April 2006 edition
Although on the face of it South Africa did well at the recent Commonwealth Games - their gold medal tally increased from 9 at Manchester in 2002 to 12 at Melbourne - a closer inspection of the results shows that the outcome was not nearly so rosy.
South Africa's total medal haul declined from 46 at Manchester to only 38 at Melbourne, and perhaps even more significantly far fewer South African competitors (of all colours) seemed to reach the finals. Quite clearly therefore, although South Africa may still possess a number of world-class sportsmen and women ("Apartheid's Children" as we referred to them in S.A.Patriot-in-Exile No.35), they no longer have quality in depth. This is further confirmed by the fact that a very high percentage of their medal winners are now based and train in the United States. Quite clearly therefore the breakdown in law and order and collapse of national infrastructure in the "new" South Africa has had a devastating effect upon the country's sporting prowess.
Be this as it may, this year's Commonwealth Games proved a magnificent success, and the Australian authorities are to be congratulated upon organising such a memorable spectacle. The Games truly lived up to their nickname of the "Friendly Games", as there was a spirit of fraternity among the brother nations of the Empire and Commonwealth which is rarely witnessed in other global sporting events. Although just a few decades ago it was predicted that Black African and other third world countries would take over the competition this has clearly not occurred, and indeed only India (with an eye to hosting the 2010 Games) was able to challenge the dominance of the White dominions of the core Commonwealth in the medal table.
It has been suggested that for future Commonwealth Games Australia should be allowed to compete on a state-by-state basis because of their current overwhelming dominance in most events. This we believe would be an excellent idea, for after all Britain already competes under its various component parts rather than on a national basis. At the recent joint Springbok Club/London Swinton Circle meeting which was addressed by Paula Adamick it was suggested that a Commonwealth Winter Games should be inaugurated. The only objection to this proposal was that Canada would be overwhelmingly dominant - but if Canada could compete on a provincial basis in such a proposed event then this objection could certainly be overcome.
Although there are other far more important reasons why we advocate a return to civilised rule in South Africa, it would also undoubtedly mean that South Africa could regain her former sporting excellence, and in future Commonwealth Games (hopefully renamed the Empire and Commonwealth Games!) would once more be able to challenge the likes of Australia, England and Canada at the top of the medal table!

JOINT MEETINGS
The Springbok Club/Empire Loyalist Club joined forces with the London Swinton Circle under the umbrella banner of the Patriotic Forum to stage two most interesting and successful meetings last month.
At the first meeting the guest speaker was Mrs. Paula Adamick, the Managing Editor of the London-based Canadian expatriate newspaper "The Canada Post". Mrs. Adamick, who was accompanied by her husband Dennis, gave a highly informative talk about the recent Canadian General Election, and her opinions of what the future holds for Canada under the new Conservative government of Stephen Harper. She emphasised that Canada faces many of the same problems which Britain currently confronts, but was optimistic that under the new administration the situation would gradually improve. In this regard she was of the opinion that closer and friendlier relations would be established with both Britain and the United States, and that Canada's commitment to fighting the War against Terrorism would be increased. In this regard she told how one of Stephen Harper's first actions as Prime Minister was to visit Canadian troops in Afghanistan - and how a branch of Tim Hopkin's Donuts had recently been opened for the troops stationed there!
At the second meeting the guest speaker was Mr. Bob Vinnicombe, a leading member of the Australian "One Nation" party from New South Wales. Mr. Vinnicombe gave a thorough overview of the immigration problems currently being faced by Australia - particularly regarding Lebanese Muslims. He then went on to tell how young Australians were standing up to be counted on this issue by physically confronting Lebanese hooligans (who had been threatening and insulting White women, and attacking White lifeguards) at Cronulla Beach. He furthermore told how the Australian flag was increasingly being used as a defiant symbol against non-European immigration by Australians, and how Prof. Andrew Fraser of MacQuarie University had not been afraid to voice open criticism of the abandonment of the White Australia policy.

APRIL SPRINGBOK CLUB/EMPIRE LOYALIST CLUB EVENT
On Saturday 29th April the SC/ELC will be staging a visit to the Bishop's Stortford Museum in Hertfordshire, which includes a special section devoted to Cecil John Rhodes, which is housed in the very building where the great man was born in 1853. The Springbok Club previously visited this museum in January 2000, but since then it has evidently been considerably enhanced and expanded. The 2000 trip proved to be a highly enjoyable event, and it is hoped that for this subsequent visit even more supporters will participate.
Those travelling from London should aim to catch the 12.28 hrs train from Liverpool Street Station (if missed then the 12.55 hrs), and to rendezvous in front of the relevant platform at Liverpool Street between 12.00 hrs and 12.20 hrs. This train should arrive at Bishop's Stortford Station at 13.12 hrs (the alternative at 13.32 hrs), so all those travelling from north of London should arrange to rendezvous with the rest of the party accordingly.

FUTURE SPRINGBOK CLUB/EMPIRE LOYALIST CLUB ACTIVITIES
Towards the end of May the SC/ELC will be staging its annual Empire Day celebrations and buffet in central London, at which a most interesting Guest of Honour will be present. Fuller details will be announced in next month's SCN.
In July the SC/ELC will be staging a buffet to celebrate Rhodes and Founders Day (which will replace the former annual UDI Day Dinner following all the disasters of last year) at which it is anticipated welcoming a prominent Rhodesian as Guest of Honour.
In August the SC/ELC will be staging a meeting at which a visiting Australian patriot and long-standing supporter of the movement will be guest speaker.

The Northern Ireland Branch of the SC/ELC is going from strength to strength, and indeed is setting an excellent example which hopefully other branches will soon be following. The Kent Branch of the SC/ELC staged a small but very fruitful get-together at "The Ash Tree" in Gillingham last month, and hopefully will be organising another similar event in a few months time.
The London Branch of the SC/ELC are optimistic that they have now finalised a regular venue where informal monthly social get-togethers can take place in future. Fuller details will be given in next month's SCN. The Branch still anticipates holding a meeting at which one of their leading members will give a talk on early Anglo-Saxon history later during the summer. LONDON SWINTON CIRCLE NEWS
The London Swinton Circle staged an interesting meeting last month at which the guest speaker was the Rev. Philip Foster from St.Matthew Publishing of Cambridge. In his speech the Rev. Foster tried to expose EU and UN machinations to use the climate-change debate in order to advance their own sinister purposes.

DON'T LET THE LONDON WHALE DIE IN VAIN
A two-ton endangered Northern Bottlenose Whale recently caused an international sensation when it swam up the Thames. Sadly it finally succumbed to its difficult journey as rescuers tried to transport it by barge back to the open seas.
But despite its loss this great mammal has given us an excellent opportunity to remind the world about the terrible cruelty currently being inflicted on whales by Japan’s horrific whaling campaign in the Antarctic - if we act now.
Currently Japan is killing nearly 1,000 whales per year in an internationally recognised sanctuary in Antarctica. The cruelty of this slaughter is staggering – recent film footage of the Japanese whaling operations shows whales impaled by grenade-tipped harpoons suffering for long periods after they are struck.
The UK recently joined a 17-nation diplomatic protest (demarche) to Japan, strongly urging Japan to cease killing whales in the name of "science". Alas, however, previous demarches signed by the UK have had no effect whatsoever. If the UK government is serious in its efforts to protect whales then a higher level of commitment from the British government is essential to stop Japan’s efforts to increase whaling further.
With whales in the public spotlight as a result of the Thames whale, now is the time to ask Prime Minister Blair to take a more active role in ensuring that Japan’s evil whaling programme is halted. Whaling in the name of science is a sham – whales do not need to be killed for research. Whaling is about the sale of whale meat by the Japanese for profit, not science.
Let’s capitalize on the international attention to the whaling issue while it still has the public eye. Please send letters to the Prime Minister, the Foreign Office and other relevant authorities urging them to summon and castigate the Japanese Ambassador. Ask them to emphasise to the Ambassador that the UK will do everything in its power to stop their unacceptable whaling programme.
Just a few minutes can make a huge difference in the future chances of whales like the one that lost its life in the Thames. Please take a moment to send your letters now, and also try to forward copies of this message on to your friends.

MORE ENCOURAGING NEWS FROM AUSTRALIA
We have recently received the following most encouraging report from our great supporter Nick Maine in Australia :-
"Recently Channel 9 asked its viewers to vote on whether they wanted to scrap multi-culturalism. The results were predictable! 93% voted to scrap it. The remaining 7% of course would mostly be ethnics who profit from this treacherous policy in which ethnic groups are given huge grants to ensure that Australia becomes a nation of antagonistic tribes."
Once again today's Aussies - the "New ANZACS" - are showing that they are leading the West's struggle against third world encroachment. Our kith and kin in Australia are therefore to be greatly congratulated upon their defiance, and Nick Maine - now incredibly an octogenarian - is to be particularly applauded in this regard. He is a true hero of our time.

RHODESIAN REUNION
Liz Archibald of the "Rhodesian Association of South Africa" Durban Branch has recently sent us the following most uplifting report about last November's big Rhodie Reunion in Natal :-
The big Rhodesian Reunion opened at the Shamwari Club near Hillcrest in Natal with a flag raising ceremony on Sunday 6th November 2005. The skirl of bagpipes drew the crowd to the flag staffs, where representatives of the former Rhodesian security forces raised the flags of Southern Rhodesia and Rhodesia. When the bagpipes ceased the bugler sounded the reveille for the opening of this momentous week. At lunch people met old friends - some for the first time in many years. Monday saw the usual crowd at the bar, as people started to arrive from all over the world. By Tuesday celebrations were in full swing with an "English Pub Evening" in true English style, and entertainment being provided by Tony Darrell and his band. Wednesday morning was beautiful and clear - ideal for the few staunch fishermen who rallied at the Inanda Dam for the bass fishing competition. By breakfast - bacon, wors, eggs and rolls - not many fish had taken the worm. However, by the second session these well seasoned fishermen started to catch large mouth bass, but none weighed so much as a kilogram. As usual many large ones got away! Still, it was an enjoyable day, which ended with a couple or more chibulies at cut off time. That evening a John Edmond Concert was held, with John live on stage, accompanied by his lovely wife, Teresa, working the instrumental backing. Songs old and songs new, mostly about days of yore, had the folk singing and clapping. It was an evening filled with nostalgic memories of Rhodesia for the more than 400 people present. On Thursday morning the reunion golf day was held, and was a great success. That afternoon John Edmond did a special show for the pensioners, some of whom were bussed in from afar, so that they could participate during daylight hours in the reunion. In the evening the BSAP Regimental Association gathered at the Tudor Rose Pub in Hillcrest while the usual crowd kept the Shamwari Club pub open till late. Friday the 11th started with the commemoration of UDI at 13.15 hrs. After replaying the address to the nation delivered by Prime Minister Ian Douglas Smith exactly 40 years previously, John Redfern proposed a toast to Rhodesia. In the evening the "Come as You Were" party took place. A couple of the 'young ladies' were dressed in their school uniforms from yesteryear - wearing their hair in pony-tails. One guy was wearing his camo with a Corps of Engineers stable belt and beret. Lew Lloyd-Evans wore his No.6 Rhodesian rugby jersey - albeit somewhat tight on him, and there were many others among the 600 people present who 'dressed for the occasion'. Needless to say, the evening was a great success. The pub did run out of Castle Beer and Coke for a short while, despite plenty of movement between the cold rooms and the bar all night long. People partied until 03.00 hrs the next day. Apart from the liquids, Erica and Roy provided tasty meals throughout the evening. Saturday started with a "Remembrance Parade" organised by the SAS Association, attended by approximately 400 people who gathering for a memorial service at this SAS Memorial at the Flame Lily Park in Malvern. Wreaths were laid by representatives of the various Rhodesian forces, as well as the British SAS, South African Special forces, and the Flame Lily Foundation. The lunchtime gathering at the Club was well attended, while preparations were in being made at the International Conference Centre for the Gala Dinner. Over 800 people sat down to an excellent meal, with a starter of line fish, followed by shank of lamb and ending with mango cheesecake. The speeches were exceptional, with Peter Rawson acting as MC. Richard Wood, with his excellent wit and dry sense of humour spoke on the security forces of Rhodesia; Ann Grant spoke on the women of Rhodesia, Doug Watson dealt with the sportsmen and women of Rhodesia, and John Haswell closed with his own special brand of humour. Between the speeches and during the meal, the building of Kariba and scenes from Rhodesia were displayed on the big screen. John and Mary Redfern were presented with an award for their valued contribution towards the interests of Rhodesians over the past two decades, and John Edmond was made a Member of Honour of the Flame Lily Foundation in recognition of outstanding support in furthering the objects of the Foundation, and his dedication in "keeping the flame alive" by bringing Rhodesians in various parts of the world together. The closing ceremony on Sunday the 13th was well attended, with the lowering of flags to the strains of the Last Post, and the Rhodesian National Anthem being played on the bagpipes.

I find it pleasing to hear that Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark has spoken out against the mass unwanted unrestricted influx of Islamics into the Kingdom of Denmark, many of whose militant treachery imperils the harmony and quality of the Danish way of life. Denmark too is a great historic European nation, and as such we should establish formal contacts with monarchist organisations there and support any efforts on the Danes part to buy back their Danish Virgin Islands.

Zuma's coming up for trial; but the appointed judge has recused himself. His replacement failed to show up this morning. No explanation. But I can think of a likely one: intimidation. 3000 of Zuma's ANC juniors and Young Communist League spent most of the morning jumping up and down outside the Court! But in fairness to Zuma, I think that any mature young woman pitching up by herself after dark at a man's house does so for one purpose only. She appears to have achieved it!

It has recently been drawn to our attention that in the January 2006 edition of the magazine "Searchlight" it was stated that Mr.Stuart Millson had attended Springbok Club meetings. Although Mr.Millson spoke at a braai held by the Kent Branch of the Springbok Club in 2002 (which incidentally was poorly organised and very badly attended) he has never addressed any national Springbok Club meeting, nor, to the best of our knowledge, has he ever attended any other Springbok Club function. The Springbok Club has therefore written to "Searchlight" magazine clarifying this matter, and trust they will be prepared to print a correction in a future issue.

ROGUES GALLERY
Long-standing readers of the SCN will probably remember a trouble-making individual going under the name of Richard Plaistowe. This inadequate sent a number of offensive and antagonistic e-mails five years ago, and as a result we exposed him in our first ever "Rogues Gallery" column of May 2001. We thought this pathetic creature had long since disappeared, but last month he re-surfaced with a further deranged attack upon our achievements. Does anybody know whether anyone by the name of Richard Plaistowe actually exists - or whether it is yet another pseudonym adopted by young Mr. Arthur Kemp?

Readers will also probably recall the case of an obnoxious couple named Kerry and Tamra Capstick-Dale who run a company called "Corporate Image" in Cape Town, and who badly reneged on an agreement with one of our advertisers last year. Our attention has recently been drawn to an IOL report which details a scandal caused by Kerry Capstick-Dale charging R31,000 per month to write speeches for Cape Town Mayor Gerald Morkel (http://www.int.iol.co.za/index.php?set_id=1&click_id=13&art_id=ct2002041919575091M624884). Furthermore we see that the "Corporate Image" web-site has now been removed! It would seem therefore that breachers-of-contracts, like thieves, never prosper!

We have recently received some very disturbing reports from Seal-Alert-SA about the growing numbers of dead and dying seals being found around South Africa's Cape Coast. Although some of these seals have evidently been deliberately slaughtered by sadistic scum who do not deserve to be termed human, the vast majority have died of starvation because of the rapidly diminishing fish supplies in the seas of the area - a direct result of the abandonment of South Africa's previous fishing quota and preservation measures by the ANC regime.
Such disregard for South Africa's unique ecology and wildlife seems to be all too common in the "new" South Africa however, for as we have reported previously in the SCN there has been much unnecessary "culling" of land mammals - particularly elephants - in the country's allegedly protected national parks (and in this regard it should never be forgotten that - in spite of his false reputation for being a backward-looking fundamentalist - it was actually President Paul Kruger of the South African Republic who had the forethought to establish the world's first protected wildlife game park at the Kruger National Park.)
Alas such disrespect for environmental concerns and for the rights of wild animals has proved to be commonplace throughout Black Africa ever since the regrettable process of European de-colonisation began. All those who have seen the acclaimed film "Africa Addio" will recall the horrific scenes of the brutal slaughter of much of Kenya's wildlife in the immediate days following independence.
Of course this cannot be viewed as a clear case of black and white. The sadistic slaughter of seal pubs on the Canadian Atlantic coast is a vile stain on that country's otherwise excellent reputation; both Norway and Iceland continue to engage in whale-hunting (though perhaps not to the same savage degree as the dishonourable Japanese) to the anger of the rest of the civilised world, and of course the evil practice of fox and deer hunting was only outlawed in he UK as recently as last year. On the other hand we know that a number of Asian countries are trying to take positive action to protect the wildlife under their care, and we recall with admiration the work done by Black supporters of the South African SPCA (whose selfless efforts we salute with honour). But we must be totally honest in this regard - all these examples are exceptions rather than the rule. On the whole it is overwhelmingly the White nations around the world who are concerned with environmental protection and for the welfare of their fellow creatures, whereas the so-called "third world" nations mainly couldn't care a damn.
Towards the end of the 19th century Kipling reminded everyone about "the White Man's burden". Today it is probably more valid to talk about the White Man's duty and responsibility. When we advocate a return of Western global control we do so not do just in order to procure a rightful "place in the sun" for the White Man, but also more importantly to save our planet from ecological disaster, and to end the terrible suffering which our fellow creatures are still sickeningly experiencing in so many parts of the third world.

FEBRUARY SPRINGBOK CLUB/EMPIRE LOYALIST CLUB MEETING
Last month's Springbok Club/Empire Loyalist Club meeting, which was addressed by Mr. Simon McIlwaine, proved to be a good success. Mr. McIlwaine, who is an active member of Anglican Friends of Israel (a non-partisan Christian fellowship which stands in solidarity with the Jewish people and the State of Israel), gave a most informative account of the current situation which confronts Israel and emphasised why the rights of the country must be supported, particularly in their struggle against terrorism. He then went on to tell of his recent personal visit to Israel, when he had met with several patriotic Israeli organisations and representatives of the beleaguered settlers in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Most tellingly, however, speaking from a Christian perspective, he reminded everyone that following the attempted sell-out of the Jewish people by the British Government during the latter years of the Palestine Mandate Britain had lost most of its Empire.
It was interesting to remember that in 1990 the Durban-based Patriotic Forum (the predecessor of today's Springbok Club) was planning to invite a representative of the Israeli Embassy in South Africa to address a meeting, as the organisation was well aware of the fact that the State of Israel was then one of South Africa's best overseas friends, and both country's faced a common threat from terrorist fanatics. Unfortunately, of course, most of the leading members of the Patriotic Forum were forced to leave South Africa before such a meeting could be arranged - so in a way Mr. McIlwaine therefore fulfilled the ambition to hold such a meeting in solidarity with the Israeli people 16 years later!

FUTURE SPRINGBOK CLUB/EMPIRE LOYALIST CLUB EVENTS
On Saturday 29th April the SC/ELC will be staging a visit to the Bishop's Stortford Museum in Hertfordshire, which includes a special section in honour of Cecil John Rhodes which is housed in the very building where the great man was born in 1853. The Springbok Club previously visited this museum in January 2000, but since then it has evidently been considerably enhanced and expanded. The 2000 trip proved to be a highly enjoyable event, and it is hoped that for this subsequent visit even more supporters will participate. Rendezvous arrangements will be organised both in London and at Bishop's Stortford, and full details will be given in next month's SCN.
Towards the end of May the SC/ELC will be staging its annual Empire Day celebrations and buffet in central London, at which it is anticipated to welcome a very high-profile Guest of Honour. Further details will be announced in next month's SCN.

The Northern Ireland Branch of the SC/ELC held a highly successful AGM earlier this month at Enniskillen in Co.Fermanagh, where the guest speaker was Mr. Chris Richards, the Assistant General Secretary of the Protestant Alliance. There was a very good attendance at this event (indeed the turnout was even higher than for the central AGM of the organisation held in London earlier during the year!), and Mr. Richards gave a polished and most inspiring talk which was very well received. LONDON SWINTON CIRCLE NEWS
The London Swinton Circle held a highly successful and well-attended meeting earlier this month at which the guest speaker was Mr. William Frazer of the Northern Ireland-based anti-terrorist organisation F.A.I.R. ("Families Acting for Innocent Relatives"). Mr. Frazer clearly outlined many of the serious problems currently being faced by the law-abiding population of Northern Ireland, particularly in South Armagh - problems such as criminal revenue-raising rackets undertaken by Sinn Fein/IRA and the emasculation of the security forces in Ulster. Although his main speech was by necessity somewhat pessimistic in tone, the question and answer session which followed (which involved both Mr. Frazer himself and his colleague from F.A.I.R. Mr. William Wilkinson) proved to be far more encouraging, as it was clearly emphasised how in spite of all the terrorist attacks upon the loyal population of Northern Ireland, and continuous attempts to appease the terrorists by successive Westminster governments, ongoing and defiant opposition by the Unionist population has meant that a complete sell-out to the Irish Republic is no nearer today than it was at the start of the SF/IRA terrorist campaign in the late 1960s.
The London Swinton Circle anticipates welcoming a number of sitting Conservative MPs as guest speakers during the months ahead, and in this regard Miss Ann Widdecombe has provisionally agreed to address the organisation again during the autumn. Fuller details about these meetings will of course be given in future editions of the SCN.

PROTECT THE BRITISH RED SQUIRREL CAMPAIGN
Robert Shipley, the Liaison Officer of the Springbok Club/Empire Loyalist Club and the Chairman of the Kent Branch, is also a keen nature lover, and in this regard has initiated a greatly admirable petition campaign to protect the indigenous British red squirrel as part of our national heritage. The petition reads as follows: "We hereby do declare our desire and insistence that the red squirrel species shall be protected from extinction and that its habitats and breeding grounds shall be protected and expanded when necessary."

SUCCESSFUL AUSTRALIAN CAMPAIGN
Evidently last November there were plans by "The Courier Mail" to promote a lunch with "Hanoi Jane" Fonda at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in Australia. Such an event would of course be a great insult to all Australians who fought and died in the name of freedom and democracy during the Vietnam War, and as a result a campaign of opposition to the proposed visit by this treacherous woman was mounted in Queensland, spearheaded by our great friend and supporter Nick Maine. Happily we can report that this campaign was completely successful, with the lunch being cancelled with the weak excuse that she was not well. Nick Maine has shown by this action just how effective a bit of effort and initiative can be, and we salute him for his courage and efficiency in this regard.

LATEST FALKLANDS NEWS
The Argentinuian newspaper "Clarin" recently carried a report about Tony Blair’s Christmas message to Falkland Islanders. Entitled "Blair supports a decision of the Kelpers", this concentrated on his support for the decision to issue long-term fishing licences, which is so opposed by Argentina. It also reported Blair saying that he "strongly supports the right to self-determination” and promises to maintain British sovereignty. It went on to report Blair’s remarks that the last year had seen "Diplomatic challenges in our relationship with Argentina", and that Britain would work towards a "productive dialogue in areas of mutual interest". "Clarin" also mentioned Blair’s congratulations to the new Councillors, and the Islands’ "spectacular wildlife" and the exciting tourism prospects this produces.

GERMAN SPEAKER WANTED
The Springbok Club/Empire Loyalist Club has recently been contacted by Herr Heinz Calow, who when he was resident in South-West Africa during the 1980s became one of the earliest subscribers to and supporters of S.A.Patriot magazine. Now back in his native Germany, Herr Calow is producing a regular German-language broadsheet entitled "Nadsa Nachrichten Aus Dem Sudlichen Afrika" (copies of which can be obtained from: 77736 Zell a.H., Grun 13, Germany - please include a small contribution to cover costs if requesting a sample copy). We have received a number of issues of this publication, and it appears to be a most admirable effort - but unfortunately we know of no-one in the UK who speaks German sufficiently well to translate this material for us. I think it was a mistake to refer to the drunken rant at last year's UDI Day Dinner again - I doubt if the gentleman concerned will apologise when he sees that reference (it also reminds people of Club defeats and gives the impression of permanent crisis which does not exactly encourage membership). Similarly it seems unlikely that the Capstick-Dales will pay what they owe given that they are in Rogues Gallery. I have
said before and will say again the existence of a Rogues Gallery section is one of the issues which has alienated many of those estranged from the Springbok Club. The Club is seen as overtly confrontational which is why it has declined in membership - several other members I believe hold the same view. Mike Smith told me that he supported the aims of the club until 2003 but was unhappy with Club criticism of those opposed to the War against Terrorism in Iraq.

[Editor's reply: Although there are many fair criticisms contained in this letter, I believe that several of the specific points made are either mistaken or wrong. I will therefore answer all the various points in turn. 1) It has been a great surprise and disappointment that the gentleman who caused the unfortunate scene at last year's UDI Day Dinner has not so far apologised for his behaviour, as he was previously regarded as a man of great honour and conscience. By mentioning the "drunken rant" again I was merely trying to "name and shame him" - though of course I did not actually name him! Let us hope therefore that he eventually decides to do the decent thing and apologises for his disruptive performance - after which most of those who witnessed the event with probably be prepared to forgive him. 2) There is no chance that the Capstick-Dale's will ever pay the amount which they morally owe, as indeed they have already arrogantly stated, and alas with the different national authorities involved legal action against them seems to be financially prohibitive. The only weapon left in my armoury was therefore to expose their total lack of business ethnics to as wide an audience as possible, in the hope that they will eventually become aware of this exposure of their lies and how they reneged on their previous promise and assurances - and thereby will think twice before they try to "con" any other small business people in future. 3) Although you may not like the "Rogues Gallery" section of the SCN, several other readers have stated that it was their favourite section! 4) Although membership of the SC did indeed decline during 2005, this was clearly as a result of all the troubles which confronted the organisation during that difficult year, rather than because we were allegedly "overtly confrontational" in any way. Furthermore, membership is now clearly on the rise again, and indeed several of those who let their membership lapse have recently re-joined again. 5) If Mike "Scruffy" Smith stated that he "supported the aims of the Club until 2003" then he is clearly talking nonsense (I would actually like to use a far stronger term!). "Scruffy" was totally antagonistic towards the organisation's aims and objectives when he first bizarrely made contact with us during the late 1990s. March 2006 edition
We have recently received some very disturbing reports from Seal-Alert-SA about the growing numbers of dead and dying seals being found around South Africa's Cape Coast. Although some of these seals have evidently been deliberately slaughtered by sadistic scum who do not deserve to be termed human, the vast majority have died of starvation because of the rapidly diminishing fish supplies in the seas of the area - a direct result of the abandonment of South Africa's previous fishing quota and preservation measures by the ANC regime.
Such disregard for South Africa's unique ecology and wildlife seems to be all too common in the "new" South Africa however, for as we have reported previously in the SCN there has been much unnecessary "culling" of land mammals - particularly elephants - in the country's allegedly protected national parks (and in this regard it should never be forgotten that - in spite of his false reputation for being a backward-looking fundamentalist - it was actually President Paul Kruger of the South African Republic who had the forethought to establish the world's first protected wildlife game park at the Kruger National Park.)
Alas such disrespect for environmental concerns and for the rights of wild animals has proved to be commonplace throughout Black Africa ever since the regrettable process of European de-colonisation began. All those who have seen the acclaimed film "Africa Addio" will recall the horrific scenes of the brutal slaughter of much of Kenya's wildlife in the immediate days following independence.
Of course this cannot be viewed as a clear case of black and white. The sadistic slaughter of seal pubs on the Canadian Atlantic coast is a vile stain on that country's otherwise excellent reputation; both Norway and Iceland continue to engage in whale-hunting (though perhaps not to the same savage degree as the dishonourable Japanese) to the anger of the rest of the civilised world, and of course the evil practice of fox and deer hunting was only outlawed in he UK as recently as last year. On the other hand we know that a number of Asian countries are trying to take positive action to protect the wildlife under their care, and we recall with admiration the work done by Black supporters of the South African SPCA (whose selfless efforts we salute with honour). But we must be totally honest in this regard - all these examples are exceptions rather than the rule. On the whole it is overwhelmingly the White nations around the world who are concerned with environmental protection and for the welfare of their fellow creatures, whereas the so-called "third world" nations mainly couldn't care a damn.
Towards the end of the 19th century Kipling reminded everyone about "the White Man's burden". Today it is probably more valid to talk about the White Man's duty and responsibility. When we advocate a return of Western global control we do so not do just in order to procure a rightful "place in the sun" for the White Man, but also more importantly to save our planet from ecological disaster, and to end the terrible suffering which our fellow creatures are still sickeningly experiencing in so many parts of the third world.

FEBRUARY SPRINGBOK CLUB/EMPIRE LOYALIST CLUB MEETING
Last month's Springbok Club/Empire Loyalist Club meeting, which was addressed by Mr. Simon McIlwaine, proved to be a good success. Mr. McIlwaine, who is an active member of Anglican Friends of Israel (a non-partisan Christian fellowship which stands in solidarity with the Jewish people and the State of Israel), gave a most informative account of the current situation which confronts Israel and emphasised why the rights of the country must be supported, particularly in their struggle against terrorism. He then went on to tell of his recent personal visit to Israel, when he had met with several patriotic Israeli organisations and representatives of the beleaguered settlers in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Most tellingly, however, speaking from a Christian perspective, he reminded everyone that following the attempted sell-out of the Jewish people by the British Government during the latter years of the Palestine Mandate Britain had lost most of its Empire.
It was interesting to remember that in 1990 the Durban-based Patriotic Forum (the predecessor of today's Springbok Club) was planning to invite a representative of the Israeli Embassy in South Africa to address a meeting, as the organisation was well aware of the fact that the State of Israel was then one of South Africa's best overseas friends, and both country's faced a common threat from terrorist fanatics. Unfortunately, of course, most of the leading members of the Patriotic Forum were forced to leave South Africa before such a meeting could be arranged - so in a way Mr. McIlwaine therefore fulfilled the ambition to hold such a meeting in solidarity with the Israeli people 16 years later!

FUTURE SPRINGBOK CLUB/EMPIRE LOYALIST CLUB EVENTS
On Saturday 29th April the SC/ELC will be staging a visit to the Bishop's Stortford Museum in Hertfordshire, which includes a special section in honour of Cecil John Rhodes which is housed in the very building where the great man was born in 1853. The Springbok Club previously visited this museum in January 2000, but since then it has evidently been considerably enhanced and expanded. The 2000 trip proved to be a highly enjoyable event, and it is hoped that for this subsequent visit even more supporters will participate. Rendezvous arrangements will be organised both in London and at Bishop's Stortford, and full details will be given in next month's SCN.
Towards the end of May the SC/ELC will be staging its annual Empire Day celebrations and buffet in central London, at which it is anticipated to welcome a very high-profile Guest of Honour. Further details will be announced in next month's SCN.

The Northern Ireland Branch of the SC/ELC held a highly successful AGM earlier this month at Enniskillen in Co.Fermanagh, where the guest speaker was Mr. Chris Richards, the Assistant General Secretary of the Protestant Alliance. There was a very good attendance at this event (indeed the turnout was even higher than for the central AGM of the organisation held in London earlier during the year!), and Mr. Richards gave a polished and most inspiring talk which was very well received. LONDON SWINTON CIRCLE NEWS
The London Swinton Circle held a highly successful and well-attended meeting earlier this month at which the guest speaker was Mr. William Frazer of the Northern Ireland-based anti-terrorist organisation F.A.I.R. ("Families Acting for Innocent Relatives"). Mr. Frazer clearly outlined many of the serious problems currently being faced by the law-abiding population of Northern Ireland, particularly in South Armagh - problems such as criminal revenue-raising rackets undertaken by Sinn Fein/IRA and the emasculation of the security forces in Ulster. Although his main speech was by necessity somewhat pessimistic in tone, the question and answer session which followed (which involved both Mr. Frazer himself and his colleague from F.A.I.R. Mr. William Wilkinson) proved to be far more encouraging, as it was clearly emphasised how in spite of all the terrorist attacks upon the loyal population of Northern Ireland, and continuous attempts to appease the terrorists by successive Westminster governments, ongoing and defiant opposition by the Unionist population has meant that a complete sell-out to the Irish Republic is no nearer today than it was at the start of the SF/IRA terrorist campaign in the late 1960s.
The London Swinton Circle anticipates welcoming a number of sitting Conservative MPs as guest speakers during the months ahead, and in this regard Miss Ann Widdecombe has provisionally agreed to address the organisation again during the autumn. Fuller details about these meetings will of course be given in future editions of the SCN.

PROTECT THE BRITISH RED SQUIRREL CAMPAIGN
Robert Shipley, the Liaison Officer of the Springbok Club/Empire Loyalist Club and the Chairman of the Kent Branch, is also a keen nature lover, and in this regard has initiated a greatly admirable petition campaign to protect the indigenous British red squirrel as part of our national heritage. The petition reads as follows: "We hereby do declare our desire and insistence that the red squirrel species shall be protected from extinction and that its habitats and breeding grounds shall be protected and expanded when necessary."

SUCCESSFUL AUSTRALIAN CAMPAIGN
Evidently last November there were plans by "The Courier Mail" to promote a lunch with "Hanoi Jane" Fonda at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in Australia. Such an event would of course be a great insult to all Australians who fought and died in the name of freedom and democracy during the Vietnam War, and as a result a campaign of opposition to the proposed visit by this treacherous woman was mounted in Queensland, spearheaded by our great friend and supporter Nick Maine. Happily we can report that this campaign was completely successful, with the lunch being cancelled with the weak excuse that she was not well. Nick Maine has shown by this action just how effective a bit of effort and initiative can be, and we salute him for his courage and efficiency in this regard.

LATEST FALKLANDS NEWS
The Argentinuian newspaper "Clarin" recently carried a report about Tony Blair’s Christmas message to Falkland Islanders. Entitled "Blair supports a decision of the Kelpers", this concentrated on his support for the decision to issue long-term fishing licences, which is so opposed by Argentina. It also reported Blair saying that he "strongly supports the right to self-determination” and promises to maintain British sovereignty. It went on to report Blair’s remarks that the last year had seen "Diplomatic challenges in our relationship with Argentina", and that Britain would work towards a "productive dialogue in areas of mutual interest". "Clarin" also mentioned Blair’s congratulations to the new Councillors, and the Islands’ "spectacular wildlife" and the exciting tourism prospects this produces.

GERMAN SPEAKER WANTED
The Springbok Club/Empire Loyalist Club has recently been contacted by Herr Heinz Calow, who when he was resident in South-West Africa during the 1980s became one of the earliest subscribers to and supporters of S.A.Patriot magazine. Now back in his native Germany, Herr Calow is producing a regular German-language broadsheet entitled "Nadsa Nachrichten Aus Dem Sudlichen Afrika" (copies of which can be obtained from: 77736 Zell a.H., Grun 13, Germany - please include a small contribution to cover costs if requesting a sample copy). We have received a number of issues of this publication, and it appears to be a most admirable effort - but unfortunately we know of no-one in the UK who speaks German sufficiently well to translate this material for us. I think it was a mistake to refer to the drunken rant at last year's UDI Day Dinner again - I doubt if the gentleman concerned will apologise when he sees that reference (it also reminds people of Club defeats and gives the impression of permanent crisis which does not exactly encourage membership). Similarly it seems unlikely that the Capstick-Dales will pay what they owe given that they are in Rogues Gallery. I have
said before and will say again the existence of a Rogues Gallery section is one of the issues which has alienated many of those estranged from the Springbok Club. The Club is seen as overtly confrontational which is why it has declined in membership - several other members I believe hold the same view. Mike Smith told me that he supported the aims of the club until 2003 but was unhappy with Club criticism of those opposed to the War against Terrorism in Iraq.

[Editor's reply: Although there are many fair criticisms contained in this letter, I believe that several of the specific points made are either mistaken or wrong. I will therefore answer all the various points in turn. 1) It has been a great surprise and disappointment that the gentleman who caused the unfortunate scene at last year's UDI Day Dinner has not so far apologised for his behaviour, as he was previously regarded as a man of great honour and conscience. By mentioning the "drunken rant" again I was merely trying to "name and shame him" - though of course I did not actually name him! Let us hope therefore that he eventually decides to do the decent thing and apologises for his disruptive performance - after which most of those who witnessed the event with probably be prepared to forgive him. 2) There is no chance that the Capstick-Dale's will ever pay the amount which they morally owe, as indeed they have already arrogantly stated, and alas with the different national authorities involved legal action against them seems to be financially prohibitive. The only weapon left in my armoury was therefore to expose their total lack of business ethnics to as wide an audience as possible, in the hope that they will eventually become aware of this exposure of their lies and how they reneged on their previous promise and assurances - and thereby will think twice before they try to "con" any other small business people in future. 3) Although you may not like the "Rogues Gallery" section of the SCN, several other readers have stated that it was their favourite section! 4) Although membership of the SC did indeed decline during 2005, this was clearly as a result of all the troubles which confronted the organisation during that difficult year, rather than because we were allegedly "overtly confrontational" in any way. Furthermore, membership is now clearly on the rise again, and indeed several of those who let their membership lapse have recently re-joined again. 5) If Mike "Scruffy" Smith stated that he "supported the aims of the Club until 2003" then he is clearly talking nonsense (I would actually like to use a far stronger term!). "Scruffy" was totally antagonistic towards the organisation's aims and objectives when he first bizarrely made contact with us during the late 1990s. Ever since the Islamic terrorist attacks of September 11th 2001 it has surely been obvious to all but the most myopic that Western civilisation faces a resurgent threat from an old and insidious foe. The events which have followed have only but re-emphasised this danger, culminating in the current anti-Western hysteria throughout the Muslim world as result of some completely innocuous Danish cartoons.
In spite of all this clear antipathy towards the West and all which it stands for by Muslims throughout the world (most grotesquely by those currently resident in the West) there are still incredibly many in the West who choose to close their eyes to this threat by attempting to distinguish between so-called "moderate" Muslims and so-called "extremist" Muslims. These same shapers of opinion also go out of their way to deny that there is now a "Clash of Civilisations" taking place around the globe - but clearly there IS a "Clash of Civilisations" taking place, which only those in a complete state of denial can possibly dispute.
A simple history lesson shows everyone that ever since its inception the Mohammedan religion has been hell-bent upon imposing its repressive, expansionist and misogynous faith throughout the world. Twice previously in history - during the eighth century by the Moors, and during the seventeenth century by the Ottomans - Europe has been threatened by the invasion of Islamic forces. Although during the nineteenth and early twentieth century this danger was countered by the ascendancy of benevolent Western Imperialism, and subsequently - bizarrely - by Soviet hegemony in central Asia, there now once again seems to be a more subtle invasion of Western Europe taking place by Muslim hordes.
During the twentieth century Western civilisation faced serious threats from two more secular forms of oppressive totalitarianism - Nazism and Communism (and in this regard it should never be forgotten how the Nazis kowtowed to the Mohammedans - both in the Balkans and in the Middle East). During this era the West also alas seemed to be led by those who were in denial about the dangers posed - the appeasers of the day. Only a few brave statesmen had the intellect and courage to identify the threats posed and to speak out against them, most notably Sir Winston Churchill, Sir Anthony Eden and Brendan Bracken. What the West now needs desperately therefore is for a new Churchill to arise who is not afraid to acknowledge the "Clash of Civilisations" which currently clearly exists, and to oppose the Islamic monster which threatens us all.

SPRINGBOK CLUB 2006 AGM
Although the Springbok Club's 2006 AGM proved to be a very difficult occasion because of the need to address all the problems which confronted the organisation during 2005, it even so ended on a very positive and indeed successful note.
Following a very depressive Organiser's report, and a somewhat happier Treasurer's report, two important motions were then put forward for debate.
The first of these motions proposed that a new parallel organisation be established which would have a far wider scope and remit. After much genial discussion it was eventually agreed that the name of "The Empire Loyalist Club" should be adopted for this new parallel organisation. A similar constitution will be adopted for the Empire Loyalist Club as for the Springbok Club (with changes of name where necessary), and activities in future will be conducted under either of these two titles depending upon which is considered to be the most appropriate. Membership of one organisation will automatically entail membership of the other, unless any individual member requests otherwise.
The second motion was more technical, and proposed a number of changes to the constitution of the new joint organisation which would establish a new smaller and streamlined, and hopefully more efficient, five-person Executive Committee. This proposal was also carried, and subsequently the following people were elected to the new streamlined ExCo: Bill Binding, Alan Harvey, Allan Robertson, Robert Shipley and Daniel Wilkinson.
Following the business side of the meeting an illustrated report-back was given by those who visited Gibraltar in October in order to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar (perhaps the only unambiguously successful event of 2005!), which was very positively received, and which ended the meeting with great hope for the future.

Belfast-born Simon McIlwaine hails from a staunch Ulster Unionist background, but has lived in London for the past 23 years, where he now practises as a solicitor. An active member of the Conservative Party (he stood as Conservative Parliamentary candidate for Manchester Central during the 1997 General Election), and has had articles on foreign, social and economic policy issues published by both the Adam Smith Institute and the Edmund Burke Foundation. He has taken a strong interest in Israeli and Middle Eastern affairs for some time, and is a member of the Conservative Friends of Israel and Christian Solidarity Worldwide, as well as being an active member of Anglican Friends of Israel (a non-partisan Christian fellowship which stands in solidarity with the Jewish people and the State of Israel) for whom he currently acts as Co-ordinator. He made an extensive trip to Israel during 2005, visiting most parts including the Gaza Strip, where he witnessed the defiant struggle of some of the beleaguered Israeli settlers there. He will be speaking in a personal capacity at this meeting, concentrating upon his experiences during this recent visit to Israel. (Simon McIlwaine is a distant relative of Sir Robert McIlwaine, the former Rhodesian High Court judge who was knighted in 1939, and after whom Lake McIlwaine was named.)

FUTURE SPRINGBOK CLUB/EMPIRE LOYALIST CLUB EVENTS
The SC/ELC will be staging two joint meetings with the London Swinton Circle during March under the banner of the Patriotic Forum. The guest speaker at the first of these two meetings to be staged on Tuesday 14th March will be Ms. Paula Adamick, the managing editor of the London-based Canadian expatriate newspaper "The Canada Post". At the second meeting, to be held on Wednesday 22nd March, the guest speaker will be Mr. Bob Vinnicombe, a New South Wales representative of the Australian "One Nation" party.
On Saturday 29th April the SC/ELC is planning to stage a visit to the Bishops Stortford Museum in Hertfordshire, which houses an expanded Rhodes Museum in the house where Cecil John Rhodes was born, which the Springbok Club visited previously in January 2000.

LONDON SWINTON CIRCLE NEWS
The London Swinton Circle staged a most interesting and well-attended meeting last month at which the guest speaker was Mr. Derek Turner, the editor of the influential magazine "Right Now!". Mr. Turner gave a most polished speech detailing many of the problems which confronted present-day Britain, but ended on a far more hopeful note by emphasising several of the more encouraging national developments, particularly regarding the growth of opposition to immigration. Perhaps the only problem at this meeting was the unwelcome presence of the absurd Gregory Lauder-Frost (aka Frauder-Lost) in the audience. Mr. Frauder-Lost was of course central to a smear-campaign against the LSC and a number of its leading officials on the web-site of the so-called "Conservative Democratic Alliance" a few months previously, so the reason why he should subsequently wish to attend a LSC event remains a complete mystery, particularly as one despicable outburst which he made during this meeting showed that he most certainly did not share the patriotic sentiments of the organisation. Mr. Frauder-Lost clearly realised that he was not a welcomed guest however, for he rapidly skulked off together with a lackey as soon as the meeting was over!

MESSAGE FROM THE INTERNATIONAL FUND FOR ANIMAL WELFARE
Thousands of elephants in South Africa’s Kruger National Park need your help.
The largest land mammal on earth, elephants are extremely intelligent, social and grieve tremendously for the loss of family members. Can you imagine these majestic creatures being herded into family groups by helicopters, and then shot in the head by marksmen?
This population control measure (cull) by lethal means is exactly what is being proposed by South Africa National Parks (SANParks) in order to protect the vegetation of the park from a perceived overpopulation of elephants. But culling is a cruel, unethical and scientifically unsound practice that does not consider the welfare implications to elephant society as a whole, which is why it has been banned in South Africa since an international outcry halted the practice in 1994.
Culling has been heavily criticised by many independent scientists, some of whom are considered to be the most reputable scientists working on elephant biology and population dynamics in Southern Africa. Very little is actually known about the impacts that elephants are having on bio-diversity in the Park. Published ‘evidence’ of the destruction caused by elephants comes from non-scientists and is based largely on observation.
There is a better way. A way that relies on nature itself to manage elephant populations and reduce any impact large elephant herds could potentially have on vegetation in national parks.
By allowing a greater migration of elephant groups between parks and countries in southern Africa, i.e. the creation of a network of connected protected areas or ‘megaparks,’ elephant populations can be managed by natural forces such as drought. In fact, Kruger is already part of a trans-boundary initiative linking it to national parks in Mozambique and eventually Zimbabwe.
We have squeezed elephants into small reserves in which, in many cases, the natural factors controlling elephant populations can no longer operate. A series of conservation networks that include differing landscapes and conditions — some ideal and some non-ideal for elephants — can restore conditions that give rise to natural mortalities. Elephants would benefit, people would benefit and so would the revenues raised by tourists wanting to view the magnificent sight of herds of roaming elephants.
No proof means NO CULL
Sound science should be informing the management of the Kruger National Park. By dealing with elephants in short-term isolation, SANParks is not considering a holistic approach to the management of the Park’s resources. A cull will also tarnish South Africa’s image as a reputable wildlife destination.
The Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism is due to make a final decision on elephant culling by the end of the year. That’s why we need you to send South Africa a message urging the government to reject culling elephants in Kruger National Park right now.
It is said that elephants never forget. Let’s make sure South Africa doesn’t forget why it banned the culling of elephants in the first place.

As it is with the current situation regarding the old Union of South Africa, in my estimation the only thing that will restore civilised White rule to that land will be for the Royal Navy to arrive in Table Bay, Port Elizabeth and Durban, and then hoisting their Union Jacks besides the "Orange White and Blue". To have that happen we need to sweep from office our own traitorous government for "Operation Good Hope" to succeed. We need not worry too much about resistance because I am sure the responsible majority of ordinary people will welcome the restoration of order and sanity.

ROGUES GALLERY
A few years ago we were contacted by a certain Guenther Zorn from Vienna in Austria, who ordered a real South African flag from us. Accepting his bona fides at face value we therefore supplied this item to him, together with a complimentary copy of a recent edition of S.A.Patriot-in-Exile. His reaction to this was incredible, writing back to us attacking us in a most arrogant and insulting manner. After a subsequent brief exchange of correspondence it became obvious that Herr Zorn's opinions concerning South Africa were diametrically opposed to our own, and contact with him then seemed to cease. A few months ago, however, he decided to re-contact us, again insulting and attacking our stance in a most pathological fashion. Has anyone else had any contact with this trouble-maker we therefore wonder, or know anything further about him?

OBITUARY
SIR FREDDIE LAKER
Sir Freddie Laker, who died earlier this month, was a true entrepreneur who exemplified everything which was good in the capitalist system. He was by nature a gut-patriot, and a great admirer of Margaret Thatcher and all that she did for Britain. He became bitterly disillusioned with certain elements in the British government however, particularly following the witch-hunt against his Trans-Atlantic Skytrain low-cost airline, which forced his company out of business and subsequently left Britain to live in the United States. Although regrettable, the reason for this decision can certainly be understood.
There is one very significant but little known fact about Sir Freddie Laker however. During the 1970s he was approached by an old friend who he had worked with at Short Brothers in Rochester during WWII who had became very active with a then new and seemingly authentic patriotic political party in the Medway Towns, who asked him if he would make a financial contribution to this party's funds. Sir Freddie apparently made investigations into this party and discovered that certain highly-sinister neo-Nazi elements were prominent in this party at national level, so therefore declined to become involved in any way (which as a result opened up the eyes of his former friend also). This incident therefore clearly illustrates the grave dangers which result if any contacts are established with neo-Nazi sympathisers.

The first of these motions proposed that a new parallel organisation be established which would have a far wider scope and remit. After much genial discussion it was eventually agreed that the name of "The Empire Loyalist Club" should be adopted for this new parallel organisation. A similar constitution will be adopted for the Empire Loyalist Club as for the Springbok Club (with changes of name where necessary), and activities in future will be conducted under either of these two titles depending upon which is considered to be the most appropriate. Membership of one organisation will automatically entail membership of the other, unless any individual member requests otherwise.
The second motion was more technical, and proposed a number of changes to the constitution of the new joint organisation which would establish a new smaller and streamlined, and hopefully more efficient, five-person Executive Committee. This proposal was also carried, and subsequently the following people were elected to the new streamlined ExCo: Bill Binding, Alan Harvey, Allan Robertson, Robert Shipley and Daniel Wilkinson.
Following the business side of the meeting an illustrated report-back was given by those who visited Gibraltar in October in order to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar (perhaps the only unambiguously successful event of 2005!), which was very positively received, and which ended the meeting with great hope for the future.

Belfast-born Simon McIlwaine hails from a staunch Ulster Unionist background, but has lived in London for the past 23 years, where he now practises as a solicitor. An active member of the Conservative Party (he stood as Conservative Parliamentary candidate for Manchester Central during the 1997 General Election), and has had articles on foreign, social and economic policy issues published by both the Adam Smith Institute and the Edmund Burke Foundation. He has taken a strong interest in Israeli and Middle Eastern affairs for some time, and is a member of the Conservative Friends of Israel and Christian Solidarity Worldwide, as well as being an active member of Anglican Friends of Israel (a non-partisan Christian fellowship which stands in solidarity with the Jewish people and the State of Israel) for whom he currently acts as Co-ordinator. He made an extensive trip to Israel during 2005, visiting most parts including the Gaza Strip, where he witnessed the defiant struggle of some of the beleaguered Israeli settlers there. He will be speaking in a personal capacity at this meeting, concentrating upon his experiences during this recent visit to Israel. (Simon McIlwaine is a distant relative of Sir Robert McIlwaine, the former Rhodesian High Court judge who was knighted in 1939, and after whom Lake McIlwaine was named.)

FUTURE SPRINGBOK CLUB/EMPIRE LOYALIST CLUB EVENTS
The SC/ELC will be staging two joint meetings with the London Swinton Circle during March under the banner of the Patriotic Forum. The guest speaker at the first of these two meetings to be staged on Tuesday 14th March will be Ms. Paula Adamick, the managing editor of the London-based Canadian expatriate newspaper "The Canada Post". At the second meeting, to be held on Wednesday 22nd March, the guest speaker will be Mr. Bob Vinnicombe, a New South Wales representative of the Australian "One Nation" party.
On Saturday 29th April the SC/ELC is planning to stage a visit to the Bishops Stortford Museum in Hertfordshire, which houses an expanded Rhodes Museum in the house where Cecil John Rhodes was born, which the Springbok Club visited previously in January 2000.
More details about all these events will appear in future editions of the SCN.

LONDON SWINTON CIRCLE NEWS
The London Swinton Circle staged a most interesting and well-attended meeting last month at which the guest speaker was Mr. Derek Turner, the editor of the influential magazine "Right Now!". Mr. Turner gave a most polished speech detailing many of the problems which confronted present-day Britain, but ended on a far more hopeful note by emphasising several of the more encouraging national developments, particularly regarding the growth of opposition to immigration. Perhaps the only problem at this meeting was the unwelcome presence of the absurd Gregory Lauder-Frost (aka Frauder-Lost) in the audience. Mr. Frauder-Lost was of course central to a smear-campaign against the LSC and a number of its leading officials on the web-site of the so-called "Conservative Democratic Alliance" a few months previously, so the reason why he should subsequently wish to attend a LSC event remains a complete mystery, particularly as one despicable outburst which he made during this meeting showed that he most certainly did not share the patriotic sentiments of the organisation. Mr. Frauder-Lost clearly realised that he was not a welcomed guest however, for he rapidly skulked off together with a lackey as soon as the meeting was over!

MESSAGE FROM THE INTERNATIONAL FUND FOR ANIMAL WELFARE
Thousands of elephants in South Africa’s Kruger National Park need your help.
The largest land mammal on earth, elephants are extremely intelligent, social and grieve tremendously for the loss of family members. Can you imagine these majestic creatures being herded into family groups by helicopters, and then shot in the head by marksmen?
This population control measure (cull) by lethal means is exactly what is being proposed by South Africa National Parks (SANParks) in order to protect the vegetation of the park from a perceived overpopulation of elephants. But culling is a cruel, unethical and scientifically unsound practice that does not consider the welfare implications to elephant society as a whole, which is why it has been banned in South Africa since an international outcry halted the practice in 1994.
Culling has been heavily criticised by many independent scientists, some of whom are considered to be the most reputable scientists working on elephant biology and population dynamics in Southern Africa. Very little is actually known about the impacts that elephants are having on bio-diversity in the Park. Published ‘evidence’ of the destruction caused by elephants comes from non-scientists and is based largely on observation.
There is a better way. A way that relies on nature itself to manage elephant populations and reduce any impact large elephant herds could potentially have on vegetation in national parks.
By allowing a greater migration of elephant groups between parks and countries in southern Africa, i.e. the creation of a network of connected protected areas or ‘megaparks,’ elephant populations can be managed by natural forces such as drought. In fact, Kruger is already part of a trans-boundary initiative linking it to national parks in Mozambique and eventually Zimbabwe.
We have squeezed elephants into small reserves in which, in many cases, the natural factors controlling elephant populations can no longer operate. A series of conservation networks that include differing landscapes and conditions — some ideal and some non-ideal for elephants — can restore conditions that give rise to natural mortalities. Elephants would benefit, people would benefit and so would the revenues raised by tourists wanting to view the magnificent sight of herds of roaming elephants.
No proof means NO CULL
Sound science should be informing the management of the Kruger National Park. By dealing with elephants in short-term isolation, SANParks is not considering a holistic approach to the management of the Park’s resources. A cull will also tarnish South Africa’s image as a reputable wildlife destination.
The Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism is due to make a final decision on elephant culling by the end of the year. That’s why we need you to send South Africa a message urging the government to reject culling elephants in Kruger National Park right now.
It is said that elephants never forget. Let’s make sure South Africa doesn’t forget why it banned the culling of elephants in the first place.

Tod Myerscough was a founder member of the Springbok Club when he was based in UK whilst studying at the University of London during the mid-1990's. As it is with the current situation regarding the old Union of South Africa, in my estimation the only thing that will restore civilised White rule to that land will be for the Royal Navy to arrive in Table Bay, Port Elizabeth and Durban, and then hoisting their Union Jacks besides the "Orange White and Blue". To have that happen we need to sweep from office our own traitorous government for "Operation Good Hope" to succeed. We need not worry too much about resistance because I am sure the responsible majority of ordinary people will welcome the restoration of order and sanity.

ROGUES GALLERY
A few years ago we were contacted by a certain Guenther Zorn from Vienna in Austria, who ordered a real South African flag from us. Accepting his bona fides at face value we therefore supplied this item to him, together with a complimentary copy of a recent edition of S.A.Patriot-in-Exile. His reaction to this was incredible, writing back to us attacking us in a most arrogant and insulting manner. After a subsequent brief exchange of correspondence it became obvious that Herr Zorn's opinions concerning South Africa were diametrically opposed to our own, and contact with him then seemed to cease. A few months ago, however, he decided to re-contact us, again insulting and attacking our stance in a most pathological fashion. Has anyone else had any contact with this trouble-maker we therefore wonder, or know anything further about him?

OBITUARY
SIR FREDDIE LAKER
Sir Freddie Laker, who died earlier this month, was a true entrepreneur who exemplified everything which was good in the capitalist system. He was by nature a gut-patriot, and a great admirer of Margaret Thatcher and all that she did for Britain. He became bitterly disillusioned with certain elements in the British government however, particularly following the witch-hunt against his Trans-Atlantic Skytrain low-cost airline, which forced his company out of business and subsequently left Britain to live in the United States. Although regrettable, the reason for this decision can certainly be understood.
There is one very significant but little known fact about Sir Freddie Laker however. During the 1970s he was approached by an old friend who he had worked with at Short Brothers in Rochester during WWII who had became very active with a then new and seemingly authentic patriotic political party in the Medway Towns, who asked him if he would make a financial contribution to this party's funds. Sir Freddie apparently made investigations into this party and discovered that certain highly-sinister neo-Nazi elements were prominent in this party at national level, so therefore declined to become involved in any way (which as a result opened up the eyes of his former friend also). This incident therefore clearly illustrates the grave dangers which result if any contacts are established with neo-Nazi sympathisers.

Two reports have recently reached us confirming the true current disintegrating nature of southern African sport.
Firstly we learnt that the South African rugby authorities had been willing to kow-tow to the ANC-regime by agreeing to enact a "total transformation in the next decade in which the sport will get rid of its 'White face' and adjust its composition on all levels". Inter alia this means that all representative teams from under-13 to national level will have to be at least 65% non-White within the next ten years.
Secondly came reports that the Zimbabwe Cricket Board had been dissolved by the ZANU-PF government and a new administration set-up without any White or Asian directors because of "their racial connotations and having their own agendas and not government policy". This clearly seems to suggest that the Mugabe-regime has decided that in future only Black players will be able to represent Zimbabwe.
This publication and the movement which it supports has for long warned all Whites that there is absolutely no place for them in either "Zimbabwe" or the "new" South Africa, and that they should leave those disintegrating countries as soon as they can - and this applies to sportsmen and sportswomen as much as, if not more than, every other facet of society.
We have for long been disgusted by the sight of White sportsmen being prepared to humiliate themselves by wearing the flags and emblems of the terrorist regimes which have taken over their countries simply in order to obtain the "glory" of international competition, but now it is becoming obvious that even this appeasement of theirs is not sufficient to endear them to their new masters. Several White southern African sportsmen have taken a far more honourable course and have moved to other Western nations in order to continue their sporting careers, many with a considerable degree of success - most notably Kevin Pietersen and Pieter de Villiers. We of course salute their courage and honour in this respect. We have also heard reports that many White "Zimbabwe" cricketers are considering moving to Canada now that the Canadians have qualified for the 2007 World Cup, and the same may also apply to Scotland, Ireland and the Netherlands. With both the rugby and cricket authorities seeking to increase the popularity of their games around the globe there would certainly appear to be increasing scope for other White southern African players to make similar moves.
But it is not only White sportsmen and sportswomen who are slowly but surely being levered out of all positions in the new Black nations of southern Africa. Increasingly it will be all Whites in all sections of society. By staying in those beleaguered lands Whites not only face increasing humiliation, but also increasing physical danger. We've said it before and we'll say it again. All Whites who can leave should do so as soon as possible and by whatever means possible.

SPRINGBOK CLUB DAY OF THE VOW COMMEMORATIONS
The Springbok Club's annual Day of the Vow commemorations in December 2005 proved to be a very happy and positive event, although alas the numbers in attendance turned out to be far smaller than was anticipated and hoped (it is believed mainly due to the knock-on effects of the "drunken rant" which ruined the previous month's UDI Day Dinner - it is surprising what damage a single malcontent can inflict!). Proceedings were commenced by a short devotion led by the Rev. David Braid, which was followed by the main keynote speech of the evening which was delivered by the Guest of Honour, Mr. Bernard Terry. Mr. Terry lived for many years in Rhodesia and is a leading member of the Victoria Cross Society, for whom he has written many articles. He gave an excellent and highly informative talk about the history of the Victoria Cross, making special reference to the southern African holders of the award. The proceedings were concluded by a sumptuous buffet meal, which rounded off a most enjoyable and indeed inspiring evening.

SPRINGBOK CLUB 2006 AGM
The 2006 AGM of the Springbok Club will take place on Tuesday 31st January at a venue in central London. All fully paid-up members of the organisation will be informed of the precise details of this meeting within the next few days. 2005, of course, proved to be an extremely problematic year for the Springbok Club - starting with the "Wallergate" disaster in February and ending with the "drunken rant" in November, with the CDA smear-campaign and a number of other set-backs in between. In view of all these troubles it is clear that a number of changes need to be made to the movement, and with this situation in mind two motions for debate have been tabled for this AGM, one to broaden the scope and remit of the organisation and the other to amend the constitution to establish a leaner and more efficient Executive Committee (full details of both motions will be posted to all fully paid-up members together with their invitations.) In view of the very important nature of this year's AGM it is therefore hoped that all members will make a special effort to attend.

During March the Springbok Club is anticipating welcoming a guest speaker who has recently visited the Gaza Strip in order to express solidarity with the defiant Israeli settlers there, who will recount something of his experiences in the Gaza Strip settlements, and also about the Israeli settlers' struggle in general.

The London Branch of the Springbok Club is planning to hold a meeting within the next few months at which one of their leading members will be giving a talk on early Anglo-Saxon history. More details will be given in a future edition of SCN.
Both the Kent and Chilterns branches of the Springbok Club are hoping to stage get-togethers during the spring. It is anticipated that a well-known personality from the British patriotic movement will be present at the Chilterns Branch gathering, which will be held in either the Tring or Hemel Hempstead area.

LONDON SWINTON CIRCLE NEWS
The London Swinton Circle supportive publication "Tough Talking from the Right" held a special readers' meeting and buffet in the City of London recently, where the guest speaker was Mr. Nigel Farage MEP, the co-president of the Independence and Democracy Group in the European Parliament. There was a packed attendance at this gathering, who heard Mr. Farage deliver a most enlightening and succinct overview of the current dangers still facing Britain if membership of the EU were to continue. He also voiced strong optimism that the days of the EU were numbered, illustrating this fact not only by the recent decisive votes against the proposed European Constitution in France and the Netherlands, but also by the upsurge of anti-EU sentiment in Austria, the Baltic States and Malta. He further emphasised how relatively easy it would be for Britain to withdraw from the EU and to enter into far more beneficial free trade arrangements with the nations of Europe in its place.

NEW BRITAIN'S AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND CELEBRATIONS

Assemble at the statue of Admiral Arthur Phillip in Watling Street, just behind St.Paul's Cathedral. Admiral Phillip was born in the City of London and was the first Governor of Australia and founder of Sydney. A wreath will be laid and the Australian National Anthem sung. This will be followed by a march through the City of London with a City of London Police escort to the church of St.James, Garlickhythe behind Mansion House underground station. The march will be led by the band of the 1159 (Edmonton) Squadron Air Training Corps, the Australian and New Zealand flags and standards of the Royal British Legion. At 15.00 hrs a service will take place at St.James, Garlickhythe, which will be attended by the Rt.Hon. the Lord Mayor of London, Alderman David Brewer, the Lady Mayoress and the Sheriffs and their ladies. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Martin Hislop, Vicar of St.Luke's, Kingston-upon-Thames, who lived in Australia for 34 years when he was Chaplain to Ballarat University, and who takes the annual ANZAC Day service in Battersea Park for the Australian High Commission. A reception will follow the service where all attending will have the opportunity to sign a message of friendship and goodwill to the Prime Ministers of Australia and New Zealand. The date for this celebration has been chosen as it is near Australia's National Day on 26 January and New Zealand's National Day (Waitangi Day) on 6 February. New Britain has held an Australia/New Zealand celebration in the City of London each year for the past ten years. The aim is to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the UK, Australia and New Zealand. The celebration in January 2005 was attended by Alderman Michael Savory, the then Lord Mayor of London, and a letter was received after the celebration from the Prime Minister of Australia thanking New Britain for organising the event. DISTURBING NEWS REGARDING THE SOUTH AFRICAN S.P.C.A.
We have recently received the following most disturbing report concerning current policies being enacted by the South African S.P.C.A.:-
"Only in South Africa could an organisation calling itself the National Council of the SPCA adopt a policy of kill-on-sight for orphaned and injured primates.
"Only in South Africa could a tax-funded conservation service foster, nurture and participate in the evils of canned lion hunting - and approve the use of gin traps.
"Only in South Africa could an organisation calling itself the Endangered Wildlife Trust import enough 1080 poison to kill up to two million
small mammals, and then promote its use against our wildlife.
"Only in South Africa could a provincial conservation service give permits for baboons in provincial game reserves to be trapped and then sold for cruel bio-medical experiments.
"As way of further clarity the resolution adopted by the SPCA reads as follows :-
"* All sick or injured vervet monkeys and baboons admitted into an SPCA must be humanely euthanased.
"* All non-injured primates must be kept for five days only and then euthanased. This period is to allow for a permit holder, in terms of
the relevant nature conservation legislation, to claim the primate.
"Only primates in KwaZulu-Natal [sic] will be exempt from the above ruling with the proviso that it is possible to repatriate the primates back into the wild."

GIBRALTAR ROAD MAP VICTORY
A few months ago we learnt the disturbing news from the Gibraltar Action Group that the AA's on-line European route map had labelled Gibraltar as "Gibraltar (Spain)"! The Gibraltar Action Group requested that all supporters write to the AA asking them to correct this highly
offensive error - a request which we were eagerly willing to comply with!
We are therefore very happy to report that we have just received news that the AA have now corrected their mistake - which just shows you the power of the pen, or of e-mail these days!

ZIMBABWE'S DOWNFALL
Our very good friend and supporter from Germany, Agnes Römer, recently sent us a very interesting report from the prestigious German magazine "Spiegel" entitled "Zimbabwe's Downfall". We are most grateful to Agnes for informing us about this significant article, and reproduce extracts from it below :-
"Robert Mugabe is inexorably destroying his country. Although the dictator is essentially persona non grata in Europe, African politicians celebrate the potentate as a nationalist messiah.
"It's unlikely that the dictator hears much about what goes on in his foundering realm. When Robert Mugabe, 81, has himself chauffeured through the streets of Zimbabwe, his Mercedes S600L Pullman limousine comes fully equipped with a CD player, movies and Internet access.
"The head of Zimbabwe's ruling ZANU-PF is already well-protected against would-be assassins. His 21-foot luxury limousine, powered by a V12 dual turbo engine, is so effectively armoured that it can even withstand land-mines and grenades. The five-ton vehicle consumes at least a litre of petrol every five kilometres (the equivalent of about 11 miles per gallon).
"If Mugabe did in fact glance out of his car's tinted windows, he would see traces of his 'Operation Murambatsvina' along the roadside. The programme, which began on May 25 2005, is officially known in English as 'Operation Restore Order', but the rough translation of its name in the national language, Shona, is 'Get Rid of Trash'. Throughout Mugabe's realm, bulldozers are in the process of demolishing bothersome and unsightly slum neighbourhoods, rendering their exhausted inhabitants homeless.
"Throughout it all, 'Comrade Bob' sits in his Mercedes and has himself driven through levelled cities, still believing in the illusion that Zimbabwe is the 'jewel of Africa'. Tanzania's first president, Julius Nyerere, coined the name in 1980 when it fell into the hands of then 56-year-old rebel leader Robert Gabriel Mugabe.
"Nyerere died in 1999. A year later Mugabe, a self-proclaimed Marxist, began expropriating land from Zimbabwe's White farmers. Since then the former Rhodesia, once a paradise for safari tourists, has been transformed into a scene of devastation."

The Argentinian newspaper "Clarin" recently published an article reporting that the Falklands has passed the law granting 25 year fishing licences – and about major Argentine annoyance at this. Argentina is reported to have made another diplomatic protest over this. "Infobae" published an article about this too, and commented that this adds to the diplomatic friction caused by Britain’s warning a few days ago to travellers that they should beware of security risks in Argentina because of the approaching summit conference in Mar del Plata.

Aren't these people aware that this Mandela is a convicted terrorist criminal and that his term in office in South Africa witnessed an escalating genocide campaign against the South African farming community and inner-city Whites? There is certainly a great education job to be done if so many of the "great and good" in the world are apparently totally unaware of the facts concerning this evil man's terrorist past. In the meantime more investigations must be made into this seemingly very sinister Blue Sky Club.

They are desperately trying to get rid of the Scorpions, the only effective policing unit to speak of. But the Scorpions are getting too close to the fire, so now there's a determined effort to get them under the control of the SAPS, who, as you will I am sure agree, are completely useless and controlled by this government.
It will be a sad day indeed if this comes to pass. I have no faith in a future for this country, judging from what is happening everywhere. The virtual collapse of municipalities, healthcare, education, safety and security, well....you name it. What actually works! Yeah, wherever the White man is involved, it works. I'm sorry to hear that you are offended by some of the material I have sent you. I must say, I am most surprised. I thought you were a thinking person, who was concerned with facts and truth. The fact is that Jews are very active in undermining our Western Christian Civilization. You knew Ivor Benson, you should read his book "The Zionist Factor", or Douglas Reed's "The Zionist Connection."
You claim to support White South Africa, yet we were betrayed by the international Communist Jewish lobby most noticeable in Henry Kissinger, George Schultz and Cohen. Within South Africa, Harry Oppenheimer boasted after the ANC came to power, that he had been the "quiet engine running the ANC". You know very well that Helen Suzman, the PFP, the Black Sash, Helen Joseph, Nadine Gordimer, Arthur Chaskelson ad nauseam were apologists and agitators for the Communist ANC and in some cases for the SACP itself. Also perhaps you will remember that Joe Slovo, the KGB colonel who basically ran the ANC/SACP/Umkhonto we Siswe was a Lithuanian Jew. His wife Ruth First was likewise a Jew and a SACP/ANC activist, as was her father Julius First, the spokesman for the SACP.
If you swallow the propaganda that we have a "Judeo=Christian" common destiny, the article "Will the New Testament be ruled 'Anti-Semitic' and Banned?" should disabuse you of that. Even Mel Gibson was persecuted for daring to film the "Passion of the Christ" according to the Scriptures, though "The Last Temptation of Christ" and other blasphemous movies were lauded in the Jewish Press.
I don't know if you are a Christian at all, but if you are you need to clue yourself in on the anti-Christian and anti-White activities of organized Jewery. I write this to you in all sincerity and without any invective, because I have always valued the truth and never been afraid to look unpleasant or unfamiliar facts in the eye, I hope you are too.

EMPIRE LOYALIST
Sir,
I am pleased that we mutually agree that those who are too blind to realise that British strength and authority depends upon its global political, economic and military authority are ignoramuses. Imperialism was and is the backbone of British independence, and cannot be allowed to be overridden by 'Little Englanders'.
Equally, those who fail to realise that British people are suffering overcrowding, homelessness and lack of decent housing because of the mass unwanted foreign immigration that we suffer too lightly are ignoramuses. As I have mentioned beforehand, not only will British global economic, political and military authority be safeguarded in the Third British Empire but also our overcrowding, homelessness and lack of decent quality housing problem can be solved through the deportation of unwanted foreigners, the ending of all mass unwanted foreign immigration and the settlement of Britons from Great Britain in our colonies such as the Falkland Islands and the British Dominions such as the Dominion of Canada - which will enhance their British descended populations, upholding British interests in the process.
As for those who would be "offended" by this, let them suffer homelessness, poverty and deprivation while foreigners get a free for all and see how they like it, or better still banish them from the United Kingdom and the Third British Empire.

ROGUES GALLERY
One of our advertisers was contacted a few months ago by a couple going under the names of Kerry and Tamra Capstick-Dale, who placed an unambiguous order with them. In spite of the fact that the advertiser reserved specific time in order to undertake their contract (they had requested that the contract be completed by Christmas, which thus meant that the timescale was very tight) the Capstick-Dale's eventually totally reneged upon their commitment, and subsequently have refused to pay any form of compensation for all the wasted time expended on their behalf.
What makes the situation even more suspicious is that earlier the Capstick-Dale's (or more accurately their "secretary", a person going under the name of "Phillippa") requested that bank account details be given so that payment could be made "direct". As people are always advised not to divulge such confidential information via e-mail this request was quite naturally refused, and they were given four alternative methods by which payment could be made. It was only after this sinister development that the Capstick-Dale's announced that they were reneging upon their original commitment - thus leading to the speculation that their entire request had been a "scam" right from the beginning.
Legal action is now being contemplated against the Capstick-Dale's, so we wonder therefore whether anybody else has had any dealings with or knows anything further about this couple, or about a mysterious "secretary" calling herself "Phillippa" (they claim to run a Cape Town-based company called "Corporate Image", though the exact nature of this business has never been explained). Needless to say, any information received in this regard will be treated with the utmost confidence.

January 2006 edition
Two reports have recently reached us confirming the true current disintegrating nature of southern African sport.
Firstly we learnt that the South African rugby authorities had been willing to kow-tow to the ANC-regime by agreeing to enact a "total transformation in the next decade in which the sport will get rid of its 'White face' and adjust its composition on all levels". Inter alia this means that all representative teams from under-13 to national level will have to be at least 65% non-White within the next ten years.
Secondly came reports that the Zimbabwe Cricket Board had been dissolved by the ZANU-PF government and a new administration set-up without any White or Asian directors because of "their racial connotations and having their own agendas and not government policy". This clearly seems to suggest that the Mugabe-regime has decided that in future only Black players will be able to represent Zimbabwe.
This publication and the movement which it supports has for long warned all Whites that there is absolutely no place for them in either "Zimbabwe" or the "new" South Africa, and that they should leave those disintegrating countries as soon as they can - and this applies to sportsmen and sportswomen as much as, if not more than, every other facet of society.
We have for long been disgusted by the sight of White sportsmen being prepared to humiliate themselves by wearing the flags and emblems of the terrorist regimes which have taken over their countries simply in order to obtain the "glory" of international competition, but now it is becoming obvious that even this appeasement of theirs is not sufficient to endear them to their new masters. Several White southern African sportsmen have taken a far more honourable course and have moved to other Western nations in order to continue their sporting careers, many with a considerable degree of success - most notably Kevin Pietersen and Pieter de Villiers. We of course salute their courage and honour in this respect. We have also heard reports that many White "Zimbabwe" cricketers are considering moving to Canada now that the Canadians have qualified for the 2007 World Cup, and the same may also apply to Scotland, Ireland and the Netherlands. With both the rugby and cricket authorities seeking to increase the popularity of their games around the globe there would certainly appear to be increasing scope for other White southern African players to make similar moves.
But it is not only White sportsmen and sportswomen who are slowly but surely being levered out of all positions in the new Black nations of southern Africa. Increasingly it will be all Whites in all sections of society. By staying in those beleaguered lands Whites not only face increasing humiliation, but also increasing physical danger. We've said it before and we'll say it again. All Whites who can leave should do so as soon as possible and by whatever means possible.

SPRINGBOK CLUB DAY OF THE VOW COMMEMORATIONS
The Springbok Club's annual Day of the Vow commemorations in December 2005 proved to be a very happy and positive event, although alas the numbers in attendance turned out to be far smaller than was anticipated and hoped (it is believed mainly due to the knock-on effects of the "drunken rant" which ruined the previous month's UDI Day Dinner - it is surprising what damage a single malcontent can inflict!). Proceedings were commenced by a short devotion led by the Rev. David Braid, which was followed by the main keynote speech of the evening which was delivered by the Guest of Honour, Mr. Bernard Terry. Mr. Terry lived for many years in Rhodesia and is a leading member of the Victoria Cross Society, for whom he has written many articles. He gave an excellent and highly informative talk about the history of the Victoria Cross, making special reference to the southern African holders of the award. The proceedings were concluded by a sumptuous buffet meal, which rounded off a most enjoyable and indeed inspiring evening.

SPRINGBOK CLUB 2006 AGM
The 2006 AGM of the Springbok Club will take place on Tuesday 31st January at a venue in central London. All fully paid-up members of the organisation will be informed of the precise details of this meeting within the next few days. 2005, of course, proved to be an extremely problematic year for the Springbok Club - starting with the "Wallergate" disaster in February and ending with the "drunken rant" in November, with the CDA smear-campaign and a number of other set-backs in between. In view of all these troubles it is clear that a number of changes need to be made to the movement, and with this situation in mind two motions for debate have been tabled for this AGM, one to broaden the scope and remit of the organisation and the other to amend the constitution to establish a leaner and more efficient Executive Committee (full details of both motions will be posted to all fully paid-up members together with their invitations.) In view of the very important nature of this year's AGM it is therefore hoped that all members will make a special effort to attend.

FUTURE SPRINGBOK CLUB EVENTS
In February the Springbok Club will be staging a joint meeting with the London Swinton Circle at which the guest speaker will be the editor of a leading Canadian expatriate newspaper.
During March the Springbok Club is anticipating welcoming a guest speaker who has recently visited the Gaza Strip in order to express solidarity with the defiant Israeli settlers there, who will recount something of his experiences in the Gaza Strip settlements, and also about the Israeli settlers' struggle in general.
In April the Springbok Club is planning to stage a visit to the Bishops Stortford Museum in Hertfordshire, which houses an expanded Rhodes Museum in the house where Cecil John Rhodes was born, which the Springbok Club previously visited in January 2000.

LONDON SWINTON CIRCLE NEWS
The London Swinton Circle supportive publication "Tough Talking from the Right" held a special readers' meeting and buffet in the City of London recently, where the guest speaker was Mr. Nigel Farage MEP, the co-president of the Independence and Democracy Group in the European Parliament. There was a packed attendance at this gathering, who heard Mr. Farage deliver a most enlightening and succinct overview of the current dangers still facing Britain if membership of the EU were to continue. He also voiced strong optimism that the days of the EU were numbered, illustrating this fact not only by the recent decisive votes against the proposed European Constitution in France and the Netherlands, but also by the upsurge of anti-EU sentiment in Austria, the Baltic States and Malta. He further emphasised how relatively easy it would be for Britain to withdraw from the EU and to enter into far more beneficial free trade arrangements with the nations of Europe in its place.

The march will be led by the band of the 1159 (Edmonton) Squadron Air Training Corps, the Australian and New Zealand flags and standards of the Royal British Legion. At 15.00 hrs a service will take place at St.James, Garlickhythe, which will be attended by the Rt.Hon. the Lord Mayor of London, Alderman David Brewer, the Lady Mayoress and the Sheriffs and their ladies. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Martin Hislop, Vicar of St.Luke's, Kingston-upon-Thames, who lived in Australia for 34 years when he was Chaplain to Ballarat University, and who takes the annual ANZAC Day service in Battersea Park for the Australian High Commission. A reception will follow the service where all attending will have the opportunity to sign a message of friendship and goodwill to the Prime Ministers of Australia and New Zealand. The date for this celebration has been chosen as it is near Australia's National Day on 26 January and New Zealand's National Day (Waitangi Day) on 6 February. New Britain has held an Australia/New Zealand celebration in the City of London each year for the past ten years. The aim is to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the UK, Australia and New Zealand. DISTURBING NEWS REGARDING THE SOUTH AFRICAN S.P.C.A.
We have recently received the following most disturbing report concerning current policies being enacted by the South African S.P.C.A.:-
"Only in South Africa could an organisation calling itself the National Council of the SPCA adopt a policy of kill-on-sight for orphaned and injured primates.
"Only in South Africa could a tax-funded conservation service foster, nurture and participate in the evils of canned lion hunting - and approve the use of gin traps.
"Only in South Africa could an organisation calling itself the Endangered Wildlife Trust import enough 1080 poison to kill up to two million
small mammals, and then promote its use against our wildlife.
"Only in South Africa could a provincial conservation service give permits for baboons in provincial game reserves to be trapped and then sold for cruel bio-medical experiments.
"As way of further clarity the resolution adopted by the SPCA reads as follows :-
"* All sick or injured vervet monkeys and baboons admitted into an SPCA must be humanely euthanased.
"* All non-injured primates must be kept for five days only and then euthanased. This period is to allow for a permit holder, in terms of
the relevant nature conservation legislation, to claim the primate.
"Only primates in KwaZulu-Natal [sic] will be exempt from the above ruling with the proviso that it is possible to repatriate the primates back into the wild."

GIBRALTAR ROAD MAP VICTORY
A few months ago we learnt the disturbing news from the Gibraltar Action Group that the AA's on-line European route map had labelled Gibraltar as "Gibraltar (Spain)"! The Gibraltar Action Group requested that all supporters write to the AA asking them to correct this highly
offensive error - a request which we were eagerly willing to comply with!

ZIMBABWE'S DOWNFALL
Our very good friend and supporter from Germany, Agnes Römer, recently sent us a very interesting report from the prestigious German magazine "Spiegel" entitled "Zimbabwe's Downfall". We are most grateful to Agnes for informing us about this significant article, and reproduce extracts from it below :-
"Robert Mugabe is inexorably destroying his country. Although the dictator is essentially persona non grata in Europe, African politicians celebrate the potentate as a nationalist messiah.
"It's unlikely that the dictator hears much about what goes on in his foundering realm. When Robert Mugabe, 81, has himself chauffeured through the streets of Zimbabwe, his Mercedes S600L Pullman limousine comes fully equipped with a CD player, movies and Internet access.
"The head of Zimbabwe's ruling ZANU-PF is already well-protected against would-be assassins. His 21-foot luxury limousine, powered by a V12 dual turbo engine, is so effectively armoured that it can even withstand land-mines and grenades. The five-ton vehicle consumes at least a litre of petrol every five kilometres (the equivalent of about 11 miles per gallon).
"If Mugabe did in fact glance out of his car's tinted windows, he would see traces of his 'Operation Murambatsvina' along the roadside. The programme, which began on May 25 2005, is officially known in English as 'Operation Restore Order', but the rough translation of its name in the national language, Shona, is 'Get Rid of Trash'. Throughout Mugabe's realm, bulldozers are in the process of demolishing bothersome and unsightly slum neighbourhoods, rendering their exhausted inhabitants homeless.
"Throughout it all, 'Comrade Bob' sits in his Mercedes and has himself driven through levelled cities, still believing in the illusion that Zimbabwe is the 'jewel of Africa'. Tanzania's first president, Julius Nyerere, coined the name in 1980 when it fell into the hands of then 56-year-old rebel leader Robert Gabriel Mugabe.
"Nyerere died in 1999. A year later Mugabe, a self-proclaimed Marxist, began expropriating land from Zimbabwe's White farmers. Since then the former Rhodesia, once a paradise for safari tourists, has been transformed into a scene of devastation."

The Argentinian newspaper "Clarin" recently published an article reporting that the Falklands has passed the law granting 25 year fishing licences – and about major Argentine annoyance at this. Argentina is reported to have made another diplomatic protest over this. "Infobae" published an article about this too, and commented that this adds to the diplomatic friction caused by Britain’s warning a few days ago to travellers that they should beware of security risks in Argentina because of the approaching summit conference in Mar del Plata.

THE SONG OF AN EXILE

Aren't these people aware that this Mandela is a convicted terrorist criminal and that his term in office in South Africa witnessed an escalating genocide campaign against the South African farming community and inner-city Whites? There is certainly a great education job to be done if so many of the "great and good" in the world are apparently totally unaware of the facts concerning this evil man's terrorist past. In the meantime more investigations must be made into this seemingly very sinister Blue Sky Club.

I'm sorry to hear that you are offended by some of the material I have sent you. I must say, I am most surprised. I thought you were a thinking person, who was concerned with facts and truth. The fact is that Jews are very active in undermining our Western Christian Civilization. You knew Ivor Benson, you should read his book "The Zionist Factor", or Douglas Reed's "The Zionist Connection."
You claim to support White South Africa, yet we were betrayed by the international Communist Jewish lobby most noticeable in Henry Kissinger, George Schultz and Cohen. Within South Africa, Harry Oppenheimer boasted after the ANC came to power, that he had been the "quiet engine running the ANC". You know very well that Helen Suzman, the PFP, the Black Sash, Helen Joseph, Nadine Gordimer, Arthur Chaskelson ad nauseam were apologists and agitators for the Communist ANC and in some cases for the SACP itself. Also perhaps you will remember that Joe Slovo, the KGB colonel who basically ran the ANC/SACP/Umkhonto we Siswe was a Lithuanian Jew. His wife Ruth First was likewise a Jew and a SACP/ANC activist, as was her father Julius First, the spokesman for the SACP.
If you swallow the propaganda that we have a "Judeo=Christian" common destiny, the article "Will the New Testament be ruled 'Anti-Semitic' and Banned?" should disabuse you of that. Even Mel Gibson was persecuted for daring to film the "Passion of the Christ" according to the Scriptures, though "The Last Temptation of Christ" and other blasphemous movies were lauded in the Jewish Press.
I don't know if you are a Christian at all, but if you are you need to clue yourself in on the anti-Christian and anti-White activities of organized Jewery. I write this to you in all sincerity and without any invective, because I have always valued the truth and never been afraid to look unpleasant or unfamiliar facts in the eye, I hope you are too.

I am pleased that we mutually agree that those who are too blind to realise that British strength and authority depends upon its global political, economic and military authority are ignoramuses. Imperialism was and is the backbone of British independence, and cannot be allowed to be overridden by 'Little Englanders'.

As I have mentioned beforehand, not only will British global economic, political and military authority be safeguarded in the Third British Empire but also our overcrowding, homelessness and lack of decent quality housing problem can be solved through the deportation of unwanted foreigners, the ending of all mass unwanted foreign immigration and the settlement of Britons from Great Britain in our colonies such as the Falkland Islands and the British Dominions such as the Dominion of Canada - which will enhance their British descended populations, upholding British interests in the process.
As for those who would be "offended" by this, let them suffer homelessness, poverty and deprivation while foreigners get a free for all and see how they like it, or better still banish them from the United Kingdom and the Third British Empire.

ROGUES GALLERY
One of our advertisers was contacted a few months ago by a couple going under the names of Kerry and Tamra Capstick-Dale, who placed an unambiguous order with them. In spite of the fact that the advertiser reserved specific time in order to undertake their contract (they had requested that the contract be completed by Christmas, which thus meant that the timescale was very tight) the Capstick-Dale's eventually totally reneged upon their commitment, and subsequently have refused to pay any form of compensation for all the wasted time expended on their behalf.
What makes the situation even more suspicious is that earlier the Capstick-Dale's (or more accurately their "secretary", a person going under the name of "Phillippa") requested that bank account details be given so that payment could be made "direct". As people are always advised not to divulge such confidential information via e-mail this request was quite naturally refused, and they were given four alternative methods by which payment could be made. It was only after this sinister development that the Capstick-Dale's announced that they were reneging upon their original commitment - thus leading to the speculation that their entire request had been a "scam" right from the beginning.
Legal action is now being contemplated against the Capstick-Dale's, so we wonder therefore whether anybody else has had any dealings with or knows anything further about this couple, or about a mysterious "secretary" calling herself "Phillippa" (they claim to run a Cape Town-based company called "Corporate Image", though the exact nature of this business has never been explained). Needless to say, any information received in this regard will be treated with the utmost confidence.
