July 2026 Edition
Ever since the advanced first-world nation of South Africa was transformed into the third-world failed state of the “new” South Africa the country has been very much off of the international media’s radar. To be sure, there have been occasions like the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the massive rioting and looting which took place following the deposing of president Jacob Zuma when the country once again made global headlines, but of the whole the world’s liberal establishments who did so much to ensure that the “new” South Africa came into being have kept quiet about the disaster which has ensued.
Now all this has suddenly changed as resentment against foreign migrants from elsewhere on the African continent escalates. This resentment has not been forthcoming from the “new” South African government however, but rather from the grass-roots minions of the traditional South African tribes – particularly the Zulus. Two main protest groupings have emerged, both Zulu dominated, “Operation Dudula” in the populus Witwatersrand area and the “March and March” movement in KwaZulu/Natal. Many leading figures involved in these protests seem to be related to, or closely connected to, former president Jacob Zuma, but the main figurehead in KwaZulu/Natal is Ngizwe Mchunu, a scion of another branch of the Zulu tribal hierarchy.
A deadline of 30th June was given by the protest groups for all illegal foreigners to leave the country, but inevitably this deadline passed with very few of the foreign immigrants having returned to their homelands – neither voluntarily nor under coercion from the government. The resulting mayhem has therefore been unsurprising, with widescale murders and violent attacks upon areas where the foreign migrants have congregated. [One area where there has evidently been a particularly violent confrontation against foreign migrants has been on the grounds surrounding Sherwood Hall in Durban – ironically a venue which was used to hold meetings by both the National Forum and the White Rhino Club during the 1970s and 1980s, organisations which were in the forefront of the struggle to maintain civilised rule in South Africa, and out of which the magazine S.A,Patriot sprung!].
The reason why the “new” South Africa has become such a magnet for so many foreigners is because it was the first part of Africa to be settled by first-world nations and remained a civilised country for the next 340 years, with much of the infrastructure of this civilisation remaining in place even after it was transformed into a third-world state, whereas the rest of sub-Saharan Africa slipped back into the stone age far more rapidly. Is it any wonder therefore that the “huddled masses” from north of the Limpopo swarmed south once they saw that no effective border controls were in place? Is it any wonder also that the native tribes of South Africa resented these newcomers free-loading off the ever-diminishing financial resources remaining in their own lands?
The biggest irony however us that whilst Black South Africans are being forceful in advocating the removal of these foreign immigrants with hardly a murmur from the international liberal establishment, when White Europeans are equally forthright in demanding the removal of far more incompatible foreigners from their shores then they are immediately subject to a vilification campaign from the same international liberal establishment. How bizarre it would therefore be if the actions of Black South Africans act as an effective precedent causing the repatriation of their fellow-Blacks from the European continent, and from other Western lands!

SPRINGBOK CLUB NEWS
The Springbok Club staged a most enjoyable visit to the Westminster Jewel Tower last month, which proved to be a well attended and highly fascinating event. The Jewell Tower was built in 1365 and provided three important functions for the English and then British state over the following 650 years, being successively a repository for valuable possessions of the Royal Household, a Parliamentary records office and finally a testing venue for the Board of Trade’s Standards Department, determining the definitive value of weights and measures for Britain and its Empire. Following this visit the Springbok Club party adjourned to a near-by hostelry for a most convivial and fruitful conclusion of a most memorable day.

The Springbok Club will be holding a second Country Pub Walk on Saturday 25th July, the route having been chosen after detailed research by Alan Williamson. This will be a circular meander through Essex which will be five and a half miles long with two pubs to visit, taking in Earls Colne and Chappel. It is described as :-
‘A lovely walk across farmland and through woodland in the delightful Colne River valley, affording a variety of vistas’.
If time permits a visit to the East Anglia Railway Museum at Chappel right next to the railway station could be made.

The organisation’s most important forthcoming event will of course be this year’s “Raising of the Flag” ceremony, which is scheduled to be held near Newbury in Berkshire on Saturday 12th September. A most prominent personality will be present who will address the gathering after the traditional ceremonies have been completed. All members and supporters of the Springbok Club will of course be notified of the precise details of this year’s ceremony in due course.

PATRIOTIC FORUM NEWS
Following the Patriotic Forum’s successful Empire Day meeting which was addressed by Mr. Edward Spalton, the Honorary President of the Campaign for an Independent Britain, the organisation plans to stage a number of further interesting meetings before the end of the year to be addressed by a sitting county councillor, a representative from a leading EuroSceptic organisation and a visiting Australian supporter in the near future. Further details will of course be given in future editions of the SCN.

OPPOSITION TO “ISLAMIC STATE OF AFRICA” REGISTRATION
The Dear South Africa on-line newsletter has recently drawn attention to a most disturbing development in the “new” South Africa. Its report reads as follows :-
“The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) recently asked the public to comment on the potential registration of a new political party called the Islamic State of Africa (ISA).
“The controversial Farhad Hoomer – who was accused of terrorism and identified as the leader of a local ISIS cell and hit with sanctions by the United States – has applied to register his own political party: the Islamic State of Africa (ISA).
“He said the party wanted to “bring back Sharia law” and was hopeful it would appear on the ballot in the 2026 municipal elections. Although he said the plan was for the party to contest only at a municipal level next year, Hoomer did not rule out the prospect of one day becoming the president of South Africa.
“Hoomer made headlines in 2018 when he was arrested and charged with various crimes, including offences under the Protection of Constitutional Democracy against Terrorist and Related Activities Act. This was in connection with a deadly attack at the Imam Hussain Mosque in Verulam, north of Durban, during which local mechanic Shaheed Abbas Essop was killed after his throat was slit. Two others were also stabbed but survived.”

CRICKET POWER MOVES TO THE EAUROPEAN CONTINENT
We have observed in the past how dominance in international cricket has changed over the years, and two recent events have tended to confirm the growing strength of the game in Europe. Firstly for the first time ever two teams from continental Europe competed in this year’s World T20 Tournament in India – the Netherlands and Italy. This means that together with the three British Isles teams there were five European sides competing this year, and all of them won at least one match! Secondly the previously all-conquering Indian T20 team lost all six of their completed matches during their recent tour of the British Isles – two against Ireland and four against England. Of course these recent European successes only applied to T20 Cricket, but it might not be long before we see Ireland playing the Netherlands in a major world final!

No.332: Ms. Jane A’Court of Bristol and Durban
Jane A’Court was born in Bristol, but moved to Durban during the late 1970s. She was an attractive and very friendly person and an expert computer programmer, working for Unilever. She was not known to have married, but she had many male suitors, so it is therefore very probable that she eventually married and so now has a different surname. She was a keen supporter of Bristol City F.C., always emphasising that she was no relation to Alan A’Court, the Liverpool England winger, and she was also a keen race-goer. It would be very interesting to learn what became of her and where she is now.

31 YEARS OF HURT
Sir,
In the editorial of the June 2025 SCN you stated:-
“It must also always be remembered and emphasised that it is not only against the Afrikaner farming community that the ANC’s hate-campaign has been directed, but against ALL White South Africans. Afrikaners and British-South Africans have been suffering together, and so they must also resist and fight-back together as well!”
What to me is abundantly clear is that the ANC are executing the classic communist strategy: Terrorise the people off the land - and out of the country - and it is all yours. I doubt if the ANC has the wherewithal to figure this out for themselves. Cosying up to Russia, China and Iran and doing Iran’s bidding against Israel in the ICJ says it all. They expect [and hope] their big bothers to come their rescue when things get tough
I digress: Remember Trump’s offer of sanctuary was to all minorities in South Africa. Do not forget the Coloureds - who speak Afrikaans - and the Indians - who speak English - in your comments. They, plus Afrikaans and English-speaking Whites are now all in the same 20% boat. We have to stand together as the ANC, MK, and EFF are clearly the enemy.
A bit of research: Julius Malema is a very vocal advocate - for what? I have listened to his speeches and the only point he seems to make is: “Whites are evil oppressors - take back the land they stole from us”. Which land? Johannesburg ORT Airport? Durban Harbour? Cape Town Railway Station? All the industrial estates throughout South Africa? No. It is the White man’s houses. Why are they not capable of building their own houses on their own land? I have heard nothing of substance - unless you include nationalisation of banks - in his rhetoric.
Thabo Mbeki promised us “an African Renaissance” with the coming of the ANC. Well, after 31 years of incompetence it is clearly there for all to see. For the record I note that Malema comes from Pietersburg in Lebowa, a member of the Sepedi/North Sotho group who represent 9% of the South African population. So the little man has discovered his talent as nothing more than a soap box orator - "in the land of the blind the one eyed man is King”, however he is still a dangerous street-wise operator that needs to be monitored. Best defence right now is not to give him public air-time.
My 10c worth for the day. I keep listening to YouTube podcasters Rob Hersov, Col. Chris Wyatt, Ernst Roets, Willem Petzer and Ronaldo Gouws for common sense monitoring of events in South Africa.

I recall it stayed in the news for a few days and was then memory-holed.
