The British Government of Boris Johnson is currently facing great criticism for holding staff parties at 10 Downing Street. The reaction of all sensible, rational people to these criticisms is “So What! What on earth’s wrong with holding a party?”.
But Johnson’s Government does however warrant severe criticism – not for holding parties, but for introducing ridiculous legislation banning everyone from gathering together for any reason whatever! The reason why this lunatic legislation was introduced was allegedly to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, but as anyone with even a rudimentary knowledge of physics and biology knows a virus is simply a single-celled organism which is so minute and so light that it floats around in the atmosphere regardless of how many people may be gathered together in close proximity, and that all but those with low immunity (less than 0.03% of the population) can be “infected” by the virus with practically no signs or symptoms whatsoever! One is therefore left aghast as to why such unjustified and unscientific legislation banning parties and other gatherings was ever introduced in the first place!
Many have argued that as so many members of the British population “obeyed” these idiotic laws then the Government is to be severely castigated for not “obeying” their own rules. But of course most British people have a few grey-cells in their heads and did not comply with all this nonsense in private. To be sure many people were intimidated by “Little Hitlers” into complying with these draconian regulations in public, and alas all too many of them seem to have sheepishly gone along with this lunacy without thinking, when a bit more widespread defiance would have made all the restrictions unworkable. To those who meekly complied but who now complain about parties being held in Downing Street whilst they stupidly obeyed the rules, all we can say is “more fool you!”.
But there has been something far more sinister and disturbing at play here. When Boris Johnson ascended to the Premiership he did so with much goodwill from the bulk of the population, but almost immediately the high hopes which he engendered were shattered when he announced the composition of his Cabinet, which showed that we no longer lived under a British Government, but under a United Nations one! It has furthermore been the foreigners within the so-called “British” Government who have been mainly responsible for the most catastrophic measures which they’ve blamed upon the Covid-19 virus. All the largess dolled out for furlough schemes etc were very nice for the recipients of course, but this economic irresponsibility has had only one predictable result, namely financial disaster for the country, and a urgent need for massively increased taxation and a steep rise in the cost of living. One is left wondering therefore whether these foreign cabinet ministers and government advisors had a secretive demonic plan to undermine the country in which they currently reside, but which is not their own!
In spite of all the initial high hopes for Johnson’s premiership, it is now most welcome that there are so many calls from within the Conservative Parliamentary caucus for him to go – albeit that by citing the “Partygate” issue this has clearly been for the wrong reason. What the UK urgently now requires is a new Prime Minister who is British, who puts British interests first, and who appoints a cabinet and advisors who are themselves fully British!

SPRINGBOK CLUB NEWS
The Springbok Club staged a most enjoyable double celebration for both Burns Night and Australia Day last month. After a sumptuous haggis supper to celebrate Burns Night Mr. Gary Vincent gave a fascinating PowerPoint presentation about the ships which took part in the first settlement of Australia in 1788. This was then followed by a number of those present journeying on to the near-by bust of Admiral Arthur Phillip (who founded the settlement at Sydney and became the first Governor of New South Wales) in the City of London where the original version of the Australian National Anthem was sung. It was of course by that time Australia Day in Australia itself!

The Springbok Club will be holding a Zoom meeting to be addressed by a prominent Southern African later during February, with fuller details to be circulated to all members and supporters once arrangements have been finalised. The Springbok Club’s 2022 AGM will be held in March (to be followed by another well-researched PowerPoint presentation), and in April the organisation will be staging a trip to a London museum of great interest. Further details about both these events will of course be detailed in next month’s SCN.

MESSAGE FROM THE NETWORK FOR ANIMALS ORGANISATION
We have recently received the following most worrying message from the Network for Animals organisation, which illustrates how important it is for the countries of the West to re-assert control in Southern Africa to prevent further wildlife disasters :-
“Right now, Cape fur seals are in crisis!
”Thousands are washing up on the shores of the Western Cape, in South Africa - some already dead, and others sick or injured. All are emaciated. When you imagine a seal, you think of a fat, well-covered and insulated animal. These seals are just skin and bone, with no blubber at all to provide them with protection or sustenance when food is unavailable.
“They are desperate for life-saving food! No one knows what is causing this die-off, but the consequences are devastating for baby seals. They literally need to be fattened up if they are to survive. There is one small seal rehabilitation center in Cape Town, the Hout Bay Seal Rescue Centre (HBSRC), which is being overwhelmed by the crisis. There is a shortage of suitable fish to feed the seals and they have almost completely run out of food. We must source the fish elsewhere and RUSH THE EMERGENCY FOOD to the seals.
“Autopsies reveal that their stomachs are completely empty! The seals are STARVING TO DEATH!
“The sudden rapid increase in dead and sickly seals is baffling scientists and deeply worrying. The seals have been washing up on the shores for months and no one knows why.
“HBSRC Operations Director, Kim Krynauw, has been running the centre since 2019 with the help of a small team and many dedicated volunteers. They are completely inundated. Nothing could have prepared them for the tragedy that is currently unfolding. The centre has been receiving four to five sick seals a day for months - that’s over 100 sick and dying animals a month - and they have been working around the clock to treat, medicate and feed these poor distressed animals. Sadly, some have already died, but we hope that by providing more food and support to the center, we can help more of these seals to live and ultimately be released back into the ocean.
“We are committed to helping these poor creatures to survive, but we can’t do it without YOUR HELP. Seals are dying right now – will you help us save them?
“It is a race against time to find the root cause of seal deaths and we are doing everything we can to help the situation. Essential investigation, research and medical testing is currently being done to determine any underlying health concerns in the marine ecosystem, but more work is needed to bring this tragedy to an end as quickly as possible.
“We need to raise $6,000 (£4,500) to feed these starving seals. Forty seals eat about ONE TON of fish per month, and with all the seals the center is receiving, they are struggling to keep up. They are desperate for food and supplies to help feed the starving and treat the sick.
“We can’t stand to let them suffer any longer. They deserve a chance to survive, and to live free and happily in the ocean!

EXETER CHIEFS
When the Rugby club now known as Exeter Chiefs was founded in 1871 they were known simply as Exeter Rugby Football Club. In 1999, however, they re-branded themselves as Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club and adopted a logo and other symbols featuring Native American Redskins.
This move annoyed many Rugby fans as they couldn’t see why a club based in Devon wanted to identify with a people who lived thousands of miles away, and furthermore were a primitive people who possessed few virtues worthy of association. Surely, many supporters thought, the club could have adopted a new image associated with a member of the animal kingdom or a historical British group or entity? In spite of these objections the club retained the demeaning Native American symbolism for the next 20 years, but then, bizarrely, far more angry objections were made from an unlikely source, namely from a Native American governing body (supported by the inevitable “politically correct” trouble-makers) who complained that the adoption of the name and logo was a case of “cultural appropriation” – a terrible sin in their eyes!
After a couple of years of praise-worthy defiance to the demands of those with absolutely no connection to the club, the board has recently announce that they intend to drop all Native American Redskin symbolism later this year – but to retain the name of “Exeter Chiefs” and to associate it from now onwards with the Kings of Dumnonia, an ancient civilised Keltic tribe who ruled Devon and much of south-west Britain during pre-Roman times. Although it is always annoying when the “politically correct brigade” seem to achieve a victory, but what has actually happened is that which all British patriots and true Rugby fans really wished had happened in 1999 – and so we can therefore only welcome this development!

TONGA
Although there is obviously no ethnic connection between the British and Tongan people, there has for long been a close affinity and friendship between the two peoples.
Nobody who can remember Queen Elizabeth’s Coronation can possibly forget the presence of Queen Salote Tupou III of Tonga, who insisted that the hood of her carriage was not raised in spite of the heavy rain, so that she could then wave at the adoring crowds. Tonga also was one of the few colonies in the British Empire which did not want to lose its colonial status, and had to be forced to accept full independence by the Labour Government of Harold Wilson. Britain and Tonga of course share a common love of Rugby Football, and astonishingly Tonga is the only country in the world where Methodism is the national religion!
The recent eruption of the Hunga Volcano in the Pacific Ocean a few miles north of Tonga, which has evidently caused massive devastation in the islands, therefore has engendered more sympathy among the British people than would have occurred if the eruption had happened practically anywhere else in the “third world”. We therefore wish the Tongan people well in recovering from the volcanic disruption, and call upon the British Government to divert all foreign aid funds away from far less deserving countries and towards Tonga for the foreseeable future, and thereby to help the country restore its infrastructure as quickly as possible.

HONOURING THE MEMORY OF LEE RIGBY
It was with great admiration that we recently learnt about an annual charity soccer match which has been played since 2016 between ex-Portsmouth players and ex-Rangers players at AFC Portchester’s ground as a memorial match in honour of Drummer Lee Rigby, a British soldier who was murdered by Islamic scum in 2013.

Mnr. W.A. Fourie (alas we never knew his Christian names) became a subscriber of S.A.Patriot during the mid-1980s, and remained a good friend of the magazine. HAMPSTEAD HEATH
Sir,
I remember the incident when a person at a Swinton Circle meeting caused a scene by objecting to Richard Leakey being termed “the only White Man behaving like a White Man in Africa today” well. (See January 2022 SCN – Ed.).
The person responsible for this disruption was a certain Ray Heath: I wouldn’t call him a “moan and groan character” – more a “doom and gloom” defeatist, as he was constantly claiming that there was no hope for the White Man in this country. He was actually nicknamed “Frazer” by Swinton Circle activists at the time (after the character Frazer from Dad’s Army whose catch-phrase was “we’re all doomed, doomed”!) because of his chronic pessimism.
It has for long been my opinion that those who spread such fatalism and hopelessness in Right-wing circles are actually agent provocateurs deliberately infiltrated by the Left in order to dampen the enthusiasm of those willing to fight for their country. I heard rumour that Heath had moved from London to Devon, but then again I’ve also heard that he’s still living in south London. I therefore don’t really know where he now is – and neither do I particularly care.

I watched Tucker's superb piece on the Wuhan Flu military power grab in America. I just got back to Thailand, but from my 7 months in the USA, I can say that there is good news and bad news about removing the Biden Administration:
The good news is that the Biden Administration's policies have been so disastrous (especially in terms of inflation and economics) that it is possible that the Biden Administration will simply implode from policies which could never work and remove itself, given enough time.
The bad news is that the Biden Administration may irreparably harm America in the process and financially wipe out a huge number of families and businesses who will never recover.
Well, disastrous Presidents have disastrous results.
How sad it is that much of the American public will only figure it out when the true poverty of socialism/communism reaches and destroys their own pocketbooks, as it has in all major countries it ever reached.
...hmm. Communism in America. Well, I guess that is what I personally call "Satanism."

REMEMBERING MIKE SKELLY
There can have been few greater heroes of the patriotic struggle in Durban during the 1980s than Michael “Mike” Skelly.
Although born in South Africa, he was brought up in Australia where his father had taken up an appointment in local government. Shortly after he returned to South Africa however, realising the affinity between those of British ethnic stock in all parts of the world, he joined and became active with the Durban Branch of the Save Rhodesia Campaign, even though he was only in his late teens at the time. He and his good colleague Hilton Spence become some of the first people to see through the notorious Brendan Willmer, who had usurped total control over the Save Rhodesia Campaign, and left the organisation to affiliate with the White Rhino Club (Mk 1). Here he became closely involved with the launching of the organisation’s magazine, S.A.Patriot, becoming one of the publication’s leading supporters and also drawing cartoons which became a regular feature of the magazine.
Following the collapse of the White Rhino Club (Mk 1) and the coalescence of several other Durban-based patriotic bodies and party branches to form the Patriotic Forum (Mk.1) during the mid-1980s, Mike Skelly proved himself to be one of the most loyal, dedicated and reliable members of the new organisation. It is no exaggeration to say that without his constant support and activism the White resistance movement opposing integration attempts by the increasingly Left-wing dominated Durban City Council would not have been nearly so dynamic.
But above all Mike Skelly was a thoroughly decent, friendly and honest person, and it is impossible to think that he ever had any enemies – even among his political opponents. He was also a great sports enthusiast, and fully appreciated the importance of active sport to the patriotic political struggle. He was an accomplished Lawn Tennis and Squash Rackets player, and was also a keen swimmer and cyclist. He furthermore was a loyal fan of all Natal sides, regularly attending Natal matches at both Rugby Union and Cricket. Although he never married he seemed never to be without a girlfriend, the closest being Anne Russell, a divorced woman a couple of years older than him who was also an active supporter of the patriotic movement in Durban, and who he returned to time and time again.
Mike Skelly was a health inspector by profession, but he was also a keen proponent of homoeopathic medicine, and resigned from his position with the Durban City Council in order to study homoeopathy at the Natal Technikon in 1989. This move, alas, was to result in his untimely death, for so convinced was he that homoeopathic remedies could cure diabetes that he experimented upon himself in this regard for his final thesis, and tragically died as a result in 1996, shortly prior to his planned relocation to the UK. He was only in his late 30s.
A fuller tribute to Mike Skelly appeared in edition No.35 of S.A.Patriot (by then re-branded as S.A.Patriot-in-Exile), copies of which are still available on request. It would however be very interesting to learn what has become of Hilton Spence (who evidently moved to up-State New York where his father was practicing as a GP) and to Anne Russell.
