectives. He then attended the "Raising of the Flag" ceremony at Bath in December 2018, and it was here that the first problems from him were experienced. He again turned up with his colleague, but this time his appearance was even more disturbing and indicated even more strikingly that he was a sexual deviant. Just as the ceremony was about to begin, however, van der Merwe and his colleague mysteriously disappeared, and when everyone returned to the house where the ceremony took place it was discovered that one of the historic Rhodesian flags on display had been stolen! Although this flag was later left at a café in the centre of Bath completely undamaged, the whole unfortunate incident understandably upset the hosts considerably, and they have subsequently asked not to be contacted again - so our movement has therefore lost a very good couple of supporters as a result of the antics of the wretched van der Merwe.
At first we put this whole childish episode down to "student sky-larking", but then it was discovered that there was something far more sinister at play here, for we found that van der Merwe was a leading writer for the Oxford University student magazine Cherwell - and furthermore that the articles which he had written were of a very Left-wing and pro-homosexual nature! Following this it was revealed that van der Merwe wrote for the extreme Left-wing and anti-patriotic organisation "Hope not Hate", an outfit which we have in the past been advised to be very wary of - something which we now can see was very good advice! It is quite clear to us now therefore that we were totally "conned" by van der Merwe, and that his sole intention was to infiltrate our movement in order to discover more information about us and then to write smear articles about us to cause more trouble - as indeed he subsequently did with a very nasty article which he wrote for the "Hope not Hate" web-site attacking us following the Springbok Club’s double-celebration meeting in April of last year, and which was then picked-up by both The Guardian and The Eastern Daily Press who published further smear articles criticising both the guest speaker and the Springbok Club as a whole! If the wretched van der Merwe really is the great-grandson of Frank Waring - a prominent member of the National Party governments of South Africa when the system of separate development was fully in force - then his great-grandfather must now be turning in his grave!
We do not seem to be alone in being the victim of van der Merwe’s infiltration and dirty-tricks campaigns however, for we have recently been alerted to a most interesting exposé of him and his true nature which appears on the following web-site :-

The forthcoming British General Election is probably one of the most important in history. This may sound like a cliché, but it is true nevertheless. It is not just that the speedy culmination of the Brexit process is at stake at this election – it is also because the prospect of such a despicable character as Jeremy Corbyn becoming Prime Minister is simply too ghastly to be contemplated.
Make no bones about it, Jeremy Corbyn is evil personified. He refers to the Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists as “his friends”, he acts as an apologist for SF/IRA terrorism, and he calls for the massive nationalisation of British industry – in other words theft! He quite clearly hates the nation which gave him birth, not only by refusing to respect its National Anthem and by none-too-subtle attacks against the Royal Family, but even more damningly by refusing to support his own country in the Wars against Islamic Terror. One is therefore left wondering why on earth he ever wishes to lead a country which he so obviously hates – unless it is simply in order to try to destroy that country!
To be sure, the only conceivable alternative as Prime Minister, the present Premier and Leader of the Conservative and Unionist Party Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, is not perfect, and we have a particular disagreement with him concerning the ridiculously high number of foreigners who he has appointed to his cabinet (as we criticised in the editorial of the August 2019 Edition of the SCN), but all his faults shade into insignificance when compared to the vile and treacherous nature of Corbyn.
We therefore have no hesitation in advocating full support for the Conservative and Unionist Party at the forthcoming British General Election. There may of course be certain seats in former coal-mining areas which the Conservative and Unionist Party has never won in living memory where support for UKIP or the Brexit Party is the better option, and many may also believe that in constituencies where the Conservative and Unionist Party has unwisely nominated foreign candidates or those who are openly sexual deviants where they cannot be supported, but such constituencies only make up a very small minority, so the general rule should still prevail.
In Northern Ireland, however, the situation is a lot more worrying. Unfortunately the DUP have taken a far too absolutist position on Brexit without seeming to realise that once Brexit has been achieved and Britain is once again an independent nation then all previous agreements with the EU can be altered – and as a result they have apparently lost the support of many more moderate Unionists. The only conceivable alternatives to the DUP are however either the SF/IRA terrorists themselves or their appeasers from the so-called Alliance Party, both of which are just as unacceptable as Corbyn is on the mainland. In spite of our criticism of the DUP’s absolutist stance we must still advocate full support for them in the Northern Ireland context therefore.
With hopefully a decisive victory for Boris Johnson on 12th December a glorious new dawn will then beckon for the British nation and its global diaspora. Once Brexit is completed, with no possibility of a “border down the Irish Sea” in reality, then further important matters should and must be tackled fast. The immigration/repatriation issue must be addressed in full, and the undemocratic bias displayed by both the judiciary and the media eliminated. Following this then a new golden age of British global destiny can once again be contemplated!

SPRINGBOK CLUB NEWS
The Springbok Club held a most enjoyable and enthralling meeting last month which celebrated the 54th anniversary of Rhodesian UDI. The guest speaker at this event was Mr. Neil Farnell who had initiated the famous 1976 Tour of Rhodesia by five (then) young British patriots who wished to show their solidarity with their Rhodesian kith and kin. Mr. Farnell gave a most riveting talk, which he illustrated with pictures and documents from the time, and in which he explained why from an early age, even though he had been born and brought up in a northern industrial town, he had felt strong empathy with the Rhodesian people and their struggle, and had wished to help them. He explained that he was in no way unique in Britain at the time in this respect, and that it had therefore not been difficult to gather together a touring party and to organize the trip. He then went on to give an account of the tour itself, telling how the tour party visited the Rhodesian Parliament where they met the Hon. Ian Douglas Smith, the Rhodesian Front HQ where they met “Boss” Lilford, and were interviewed by Harvey Ward on RTV. He also told a number of amusing anecdotes about their stays at Mrs. Timms’ Guest Houses, their trip in a ferry down Lake Kariba, some near-death experiences which they encountered in Hwange National Park, and their visit to “The Republic of Enkeldoorn”! Most importantly, however, he told of their most inspiring visit to the grave of Cecil John Rhodes at the Matopos, where due homage was paid.

Unfortunately it has not proved possible to stage a full “Raising of the Flag” ceremony this year as hoped, though it is planned to hold a symbolic “Unfurling of the Flag” ceremony in East Kent towards the end of December. We are still determined to stage the “Raising of the Flag” ceremony in its full traditional form during September 2020 however, so if anyone can help us by suggesting a suitable venue with an outside flagpole and both indoors and outdoors facilities then we would be most grateful.

John Browne served as Conservative MP for Winchester from 1979 to 1992 and was subsequently a Vice President of the UK Independence Party. A graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, he was a major in the Grenadiers of The Queen’s Royal guard, serving both as a pilot and as a parachutist. On public duties, he had responsibility for the pallbearers at the State Funeral of Sir Winston Churchill. He has a Master of Science degree from Cranfield Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard.
In Parliament John was elected Chairman of the Conservative Small Business Committee, appointed a Member of the powerful Treasury Select Committee and a Delegate to the North Atlantic Assembly, the political arm of NATO. He was made the Personal Liaison to Mikhail Gorbachev on his first official visit to the West. He predicted Gorbachev becoming the next Soviet Leader, bringing about great change. Briefed by Mr. Browne, Margaret Thatcher issued her Cold War breaking statement: “I think I can do business with this man.”
After graduation from Harvard, John Browns spent time as a somewhat unskilled cowboy on a working ranch in Wyoming. Subsequently, he joined Morgan Stanley as an investment banker in New York. With an extensive education and experience in economics, business and finance, John is a frequent speaker to business groups. He has lectured in many parts of the world, including: at the Kremlin, Hong Kong and Switzerland. He is interviewed regularly on radio and TV including: ABC, CNBC, CNN, Fox News, and Newsmax.
At present, John offers professional services in luxury residential and commercial real estate as a Realtor at Illustrated Properties in Palm Beach County, Florida. He is a partner in Frazier, Browne and Mayer LLC.

Often, we can’t take good photographs of the poor creatures because we need to get them to safety before the gangsters find us.
“One day recently, we rescued three dogs and photographed them in a studio – so you can better see the poor souls we help. Denzel, Vanessa and Chopin are classic examples of why.
“Denzel was found starving and badly affected by canine scabies (mange) while attempting to escape nasty children who were throwing stones at him. We rescued him and are paying for his care.
“Vanessa was rescued from an abusive home in a slum area. The owners had crushed her paw, and that of another dog so they couldn’t run away. We confiscated several animals found at the house.
“Chopin was dumped at the side of the road. We rescued him, are paying for his medical care and will help find him a good home.
“The areas where we found the dogs are extremely dangerous – our team has been threatened and shot at while rescuing dogs, but we will NEVER stop saving lives.
“There are now 350 dogs who live at the Fallen Angels shelter in South Africa’s Western Cape and we care for them all. As many as possible are re-homed.

ISRAEL FOLAU IS VICTORIOUS!
In the April 2019 Edition of the SCN we reported upon the fact that Israel Folau, the Australian Rugby Full-Back and a devout Christian, had had his contract terminated by Rugby Australia simply because he had made a posting on Instagram in which he had condemned eight groups of people who he considered sinners. Of these eight groups it was evidently only one which was objected to by Rugby Australia – homosexuals. Like many other commentators we registered our condemnation of Rugby Australia in this regard as it quite clearly infringed upon Israel Folau’s rights of free speech and religious conscience.
As a result Israel Folau took legal action against Rugby Australia for religious discrimination, and an out-of-court settlement was recently agreed upon involving an undisclosed damages payment and an assurance from Rugby Australia that Israel Folau would be eligible for selection for the national team once again. Together with all other supporters of free speech – be they Christians or not – we of course welcome this outcome, and trust that it will make sporting bodies around the world appreciate the widespread revulsion which exists regarding any pandering towards pro-perversion lobbies.
Following his earlier forthright comments condemning homosexuality Israel Folau has subsequently stated that he believes that the recent bush fires sweeping through eastern Australia were God’s punishment for Australia’s legalising of same-sex “marriages”. Although, to put it mildly, we do not exactly agree with Israel Folau about the cause of these bush fires, his theory is however perhaps a little more likely than some of the wilder claims made for their cause by certain man-made climate-change fanatics!

No.253 - Mr. DAVID STEAD of Durban
David Stead lived on the Bluff in Durban and had a distinguished career in the South African Air Force. He was a good supporter of the Save Rhodesia Campaign during the late 1970s, and following the formation of the Conservative Party of South Africa he joined the party and stood as their candidate at the Durban Municipal Elections of the early 1980s for one of the wards on the Bluff, though alas he was not victorious. He mysteriously disappeared from the scene shortly after this however, so it would therefore be very interesting to learn whatever happened to him.

Sir,
The SAPS and prosecutors are very quick to react against a White person using "hate speech", which now includes the "gratuitous display" of the previous national flag of South Africa (and probably flags of the pre-1902 Boer Republics too). I have such a flag on the rear window of my car bought in 1987. In 1994 I placed the current South African flag alongside it. I wonder if I will be prosecuted if I'm stopped at a police road block and accused of displaying "hate speech" on my car? We are yet to see just ONE Black person being prosecuted for using "hate speech", although multiple examples have been cited and published in the media.
Derogatory terms for Whites, especially White farmers, such as "mabunhu", go unnoticed and unchallenged.

“BUMLER” – 20 YEARS OF “GOOD RIDDANCE”
This month marks the 20th anniversary of the death of one of the biggest ever rogues who was active in Southern Africa during the latter part of the Twentieth Century – Brendan Joseph Willmer, aka “Bumler”.
For those readers who cannot recall the wretched Willmer we suggest that they read the article “The Save Rhodesia Campaign – Why it failed”, which can be accessed at :-

But the neutering of the Save Rhodesia Campaign was not to be the only damage which Willmer caused to the patriotic movement in Southern Africa. Following the fall of Rhodesia in 1979 and the subsequent disbandment of the Save Rhodesia Campaign, Willmer tried to keep alive the South Africa First Campaign, even though by then the “Info’ Scandal” had been exposed and his funding from the Department of Information had dried up. In January 1980, however, it was discovered that the SRC/SAFC office in Cape Town had closed down and that Willmer had completely disappeared. Even more significant was the fact that all of the financial assets of both campaigns had disappeared with him – including the funds raised for a R100,000 reward to be offered to anyone who could bring the terrorist leader Joshua Nkomo to justice! A further disturbing revelation soon followed when it was revealed that Willmer had extorted over R10,000 (a considerable amount of money in those days) from a Mrs. H.H. Goodhind of Somerset West, and that her family were taking legal action to have it recovered!
It was subsequently discovered that Willmer had moved to Durban where he had taken a job working as a salesman for a controversial company which marketed car windscreen coating. The following year, however, Willmer re-entered politics by announcing that he was re-launching the South Africa First Campaign, though he soon changed the name of the organisation to the Civic Action League in order to concentrate upon local community politics. In so doing he shunned all those who he had previously worked with in Durban through the Save Rhodesia Campaign, and in spite of all his well-publicised financial misdemeanours in Cape Town he managed to obtain the support of many people who should have known better. Ever since the demise of the SRC the patriotic movement in Durban had coalesced and grown in strength around the local branches of the HNP, the White Rhino Club (Mark 1) and the magazine S.A.Patriot, but Willmer’s sinister emergence in the city establishing his own rival structure only served to split the local patriotic movement down the middle.
The most dumbfounding aspect of Willmer’s re-emergence was that the majority of his supporters seemed to be little old ladies of the “religious Right”, yet his own rampant homosexuality had become more and more overt and blatant – hence his nickname of “Bumler”. He would constantly be seen with his effete lover Johannes Blumenthal (who he euphemistically referred to as his “ward”), and if anyone was to say anything witty or profound in his company he would flick his wrist and say “Ooh! Get you ducky!” – surely a dead give-away for a homosexual! This however didn’t stop a certain Pastor Johan Smit falling under his spell. Smit ran a small charismatic church preaching quasi-British-Israelite theology on the Natal south coast, and indeed several of the little old ladies who followed him tended to be of similar British-Israelite persuasion. Such affiliations by Willmer were not altogether surprising however, as even during his SRC days he had peddled some very wacky conspiracy theories, which indeed had meant the loss of support of many campaign members who simply wished to do something active in the Real-World in order to help save Rhodesia, and not to be associated with any crazy conspiracy theories about “international finance” being the cause of all the world’s ills! The terrorist enemies of Rhodesia were after all backed by the communist Soviet block they argued, not by the capitalist West!
At the South African General Election of 1981 Willmer’s message to his gullible supporters was “Trust in Treurnicht, vote Nat’, and everything will be all right”. The HNP had originally planned to field two candidates in the Greater Durban area at this election, Piet van Rensburg in Umlazi and Owen Parvess in Umhlatuzana, but the withdrawal of support by Willmer’s supporters meant that Piet van Rensburg was not able to stand after all. Yes, Willmer had done his job extremely well!
The following year Dr. Andries Treurnicht finally broke away from the NP and founded the right-of-centre Conservative Party of South Africa. It was therefore with complete astonishment that it was announced that Willmer, in spite of all his well-documented financial chicanery of the past, had not only been admitted into membership of the new party, but had even been appointed to the national executive of the party! Inevitably this couldn’t last of course, and following “the case of the missing receipt book” (when it was suspected that he had collected far more funds for the party in Durban than he had revealed) he was dismissed from the party. He then went back to running his Civic Action League outfit, this time not only in rivalry to the HNP/S.A.Patriot, but also to the Conservative Party.
In 1984 a dramatic development occurred however, for it was discovered that Willmer was in South Africa illegally, he never having applied for South African citizenship and his temporary work permit being out of date, and after several appeals and much palaver he was eventually deported back to the UK. This outcome was of course greeted enthusiastically by mainstream patriotic activists in Durban, with much champagne literally being consumed in celebration. This joy certainly did not prove to be misplaced however, for almost immediately supporters of the HNP and the CP started to work together and to liaise increasingly closely. A new umbrella organisation, the Patriotic Forum (Mark 1), was formed to allow the two parties to operate on a common ground in Durban and indeed in Natal as a whole, and a new vibrant campaign, Action White Natal, was founded in order to oppose the KwaZulu/Natal Indaba sell-out proposals, which held a massive rally at the Durban City Hall and attracted nationwide media publicity. Even Arthur Morris, who had taken over control of the Civic Action League following Willmer’s deportation, started to co-operate well and to establish friendly links with the patriotic mainstream - though alas this was not the case with his wife Peggy who was one of Willmer’s little old ladies.
As the NP’s sell-out plans gathered pace during the late 1980s the patriotic movement in Natal grew in strength, probably at a faster rate than in any other part of the country in percentage terms. The Patriotic Forum gained increasing publicity and S.A.Patriot grew rapidly in readership and influence. Then alas disaster struck, for astonishingly the South African authorities granted Willmer citizenship and allowed him to return to the country! He immediately took over control of the Civic Action League again and all co-operation with the HNP and the CP once more ceased. More ominously he attempted to sue Patriotic Press for libel, and although this ridiculous action eventually came to nothing it did of course cost the organisation a tremendous amount in both time and money in order to defend themselves – and this at a most vital time in South Africa’s history when all efforts should have been concentrated upon opposing de Klerk’s treasonable plans. At a time when patriots should have been more united than ever before, opposition forces were thus alas totally divided once again – all due to the machinations of Brendan Joseph Willmer!
Following de Klerk’s notorious “Red Friday” speech of February 1990 those behind Patriotic Press decided that the best action to take was to relocate operations to the UK where they could operate with more freedom and hopefully with more effectiveness “in exile” – but Willmer apparently decided to embrace the new dispensation and remained in the “new” South Africa. Even more incredibly he attempted to stand to become a councillor in the newly multi-racial Durban City Council, but of course given the new dispensation he was predictably soundly defeated.
Brendan Joseph Willmer died from AIDS in December 1999, just a few days short of the Millennium. The world has now therefore been a far better place to live in for the past 20 years!

December 2019 edition
The forthcoming British General Election is probably one of the most important in history. This may sound like a cliché, but it is true nevertheless. It is not just that the speedy culmination of the Brexit process is at stake at this election – it is also because the prospect of such a despicable character as Jeremy Corbyn becoming Prime Minister is simply too ghastly to be contemplated.
Make no bones about it, Jeremy Corbyn is evil personified. He refers to the Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists as “his friends”, he acts as an apologist for SF/IRA terrorism, and he calls for the massive nationalisation of British industry – in other words theft! He quite clearly hates the nation which gave him birth, not only by refusing to respect its National Anthem and by none-too-subtle attacks against the Royal Family, but even more damningly by refusing to support his own country in the Wars against Islamic Terror. One is therefore left wondering why on earth he ever wishes to lead a country which he so obviously hates – unless it is simply in order to try to destroy that country!
To be sure, the only conceivable alternative as Prime Minister, the present Premier and Leader of the Conservative and Unionist Party Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, is not perfect, and we have a particular disagreement with him concerning the ridiculously high number of foreigners who he has appointed to his cabinet (as we criticised in the editorial of the August 2019 Edition of the SCN), but all his faults shade into insignificance when compared to the vile and treacherous nature of Corbyn.
We therefore have no hesitation in advocating full support for the Conservative and Unionist Party at the forthcoming British General Election. There may of course be certain seats in former coal-mining areas which the Conservative and Unionist Party has never won in living memory where support for UKIP or the Brexit Party is the better option, and many may also believe that in constituencies where the Conservative and Unionist Party has unwisely nominated foreign candidates or those who are openly sexual deviants where they cannot be supported, but such constituencies only make up a very small minority, so the general rule should still prevail.
In Northern Ireland, however, the situation is a lot more worrying. Unfortunately the DUP have taken a far too absolutist position on Brexit without seeming to realise that once Brexit has been achieved and Britain is once again an independent nation then all previous agreements with the EU can be altered – and as a result they have apparently lost the support of many more moderate Unionists. The only conceivable alternatives to the DUP are however either the SF/IRA terrorists themselves or their appeasers from the so-called Alliance Party, both of which are just as unacceptable as Corbyn is on the mainland. In spite of our criticism of the DUP’s absolutist stance we must still advocate full support for them in the Northern Ireland context therefore.
With hopefully a decisive victory for Boris Johnson on 12th December a glorious new dawn will then beckon for the British nation and its global diaspora. Once Brexit is completed, with no possibility of a “border down the Irish Sea” in reality, then further important matters should and must be tackled fast. The immigration/repatriation issue must be addressed in full, and the undemocratic bias displayed by both the judiciary and the media eliminated. Following this then a new golden age of British global destiny can once again be contemplated!

SPRINGBOK CLUB NEWS
The Springbok Club held a most enjoyable and enthralling meeting last month which celebrated the 54th anniversary of Rhodesian UDI. The guest speaker at this event was Mr. Neil Farnell who had initiated the famous 1976 Tour of Rhodesia by five (then) young British patriots who wished to show their solidarity with their Rhodesian kith and kin. Mr. Farnell gave a most riveting talk, which he illustrated with pictures and documents from the time, and in which he explained why from an early age, even though he had been born and brought up in a northern industrial town, he had felt strong empathy with the Rhodesian people and their struggle, and had wished to help them. He explained that he was in no way unique in Britain at the time in this respect, and that it had therefore not been difficult to gather together a touring party and to organize the trip. He then went on to give an account of the tour itself, telling how the tour party visited the Rhodesian Parliament where they met the Hon. Ian Douglas Smith, the Rhodesian Front HQ where they met “Boss” Lilford, and were interviewed by Harvey Ward on RTV. He also told a number of amusing anecdotes about their stays at Mrs. Timms’ Guest Houses, their trip in a ferry down Lake Kariba, some near-death experiences which they encountered in Hwange National Park, and their visit to “The Republic of Enkeldoorn”! Most importantly, however, he told of their most inspiring visit to the grave of Cecil John Rhodes at the Matopos, where due homage was paid.

Unfortunately it has not proved possible to stage a full “Raising of the Flag” ceremony this year as hoped, though it is planned to hold a symbolic “Unfurling of the Flag” ceremony in East Kent towards the end of December. We are still determined to stage the “Raising of the Flag” ceremony in its full traditional form during September 2020 however, so if anyone can help us by suggesting a suitable venue with an outside flagpole and both indoors and outdoors facilities then we would be most grateful.

John Browne served as Conservative MP for Winchester from 1979 to 1992 and was subsequently a Vice President of the UK Independence Party. A graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, he was a major in the Grenadiers of The Queen’s Royal guard, serving both as a pilot and as a parachutist. On public duties, he had responsibility for the pallbearers at the State Funeral of Sir Winston Churchill. He has a Master of Science degree from Cranfield Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard.
In Parliament John was elected Chairman of the Conservative Small Business Committee, appointed a Member of the powerful Treasury Select Committee and a Delegate to the North Atlantic Assembly, the political arm of NATO. “Denzel was found starving and badly affected by canine scabies (mange) while attempting to escape nasty children who were throwing stones at him. We rescued him and are paying for his care.
“Vanessa was rescued from an abusive home in a slum area. The owners had crushed her paw, and that of another dog so they couldn’t run away. We confiscated several animals found at the house.
“Chopin was dumped at the side of the road. We rescued him, are paying for his medical care and will help find him a good home.
“The areas where we found the dogs are extremely dangerous – our team has been threatened and shot at while rescuing dogs, but we will NEVER stop saving lives.
“There are now 350 dogs who live at the Fallen Angels shelter in South Africa’s Western Cape and we care for them all. As many as possible are re-homed.

ISRAEL FOLAU IS VICTORIOUS!
In the April 2019 Edition of the SCN we reported upon the fact that Israel Folau, the Australian Rugby Full-Back and a devout Christian, had had his contract terminated by Rugby Australia simply because he had made a posting on Instagram in which he had condemned eight groups of people who he considered sinners. Of these eight groups it was evidently only one which was objected to by Rugby Australia – homosexuals. Like many other commentators we registered our condemnation of Rugby Australia in this regard as it quite clearly infringed upon Israel Folau’s rights of free speech and religious conscience.
As a result Israel Folau took legal action against Rugby Australia for religious discrimination, and an out-of-court settlement was recently agreed upon involving an undisclosed damages payment and an assurance from Rugby Australia that Israel Folau would be eligible for selection for the national team once again. Together with all other supporters of free speech – be they Christians or not – we of course welcome this outcome, and trust that it will make sporting bodies around the world appreciate the widespread revulsion which exists regarding any pandering towards pro-perversion lobbies.
Following his earlier forthright comments condemning homosexuality Israel Folau has subsequently stated that he believes that the recent bush fires sweeping through eastern Australia were God’s punishment for Australia’s legalising of same-sex “marriages”. Although, to put it mildly, we do not exactly agree with Israel Folau about the cause of these bush fires, his theory is however perhaps a little more likely than some of the wilder claims made for their cause by certain man-made climate-change fanatics!

No.253 - Mr. DAVID STEAD of Durban
David Stead lived on the Bluff in Durban and had a distinguished career in the South African Air Force. He was a good supporter of the Save Rhodesia Campaign during the late 1970s, and following the formation of the Conservative Party of South Africa he joined the party and stood as their candidate at the Durban Municipal Elections of the early 1980s for one of the wards on the Bluff, though alas he was not victorious. He mysteriously disappeared from the scene shortly after this however, so it would therefore be very interesting to learn whatever happened to him.

Sir,
The SAPS and prosecutors are very quick to react against a White person using "hate speech", which now includes the "gratuitous display" of the previous national flag of South Africa (and probably flags of the pre-1902 Boer Republics too). I have such a flag on the rear window of my car bought in 1987. In 1994 I placed the current South African flag alongside it. I wonder if I will be prosecuted if I'm stopped at a police road block and accused of displaying "hate speech" on my car? We are yet to see just ONE Black person being prosecuted for using "hate speech", although multiple examples have been cited and published in the media.
Derogatory terms for Whites, especially White farmers, such as "mabunhu", go unnoticed and unchallenged.

“BUMLER” – 20 YEARS OF “GOOD RIDDANCE”
This month marks the 20th anniversary of the death of one of the biggest ever rogues who was active in Southern Africa during the latter part of the Twentieth Century – Brendan Joseph Willmer, aka “Bumler”.
For those readers who cannot recall the wretched Willmer we suggest that they read the article “The Save Rhodesia Campaign – Why it failed”, which can be accessed at :-

But the neutering of the Save Rhodesia Campaign was not to be the only damage which Willmer caused to the patriotic movement in Southern Africa. Following the fall of Rhodesia in 1979 and the subsequent disbandment of the Save Rhodesia Campaign, Willmer tried to keep alive the South Africa First Campaign, even though by then the “Info’ Scandal” had been exposed and his funding from the Department of Information had dried up. In January 1980, however, it was discovered that the SRC/SAFC office in Cape Town had closed down and that Willmer had completely disappeared. Even more significant was the fact that all of the financial assets of both campaigns had disappeared with him – including the funds raised for a R100,000 reward to be offered to anyone who could bring the terrorist leader Joshua Nkomo to justice! A further disturbing revelation soon followed when it was revealed that Willmer had extorted over R10,000 (a considerable amount of money in those days) from a Mrs. H.H. Goodhind of Somerset West, and that her family were taking legal action to have it recovered!
It was subsequently discovered that Willmer had moved to Durban where he had taken a job working as a salesman for a controversial company which marketed car windscreen coating. The following year, however, Willmer re-entered politics by announcing that he was re-launching the South Africa First Campaign, though he soon changed the name of the organisation to the Civic Action League in order to concentrate upon local community politics. In so doing he shunned all those who he had previously worked with in Durban through the Save Rhodesia Campaign, and in spite of all his well-publicised financial misdemeanours in Cape Town he managed to obtain the support of many people who should have known better. Ever since the demise of the SRC the patriotic movement in Durban had coalesced and grown in strength around the local branches of the HNP, the White Rhino Club (Mark 1) and the magazine S.A.Patriot, but Willmer’s sinister emergence in the city establishing his own rival structure only served to split the local patriotic movement down the middle.
The most dumbfounding aspect of Willmer’s re-emergence was that the majority of his supporters seemed to be little old ladies of the “religious Right”, yet his own rampant homosexuality had become more and more overt and blatant – hence his nickname of “Bumler”. He would constantly be seen with his effete lover Johannes Blumenthal (who he euphemistically referred to as his “ward”), and if anyone was to say anything witty or profound in his company he would flick his wrist and say “Ooh! Get you ducky!” – surely a dead give-away for a homosexual! This however didn’t stop a certain Pastor Johan Smit falling under his spell. Smit ran a small charismatic church preaching quasi-British-Israelite theology on the Natal south coast, and indeed several of the little old ladies who followed him tended to be of similar British-Israelite persuasion. Such affiliations by Willmer were not altogether surprising however, as even during his SRC days he had peddled some very wacky conspiracy theories, which indeed had meant the loss of support of many campaign members who simply wished to do something active in the Real-World in order to help save Rhodesia, and not to be associated with any crazy conspiracy theories about “international finance” being the cause of all the world’s ills! The terrorist enemies of Rhodesia were after all backed by the communist Soviet block they argued, not by the capitalist West!
At the South African General Election of 1981 Willmer’s message to his gullible supporters was “Trust in Treurnicht, vote Nat’, and everything will be all right”. The HNP had originally planned to field two candidates in the Greater Durban area at this election, Piet van Rensburg in Umlazi and Owen Parvess in Umhlatuzana, but the withdrawal of support by Willmer’s supporters meant that Piet van Rensburg was not able to stand after all. Yes, Willmer had done his job extremely well!
The following year Dr. Andries Treurnicht finally broke away from the NP and founded the right-of-centre Conservative Party of South Africa. It was therefore with complete astonishment that it was announced that Willmer, in spite of all his well-documented financial chicanery of the past, had not only been admitted into membership of the new party, but had even been appointed to the national executive of the party! Inevitably this couldn’t last of course, and following “the case of the missing receipt book” (when it was suspected that he had collected far more funds for the party in Durban than he had revealed) he was dismissed from the party. He then went back to running his Civic Action League outfit, this time not only in rivalry to the HNP/S.A.Patriot, but also to the Conservative Party.
In 1984 a dramatic development occurred however, for it was discovered that Willmer was in South Africa illegally, he never having applied for South African citizenship and his temporary work permit being out of date, and after several appeals and much palaver he was eventually deported back to the UK. This outcome was of course greeted enthusiastically by mainstream patriotic activists in Durban, with much champagne literally being consumed in celebration. This joy certainly did not prove to be misplaced however, for almost immediately supporters of the HNP and the CP started to work together and to liaise increasingly closely. A new umbrella organisation, the Patriotic Forum (Mark 1), was formed to allow the two parties to operate on a common ground in Durban and indeed in Natal as a whole, and a new vibrant campaign, Action White Natal, was founded in order to oppose the KwaZulu/Natal Indaba sell-out proposals, which held a massive rally at the Durban City Hall and attracted nationwide media publicity. Even Arthur Morris, who had taken over control of the Civic Action League following Willmer’s deportation, started to co-operate well and to establish friendly links with the patriotic mainstream - though alas this was not the case with his wife Peggy who was one of Willmer’s little old ladies.
As the NP’s sell-out plans gathered pace during the late 1980s the patriotic movement in Natal grew in strength, probably at a faster rate than in any other part of the country in percentage terms. The Patriotic Forum gained increasing publicity and S.A.Patriot grew rapidly in readership and influence. Then alas disaster struck, for astonishingly the South African authorities granted Willmer citizenship and allowed him to return to the country! He immediately took over control of the Civic Action League again and all co-operation with the HNP and the CP once more ceased. More ominously he attempted to sue Patriotic Press for libel, and although this ridiculous action eventually came to nothing it did of course cost the organisation a tremendous amount in both time and money in order to defend themselves – and this at a most vital time in South Africa’s history when all efforts should have been concentrated upon opposing de Klerk’s treasonable plans. At a time when patriots should have been more united than ever before, opposition forces were thus alas totally divided once again – all due to the machinations of Brendan Joseph Willmer!
Following de Klerk’s notorious “Red Friday” speech of February 1990 those behind Patriotic Press decided that the best action to take was to relocate operations to the UK where they could operate with more freedom and hopefully with more effectiveness “in exile” – but Willmer apparently decided to embrace the new dispensation and remained in the “new” South Africa. Even more incredibly he attempted to stand to become a councillor in the newly multi-racial Durban City Council, but of course given the new dispensation he was predictably soundly defeated.
Brendan Joseph Willmer died from AIDS in December 1999, just a few days short of the Millennium. The world has now therefore been a far better place to live in for the past 20 years!

This publication was of course very supportive of the candidature of Donald J. Trump during the 2016 US Presidential Election contest, and expressed great joy when he was victorious. During the first couple of years of Donald Trump’s Presidency we had nothing but praise for his policies and actions, notwithstanding his apparent willingness to appease the DPRK and certain other third-world tyrannies.
In particular we were highly delighted with the manner in which he pursued his election promise of building a wall along the Mexican border in order to keep out illegal Hispanic immigrants in spite of concerted efforts to frustrate this policy by Democratic Party and other liberal/leftist elements, and also by the fact that he was not afraid to tell certain foreign-descended Donkey Party congresswomen that they should go back where they came from! He has also been one of the few world leaders to at least acknowledge the current quasi-genocide campaign taking place against White farmers and inner-city dwellers in the “new” South Africa – even though he has alas taken no accompanying meaningful actions to remedy this situation.
In April of last year we were further heartened when Donald Trump appointed John Bolton as his National Security Advisor, as he had been greatly admired for his work and influence in the administration of President George W. Bush. This admiration for John Bolton was subsequently further heightened when it came to light that it had been he who had influenced the Trump administration to speak out against the quasi-genocide campaign taking place in the “new” South Africa, and furthermore by the revelations that he was advocating far less conciliatory stances in relations with the DPRK and threatening Middle-Eastern states.
Alas, however, over recent months all this seems to have changed, and the Trump Administration seems to have gone in a completely different direction. Last month he dismissed John Bolton as his National Security Advisor for no apparent reason, and shortly after this an even worse development occurred when he announced that he was withdrawing all US troops from Syria. Notwithstanding the fact that he subsequently sanctioned the elimination of the ISIS/ISIL terrorist leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, this gave all the wrong signals to anti-Western forces not only in the Middle-East, but indeed throughout the third-world. It meant a return to the terrifying bad old days of the Obama administration when non-intervention against threatening terrorist forces was the order of the day, and the resulting international instability meant that swarms of non-White migrants invaded the West.
When he took office Donald J. Trump promised to “Make America Great Again”, but alas this recent decision to withdraw US troops from Syria, and thus to allow ISIS/ISIL and their terrorist allies to flourish once more, has “Made America Puny Again”, not only in the eyes of the third-world minions, but also with his erstwhile friends and allies in the West. Already many leading GOP representatives have spoken out against this retrograde move, most notably Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. It is hoped of course that President Trump will be persuaded to reverse this neo-Obamaite policy of his, but if not it must be hoped that somehow the GOP manages to find an alternative Presidential candidate for 2020 who will be strong and forthright in standing up for the interests of the US and the West in general. There is already such a man waiting in the wings of course: John Bolton.

(Neil Farnell was born and educated at Nelson, Lancashire, though he has lived in Greater London for many years. He has enjoyed a very successful career in advertising, and is also a popular freelance writer and broadcaster, having written many acclaimed articles on global events, political science and national identity. It was he who initiated the famous Rhodesian Tour of 1976 when five [then] young British patriots and members of the Anglo-Rhodesian Society toured Rhodesia in order to express their solidarity with their Rhodesian kith-and-kin. In his talk, which will be illustrated by several items relating to the Rhodesian expedition, he will tell something about the tour, and also why he believes that the Rhodesian struggle should not be forgotten and still has relevance today.)

“The donkey genocide that is taking place is not only a massive tragedy for animals, it has a devastating effect on children. In Africa, people are poor and public transport is rare, so the people use donkeys to fetch water and wood and to take their children to school. If there are no donkeys, then the children can’t get to school and instead are used as child labour, carrying wood and water to remote villages.
”Yet this tragedy is being virtually ignored by many African governments. Kenya has even LEGALISED the trade and set up donkey slaughter-houses, where thousands of donkeys die each month. When donkeys are wiped out in one area, the slaughter-house closes and moves to another. Recently, a smuggling trade has erupted bringing donkeys from Ethiopia to Kenya.
”In South Africa, where lawlessness is common and police are corrupt and inefficient, the donkeys are bought on public auction and led into the bush, where impromptu, illegal slaughter-houses are set up and men, often drunk, hack the donkeys to death, while skinning them in their death agony.
“The only way this can be stopped is if enough people publicly condemn the Chinese donkey skin trade and persuade African governments to ban it. There are two important ways to do this :-.

RUGBY WORLD CUP DISASTER
The outcome of this year’s Rugby World Cup was not only surprising – it was disastrous!
Having been soundly beaten by the All Blacks in their first match of the tournament, and then having had a very easy run of matches up until the semi-final, the subsequent triumph by the “new” South African team can only be described as greatly unexpected. We are not trying to say that there was any skullduggery involved such as that which occurred in 1995, when several members of the All Blacks side suffered food poisoning shortly before the final, simply that because of the fixtures schedule it was a fluke.
Make no bones about it however, the “new” South African team represented the ruling ANC terrorist regime and not the country as a whole. They played under the flag and symbols of the ANC regime (indeed one player even grotesquely wore an ANC flag pair of underpants!) and they stood to attention for the nauseating ANC anthem – and as a result you can bet your bottom dollar that the ANC regime will milk this triumph for all the propaganda value which they can get!
All observers who take a close interest in South African affairs know that the country is now a basket-case and the crime capital of the world. A quasi-genocide campaign is being enacted there against White farmers and pensioners trapped in inner-city areas; corruption is endemic, and all forms of national infrastructure have collapsed. It has been difficult enough for overseas friends of South Africa to alert the powers-that-be to the true appalling conditions which now pertain in that sorry land, but now the inevitable response which they will receive when they try to explain what is actually happening there is “How can the situation in South Africa be as bad as you paint it when the country has been able to win the Rugby World Cup?”. All those who played for the “new” South Africa team (whether or not they wore ANC flag underpants!) and all those who supported the team should therefore be ashamed of themselves. It was like spitting on the graves of all those innocents who have been killed under ANC rule.

The Tasmania Branch of the Australian National Flag Association staged a splendid luncheon at the Parliament House in Hobart during September in order to celebrate the 118th anniversary of the Australian Flag being officially adopted. The guest speaker at this dazzling event was Senator Jonathon Duniam, the Assistant Minister for Forestry, Fisheries and Regional Tourism. The increasing growth and activism of organisations such as the Australian National Flag Association demonstrates clearly that patriotic sentiments and pride in their British heritage is firmly on the ascendancy in Australia.

HNP DEFIANTLY MAINTAINS STRUGGLE
Although the age of meaningful White politics in South Africa is long since over, the HNP, which valiantly opposed the steady sell-out and surrender of South Africa by successive NP governments throughout the 1970s and 80s, has still maintained a functioning structure. In spite of the popular conception that the HNP was anti-English because of its “Afrikaans first” policy when it came to official languages, it was our experience when we were still based in South Africa that the party fully supported White unity, and indeed we received nothing but friendship from them during the early and mid-1980s. In a recent Media Release which the party issued blasting the ANC regime’s attempts to ban the real South African flag – “die Oranje, Blanje en Blou” – they gave their full backing to the continuing use of the real flag, a flag beloved to both Afrikaners and British-South Africans alike. LATEST SWEDISH NEWS
An article in The Daily Telegraph of 4th November states that the Sweden Democrats party is “within a hair’s breadth” of becoming the biggest political force in Sweden. Our very good friend and supporter from Sweden, Lars Karnestam, who sadly died earlier this year (see obituary in the September 2019 SCN) was of course a founding member of the Sweden Democrats and remained a keen supporter of the party until his untimely death. Lars told us a few years back, however, that he was very keen to forge links with another patriotic centre-right party in Sweden, the Christian Democrats, and it was thus of extra interest to read in the Daily Telegraph article that “a working lunch” had taken place between the leaders of the Sweden Democrats and leaders of the Christian Democrats. It seems therefore that all of Lars’s great efforts over the years are now bearing spectacular fruits, and it is just a tragedy that he isn’t still alive to witness them.

Ms. P.K. Walters came into contact with Patriotic Press and the original Patriotic Forum when we were still based in Durban during the late 1980. Only knowing her initials through correspondence we presumed that she was male – until she came along to one of our meetings and we realised our mistake! She was a relatively young woman and seemed very keen, but alas before we could really get to know her we were forced to leave South Africa. She lived in the Greyville area of Durban, and it would certainly be good to make contact with her again.

Sir,
Your obituary to George Hazelden in your August 2011 Edition was admirable, but I fear that the praise which you gave him was very misplaced. As you accurately stated, Hazelden had earlier been a stalwart of the National Front in Great Britain, a party which at the time (before the neo-fascists took over) was best known for its pro-British and pro-White-solidarity policies – firmly opposing non-White immigration and advocating friendlier ties with our kith-and-kin in Southern Africa. Hazelden furthermore stated that his intention in emigrating to South Africa was in order to do his bit to support the South African struggle to preserve civilised rule and the system of separate development which was then operating – as indeed was the intention of many other National Front activists who similarly emigrated to South Africa at the same time.
I have however recently come across an article about Hazelden entitled “Back to the Wall” which appeared in the Sunday Telegraph Magazine of 4th July 1999, which concerned his scheme to create a “walled city” just outside Somerset West called Heritage Park. In this article Hazelden is quoted as saying about his desired residents of Heritage Park: “The only colour we care about is the colour of people’s money”, and furthermore refers to an ANC terrorist leader as “a wonderful guy”. He also evidently subsequently invited an ANC official to open the first phase of Heritage Park and was grovellingly obsequious towards him!
Quite obviously therefore Hazelden was either a phony when he was active in the National Front during the 1970s (and don’t forget that he wasn’t just an ordinary member, he was Branch Chairman of one of the most dynamic branches in the country and stood as NF Parliamentary candidate for Rochester and Chatham at the October 1974 General Election), or else he became a complete turncoat. In either case he proved to be a complete traitor to the cause which he claimed to espouse. His name should therefore be remembered – if it should be remembered at all – with complete odium.

PENSION PLAN

The government of Southern Rhodesia donated the assets of the Public Service Pensions Fund to the UK government at the end of WWII to assist their recovery. In doing so, government undertook to pay pensioners from public funds. Zimbabwe government public service pensioners are now paid as and when it suits the government. The last payment to some Zimbabwe government public service pensioners in South Africa was made in November 2017 (after Mnangagwa replaced Mugabe as President). The next payment was only made in August 2019, when forex was allocated by the Reserve Bank.

THE SPEAKING TOUR OF SOUTH AFRICA BY AN ANTI-COMMUNIST RUSSIAN
Around 1989/90, when we were still based in South Africa, we were contacted by a lady who we’d had no contact with previously who was orchestrating a speaking tour of South Africa by an Anti-Communist Russian, who asked if we could organise for the Durban leg of this tour. The lady in question sent us an audio-recording of a talk given by this Russian and we were highly impressed (particularly by his opening remark when he greeted everyone with the phrase “My fellow Capitalists!”), and so we readily agreed to help, booking a venue in Durban for him to speak at accordingly.
Unfortunately, of course, this was the time of de Klerk’s final sell-out of South Africa, and we were suffering badly accordingly – both financially and personally. As a result when the date of the scheduled Durban leg of this speaking tour came we were in absolutely no position to be able to assist as we had originally hoped and promised. We did however see by adverts in the Natal press that the Durban leg was definitely still taking place.
Needless to say, the fact that we had to let this lady down so upset us badly and made us feel extremely guilty. Following our enforced re-location to the UK shortly thereafter we alas could find no trace of the name or the contact details of this lady – nor even the name of the Russian speaker. Once we were able to re-establish ourselves fully a couple of years later we tried to discover her name and address through colleagues still living in South Africa so that we could write to her to apologise, but alas to no avail.
A short while ago we were reminded about this speaking tour however, so we thought that we would therefore ask readers of the SCN if anyone knew who this lady was and how she could now be contacted. In spite of all the years which have elapsed we would still very much like to write to her to explain all the problems which had befallen us which meant that we had to let her down so badly. If anyone can help in this regard so that we can get this embarrassing memory off our conscience then we would be most grateful.

November 2019 edition
This publication was of course very supportive of the candidature of Donald J. Trump during the 2016 US Presidential Election contest, and expressed great joy when he was victorious. During the first couple of years of Donald Trump’s Presidency we had nothing but praise for his policies and actions, notwithstanding his apparent willingness to appease the DPRK and certain other third-world tyrannies.
In particular we were highly delighted with the manner in which he pursued his election promise of building a wall along the Mexican border in order to keep out illegal Hispanic immigrants in spite of concerted efforts to frustrate this policy by Democratic Party and other liberal/leftist elements, and also by the fact that he was not afraid to tell certain foreign-descended Donkey Party congresswomen that they should go back where they came from! He has also been one of the few world leaders to at least acknowledge the current quasi-genocide campaign taking place against White farmers and inner-city dwellers in the “new” South Africa – even though he has alas taken no accompanying meaningful actions to remedy this situation.
In April of last year we were further heartened when Donald Trump appointed John Bolton as his National Security Advisor, as he had been greatly admired for his work and influence in the administration of President George W. Bush. This admiration for John Bolton was subsequently further heightened when it came to light that it had been he who had influenced the Trump administration to speak out against the quasi-genocide campaign taking place in the “new” South Africa, and furthermore by the revelations that he was advocating far less conciliatory stances in relations with the DPRK and threatening Middle-Eastern states.
Alas, however, over recent months all this seems to have changed, and the Trump Administration seems to have gone in a completely different direction. Last month he dismissed John Bolton as his National Security Advisor for no apparent reason, and shortly after this an even worse development occurred when he announced that he was withdrawing all US troops from Syria. Notwithstanding the fact that he subsequently sanctioned the elimination of the ISIS/ISIL terrorist leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, this gave all the wrong signals to anti-Western forces not only in the Middle-East, but indeed throughout the third-world. It meant a return to the terrifying bad old days of the Obama administration when non-intervention against threatening terrorist forces was the order of the day, and the resulting international instability meant that swarms of non-White migrants invaded the West.
When he took office Donald J. Trump promised to “Make America Great Again”, but alas this recent decision to withdraw US troops from Syria, and thus to allow ISIS/ISIL and their terrorist allies to flourish once more, has “Made America Puny Again”, not only in the eyes of the third-world minions, but also with his erstwhile friends and allies in the West. Already many leading GOP representatives have spoken out against this retrograde move, most notably Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. It is hoped of course that President Trump will be persuaded to reverse this neo-Obamaite policy of his, but if not it must be hoped that somehow the GOP manages to find an alternative Presidential candidate for 2020 who will be strong and forthright in standing up for the interests of the US and the West in general. There is already such a man waiting in the wings of course: John Bolton.

(Neil Farnell was born and educated at Nelson, Lancashire, though he has lived in Greater London for many years. He has enjoyed a very successful career in advertising, and is also a popular freelance writer and broadcaster, having written many acclaimed articles on global events, political science and national identity. It was he who initiated the famous Rhodesian Tour of 1976 when five [then] young British patriots and members of the Anglo-Rhodesian Society toured Rhodesia in order to express their solidarity with their Rhodesian kith-and-kin. In his talk, which will be illustrated by several items relating to the Rhodesian expedition, he will tell something about the tour, and also why he believes that the Rhodesian struggle should not be forgotten and still has relevance today.)

RUGBY WORLD CUP DISASTER
The outcome of this year’s Rugby World Cup was not only surprising – it was disastrous!
Having been soundly beaten by the All Blacks in their first match of the tournament, and then having had a very easy run of matches up until the semi-final, the subsequent triumph by the “new” South African team can only be described as greatly unexpected. We are not trying to say that there was any skullduggery involved such as that which occurred in 1995, when several members of the All Blacks side suffered food poisoning shortly before the final, simply that because of the fixtures schedule it was a fluke.
Make no bones about it however, the “new” South African team represented the ruling ANC terrorist regime and not the country as a whole. They played under the flag and symbols of the ANC regime (indeed one player even grotesquely wore an ANC flag pair of underpants!) and they stood to attention for the nauseating ANC anthem – and as a result you can bet your bottom dollar that the ANC regime will milk this triumph for all the propaganda value which they can get!
All observers who take a close interest in South African affairs know that the country is now a basket-case and the crime capital of the world. A quasi-genocide campaign is being enacted there against White farmers and pensioners trapped in inner-city areas; corruption is endemic, and all forms of national infrastructure have collapsed. It has been difficult enough for overseas friends of South Africa to alert the powers-that-be to the true appalling conditions which now pertain in that sorry land, but now the inevitable response which they will receive when they try to explain what is actually happening there is “How can the situation in South Africa be as bad as you paint it when the country has been able to win the Rugby World Cup?”. All those who played for the “new” South Africa team (whether or not they wore ANC flag underpants!) and all those who supported the team should therefore be ashamed of themselves. It was like spitting on the graves of all those innocents who have been killed under ANC rule.

The Tasmania Branch of the Australian National Flag Association staged a splendid luncheon at the Parliament House in Hobart during September in order to celebrate the 118th anniversary of the Australian Flag being officially adopted. The guest speaker at this dazzling event was Senator Jonathon Duniam, the Assistant Minister for Forestry, Fisheries and Regional Tourism. The increasing growth and activism of organisations such as the Australian National Flag Association demonstrates clearly that patriotic sentiments and pride in their British heritage is firmly on the ascendancy in Australia.

HNP DEFIANTLY MAINTAINS STRUGGLE
Although the age of meaningful White politics in South Africa is long since over, the HNP, which valiantly opposed the steady sell-out and surrender of South Africa by successive NP governments throughout the 1970s and 80s, has still maintained a functioning structure. In spite of the popular conception that the HNP was anti-English because of its “Afrikaans first” policy when it came to official languages, it was our experience when we were still based in South Africa that the party fully supported White unity, and indeed we received nothing but friendship from them during the early and mid-1980s. In a recent Media Release which the party issued blasting the ANC regime’s attempts to ban the real South African flag – “die Oranje, Blanje en Blou” – they gave their full backing to the continuing use of the real flag, a flag beloved to both Afrikaners and British-South Africans alike. LATEST SWEDISH NEWS
An article in The Daily Telegraph of 4th November states that the Sweden Democrats party is “within a hair’s breadth” of becoming the biggest political force in Sweden. Our very good friend and supporter from Sweden, Lars Karnestam, who sadly died earlier this year (see obituary in the September 2019 SCN) was of course a founding member of the Sweden Democrats and remained a keen supporter of the party until his untimely death. Lars told us a few years back, however, that he was very keen to forge links with another patriotic centre-right party in Sweden, the Christian Democrats, and it was thus of extra interest to read in the Daily Telegraph article that “a working lunch” had taken place between the leaders of the Sweden Democrats and leaders of the Christian Democrats. It seems therefore that all of Lars’s great efforts over the years are now bearing spectacular fruits, and it is just a tragedy that he isn’t still alive to witness them.

Ms. P.K. Walters came into contact with Patriotic Press and the original Patriotic Forum when we were still based in Durban during the late 1980. Only knowing her initials through correspondence we presumed that she was male – until she came along to one of our meetings and we realised our mistake! She was a relatively young woman and seemed very keen, but alas before we could really get to know her we were forced to leave South Africa. She lived in the Greyville area of Durban, and it would certainly be good to make contact with her again.

Sir,
Your obituary to George Hazelden in your August 2011 Edition was admirable, but I fear that the praise which you gave him was very misplaced. As you accurately stated, Hazelden had earlier been a stalwart of the National Front in Great Britain, a party which at the time (before the neo-fascists took over) was best known for its pro-British and pro-White-solidarity policies – firmly opposing non-White immigration and advocating friendlier ties with our kith-and-kin in Southern Africa. Hazelden furthermore stated that his intention in emigrating to South Africa was in order to do his bit to support the South African struggle to preserve civilised rule and the system of separate development which was then operating – as indeed was the intention of many other National Front activists who similarly emigrated to South Africa at the same time.
I have however recently come across an article about Hazelden entitled “Back to the Wall” which appeared in the Sunday Telegraph Magazine of 4th July 1999, which concerned his scheme to create a “walled city” just outside Somerset West called Heritage Park. In this article Hazelden is quoted as saying about his desired residents of Heritage Park: “The only colour we care about is the colour of people’s money”, and furthermore refers to an ANC terrorist leader as “a wonderful guy”. He also evidently subsequently invited an ANC official to open the first phase of Heritage Park and was grovellingly obsequious towards him!
Quite obviously therefore Hazelden was either a phony when he was active in the National Front during the 1970s (and don’t forget that he wasn’t just an ordinary member, he was Branch Chairman of one of the most dynamic branches in the country and stood as NF Parliamentary candidate for Rochester and Chatham at the October 1974 General Election), or else he became a complete turncoat. In either case he proved to be a complete traitor to the cause which he claimed to espouse. His name should therefore be remembered – if it should be remembered at all – with complete odium.

PENSION PLAN
Sir,
The government of Southern Rhodesia donated the assets of the Public Service Pensions Fund to the UK government at the end of WWII to assist their recovery. In doing so, government undertook to pay pensioners from public funds. Zimbabwe government public service pensioners are now paid as and when it suits the government. The last payment to some Zimbabwe government public service pensioners in South Africa was made in November 2017 (after Mnangagwa replaced Mugabe as President). The next payment was only made in August 2019, when forex was allocated by the Reserve Bank.

THE SPEAKING TOUR OF SOUTH AFRICA BY AN ANTI-COMMUNIST RUSSIAN
Around 1989/90, when we were still based in South Africa, we were contacted by a lady who we’d had no contact with previously who was orchestrating a speaking tour of South Africa by an Anti-Communist Russian, who asked if we could organise for the Durban leg of this tour. The lady in question sent us an audio-recording of a talk given by this Russian and we were highly impressed (particularly by his opening remark when he greeted everyone with the phrase “My fellow Capitalists!”), and so we readily agreed to help, booking a venue in Durban for him to speak at accordingly.
Unfortunately, of course, this was the time of de Klerk’s final sell-out of South Africa, and we were suffering badly accordingly – both financially and personally. As a result when the date of the scheduled Durban leg of this speaking tour came we were in absolutely no position to be able to assist as we had originally hoped and promised. We did however see by adverts in the Natal press that the Durban leg was definitely still taking place.
Needless to say, the fact that we had to let this lady down so upset us badly and made us feel extremely guilty. Following our enforced re-location to the UK shortly thereafter we alas could find no trace of the name or the contact details of this lady – nor even the name of the Russian speaker. Once we were able to re-establish ourselves fully a couple of years later we tried to discover her name and address through colleagues still living in South Africa so that we could write to her to apologise, but alas to no avail.
A short while ago we were reminded about this speaking tour however, so we thought that we would therefore ask readers of the SCN if anyone knew who this lady was and how she could now be contacted. In spite of all the years which have elapsed we would still very much like to write to her to explain all the problems which had befallen us which meant that we had to let her down so badly. If anyone can help in this regard so that we can get this embarrassing memory off our conscience then we would be most grateful.
