August 2019 Edition.

SPRINGBOK CYBER NEWSLETTER

August 2019 edition

The election of Mr. Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson as Leader of the Conservative and Unionist Party, and thereby the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, initially brought us great joy and excitement. Mr. Johnson, after all, had been in the forefront of the “Vote Leave” campaign during the 2016 EU Referendum, and had furthermore been forthright in his opposition to former Prime Minister Theresa May’s flawed withdrawal deal, which aimed at leaving the EU with certain unacceptable provisions. In addition he seemed to embody an optimistic “can do” spirit for Britain’s future once freed from EU entrapment – a positive vision which mirrored our own forward-looking ideals exemplified by our movement’s motto of “Out of Europe and into the World”.

Alas, however, very shortly after he ascended to the Premiership Mr. Johnson took a number of steps which have given rise to great concern. Firstly there was the composition of his first cabinet, which incredibly included six non-Whites (i.e. non-Britons) out of a total of 33. This therefore represents a percentage figure of just over 18%, which as the current non-White population of the UK is estimated to be only between 6 and 7% means that they are far over-represented – even if we are to accept that any such foreigners are entitled to sit in the British Cabinet in the first place!

Secondly there has been Mr. Johnson’s announcement that he plans to extend an amnesty to illegal immigrants who have been in the UK for a certain length of time undetected, and who have not committed any crimes. Even with these provisos we believe that this proposal is completely unacceptable. The British Isles are already far too over-populated from an environmental standpoint, but surely it is the duty of any genuinely patriotic Prime Minister to initiate a policy of speedy repatriation for those non-Whites currently living in the country, not to allow yet more to settle here! We wonder therefore what Mr. Johnson’s agenda really is?

Thirdly we have recently been alerted to a video made by Mr. Johnson in which he sends his greeting to all Muslims around the globe on the occasion of their holy festival of Eid. Nothing wrong with this in itself of course – but in the course of this video he repeats the inaccurate propaganda figure claimed by expansionist Mohammedans that there are currently some 3.3 million Muslims residing in the UK. The true number is of course less than half this figure, so again we are therefore left wondering what Mr. Johnson’s agenda is, as he appears to be exaggerating Islamic numbers out of all proportion in order to justify their demands for more funding and influence than their true size actually merits.

Mr. Johnson ascended to the Premiership with high hopes and enthusiasm from the bulk of the British people, but alas he has quickly forfeited much of this initial goodwill. We believe however that it is best not to “rock the boat” prior to October 31st and the UK’s final exit from the hated EU. After that has happened, however, then the next important political battleground for all true patriots to campaign on must surely be to halt non-White immigration entirely and – perhaps more importantly – to initiate an effective policy of repatriation for those already here. If Mr. Johnson hasn’t by then reversed his initial appalling policy measures as detailed above then his tenancy in Downing Street is likely to be very, very short.

SPRINGBOK CLUB NEWS

Alas the Springbok Club has encountered two unfortunate unavoidable problems concerning planned guest speakers over the past few months, and as a result has not been able to stage events during both July and August. Firstly the planned guest speaker for July had to return to South Africa both suddenly and unexpectedly – though happily he anticipates returning to the UK in a few months time when he still plans to speak for the organisation. Far more tragically, however, we recently learnt that the planned guest speaker for the organisation’s annual “Rhodes & Founders” commemoration meeting, Mr. John Oliver, had sadly died. We had only first met John Oliver at last year’s “Raising of the Flag” ceremony in Bath, but were extremely impressed with him. He had been a candidate for the Rhodesian Action Party at the 1977 Rhodesian General Election, and had promised to give a talk about the history and policies of this party at this year’s “Rhodes & Founders” meeting, an event which therefore promised to be extremely interesting and enlightening. Now tragically this will never be. Our sincerest condolences are of course extended to John’s widow Thorley.

----------------------------

Alas also it seems as if the refurbishment of Southrepps Hall will not be completed in time for it to stage this year’s annual “Raising of the Flag” ceremony, and as other commitments mean that the alternative venue which was found in Bath for last year’s event will not be available either it means that we are now searching for another suitable venue containing an outdoors flag-pole. We take our promise to Peter Sladden that we would ensure the continuation of this important ceremony for posterity seriously, so are therefore determined to find another alternative venue. If anyone can help in any way in this regard then please let us know. In view of the fact that it seems highly unlikely that this event will be able to take place in September this year the Springbok Club is therefore planning another activity in the form of a visit to an event of historic and cultural interest towards the end of September.

PATRIOTIC FORUM NEWS

As mentioned in last month’s SCN, as it’s been discovered that this year marks the 260th anniversary of the Battle of Quebec, the Patriotic Forum has therefore decided to stage its annual Canadian solidarity celebration near to the anniversary of this battle on Sunday 15th September this year, rather than holding its usual Canada Day celebration. At this event a leading official in the organisation will be giving a report-back on his recent trip to Canada, during which he visited some historically significant sites there..

The Patriotic Forum is still intending to stage a special meeting in honour of the memory of the late, great Dennis Delderfield in the near future, though this will now probably take place in October. The guest speaker at this event will be someone who knew Dennis Delderfield well, and who will give a talk under the theme of “Keep the United Kingdom United”, a subject which was always very close to Dennis’s heart. More details about both these events will be given in next month’s edition of the SCN.

MESSAGE FROM THE SANWILD WILDLIFE SANCTUARY

We have recently received the following important message from the SanWild Wildlife Sanctuary. It reads as follows :-

“Dear fans and supporters of SanWild,

”We would like to thank each and everyone that has helped us so far to sponsor our very imported Counter Poaching Team. Without you we simply won’t be able to afford them and keep our wildlife safe, especially our rhinos.

”With your helped we raised enough funds to carry them the last two months but we are still in urgent need of your help to keep the feet on the ground and help our CPU team to keep on doing what they do so well, and that is protect our wildlife.

“If you could spare a donation, no matter how small we will really really appreciate it. Their running costs at this stage is about R6,500 per ranger, per month. We also supply them with diesel, food, and clothes as well as medical bills.

”Thank you again to everyone that has supported us thus far, be it by just sharing, a donation or just words of encouragement!

“Lots of love to you all,

”Lizel Kachelhoffer

”Trustee and daughter of the late Louise Joubert”

THE RESULT OF THE 2019 CRICKET WORLD CUP

As was widely predicted, the 2019 Cricket World Cup took a long time to excite the public imagination, and this delay was undoubtedly because it was not a truly World Cup. Only 10 countries took part in the finals, and of these only one was from the continent of Europe – this in spite of the fact that the finals took place in England-and-Wales! When the public imagination had been aroused, however, there quickly proved to be substantial widespread interest, and the final few matches of the tournament certainly provided some exciting results.

The final in particular, which was between England and New Zealand, produced a truly mesmerizing match, with England eventually being declared the winners. Sadly, however, there were several debatable decisions made in relation to this match which badly marred the result, which initially ended in a tie. Firstly there was as apparently incorrect extra run added to the England total during an overthrow incident during the final overs (and certainly the law concerning runs credited as a result of overthrows needs to be reviewed and clarified). More importantly, however, it had earlier been decided that if the totals after 50 overs were tied than a “super over” (previously only a T20 concept) should be enacted, rather than then deciding the match on the least number of wickets lost – as had been the case in previous competitions. If this had still been the case then New Zealand would have been declared the winners. Finally, even after the “super over” was tied it was revealed that the match would then be decided on the most number of boundaries scored – something which few people, including many of the players, were previously unaware of. In view of all these most unsatisfactory decisions the best idea must surely be to agree to arrange a re-play – with all the extra public excitement and revenue for the MCC which this would provide!

HORRIFIC MURDER IN THE “NEW” SOUTH AFRICA

It was with great sadness and outrage that we recently learnt of the brutal murder of Annette Kennealy. Annette was a farmer and a farm-protection activist in the Far North Transvaal, and was also a good FaceBook friend of this current writer. A full report about her terrible murder can be found at :-

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/0/true-story-single-mother-beaten-death-south-african-home/

It was most interesting to note, of course, that this horrific murder was not carried out by any of the genocidal terrorists of the ANC or EFF murder-gangs, but rather by a “trusted” Black farm worker. Annette’s determination not to be driven from the land which was rightfully hers and to help protest her neighbours and fellow-countrymen-and-women was of course admirable, but alas, given the realities of the “new” South Africa, was doomed to failure. We have advocated for the past 25 years that there is absolutely no future for Whites in South Africa under the current dispensation, and that all Whites should leave the country as quickly as possible and by whatever means is possible and to join the resistance movement “in exile”. Annette’s tragic death only confirms that what we have been saying for the past 25 years has been correct. Our heartfelt sympathies are of course extended to Annette’s daughters, mother, extended family and friends.

CANADIAN PRO-SOUTH AFRICAN DEMONSTRATION

In last month’s SCN we advertised a pro-South African vigil and demonstration which was to take place in Ottawa, Canada, co-ordinated by the National Citizens Alliance. A YouTube video has now been placed on-line about this vigil and demonstration, which can be viewed at :-

WARNING ABOUT SINISTER ON-LINE PETITIONING SITE

We have recently been alerted to an on-line protest and petitioning organisation calling itself “38 Degrees”, which claims to be politically neutral and supporting all sorts of good and respectable causes. A closer examination of the campaigns which this web-service provides a platform for shows that far from being neutral it is in reality a propaganda vehicle for far-left outfits, some of which can only be described as subversive. An even greater cause for concern about this sinister organisation is that it not only refuses to allow petitions of a moral or patriotic nature to appear on its distribution list, but it also circulates unsolicited postings of an objectionable nature to all e-mail addresses which it manages to get hold of. We therefore warn readers to be extremely wary of this poisonous petitioning site, and if possible to protest to the relevant Internet authorities about its vile nature, and the fact that it infringes Internet etiquette by posting unsolicited circulars.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW ?

No.249 - Mr. ANDY PAINE of Gravesend

The Patriotic Forum’s recent trip to Gravesend and the great sadness expressed at the news of the death of Harry Tuff, reminded us of another British patriot who was active in Gravesend during the 1970s, namely Andy Paine (his surname may have been spelt Payne). Andy was a good friend and colleague of Harry Tuff at this time, and indeed acted as his de facto 2-i-c in the Gravesend Branch of the National Party of the UK. Alas when we re-made contact with Harry Tuff during the mid-1990s he told us that Andy had apparently married and moved away from the area, and that he had unfortunately lost contact with him. It would however be good to learn what has become of him.

RECOMMENDED WEB-SITES OF THE MONTH

A short while ago we were informed about a most praise-worthy film made in the United States during the 1950s which warned teenaged boys about the insidious dangers posed by predatory homosexuals. Titled “Boys Beware”, this film has now been placed on YouTube, and in spite of its age the warnings which this film contains alas still seem to apply today. It therefore warrants wider distribution among youngsters of today – and perhaps the authorities should also seriously consider commissioning a more up-to-date version. It can be accessed at :-

LETTER TO THE EDITOR

POLLS APART

Sir,

The results yesterday from the general election here in Australia was indeed a surprise to ALL. It does show once again, how wrong polls can be. The latest gave Labor 52 per cent with Liberal 48 per cent, and the exact opposite happened.

Yours etc.,

Reg A.Watson, Lindisfarne, Tasmania, Australia..

OBITUARY

MALCOLM ANDREW NASH

It was with much sadness that we recently learnt of the death of Malcolm Nash, the Glamorgan left-arm medium-paced bowler. Malcolm Nash was born in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, in 1945. His prowess for his local Cricket club soon brought him to the attention of Glamorgan CCC, for whom he played from 1966 until 1983.

He was part of the undefeated Glamorgan team which won the County Championship in 1969, being their leading wicket-taker that season capturing 71 wickets at an average of 18.98. In total he took 993 first-class wickets for Glamorgan at an average of 25.87, and made 7,103 runs, with a highest score of 130 made against Surrey in 1976. His best innings bowling figures were 9 for 56 against Hampshire in 1975 (the tenth wicket being a run out!) He also captained Glamorgan during the 1980 and 1981 seasons, and took a total of 148 first-class catches during his career. After retiring from the first-class game he played Minor Counties Cricket for both Wales MC and Shropshire, before embarking upon a successful coaching career on both sides of the Atlantic.

Malcolm Nash was also a good friend of South Africa, and was a close colleague and confidant of Graham Evans (see “Where are they now?” section of the May 2014 SCN), and indeed worked for his British Southern African Association during the closed-seasons whilst the organisation still functioned.

Our sincerest condolences are extended to his widow and daughter, and to the rest of his family and friends.
