January 2016 edition
On Tuesday 5th January 2016 Channel 4 News carried a report from ISIS/ISIL held territory on the Iraq/Syria border. This report was specifically interesting because it revealed that in the early days of the establishment of the ISIS/ISIL terror “state” posters and banners depicting Saddam Hussein and other leading figures from the former Ba’athist regime in Iraq were prominently displayed throughout the areas under their control.
There have for long been claims circulating in Western patriotic circles that the ISIS/ISIL terror “state” was run and controlled by former military commanders and state officials from the previous Iraqi Ba’athist regime – but this to the best of our knowledge is the first time that such revelations have been confirmed by the mainstream media. Our movement of course warned against the stupidity of halting military operations against Saddam Hussein’s Iraq following the Liberation of Kuwait in 1991, rather than carrying on to Baghdad and toppling the Ba’athist regime there and then – and of course subsequent events resulting from Saddam Hussein’s bankrolling of the al Qa’eda terrorist organization such as the USS Cole and 9/11 terrorist atrocities etc have undoubtedly proved us correct in this regard! Likewise it is now crystal clear that the “Mission Accomplished” pronouncement following the eventual toppling of Saddam Hussein in 2003 was far too premature, as his main henchmen were allowed to escape and – as has now been revealed – went on to found and organize the ISIS/ISIL terror structure.
There have been those in the West – predominantly the liberal egalitarian Left and their tame media, though also including the Islamo-fascists (see December 2015 SCN) – who constantly act as apologists for Islamic terror groups such as the Ba’athist regime, al Qa’eda and ISIS/ISIL and “welcome” the swarm of Muslim “refugees” currently invading Europe. These “enemies within”, exemplified by the evil Corbynistas who have currently taken over the British Labour Party, deny any form of wrong-doing by their Mohammedan friends no matter how definitive and indisputable the evidence against them is. The most notorious example of this has been the pro-Islamists knee-jerk rejection of any claim that Saddam Hussein’s Ba’athist regime was developing Weapons of Mass Destruction – in spite of the fact that the Israelis knew that it was necessary to destroy the Iraqi nuclear plant where they had discovered that attempts were being made to develop an atomic bomb, and the well-documented evidence that the Ba’athists had used chemical weapons against their own people in the village of Halabja!
At a Swinton Circle meeting in June 2006 Jillian Becker, the greatly respected journalist and terrorism expert, gave a highly informative speech about the Islamic threat to the West both from al Qa’eda (Sunni) and Hezbollah (Shi’ite). When asked what had happened to Saddam Hussein’s WMDs that the inept left-wing Swedish arms inspector Hans Blix had so spectacularly failed to find, she immediately replied that everything – factory infrastructure and all – had been moved across the border to Syria. (This question alas prompted an interruption from an apparent pro-Islamic member of the audience who stated “well there were none!” or words to this effect. The response from another member of the audience to this ill-informed comment was “Tell that to the people of Halabja!”. The disrupter in question was incidentally later barred from attending future Swinton Circle meetings for an entirely different reason, and is now believed to have been a member of an Islamo-fascist faction.) Some years later, of course, the Assad administration in Syria used chemical weapons against rebels during the Syrian Civil War – in spite of the fact they were not known previously to possess such WMDs! It surely doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out that Jillian Becker was right and that the Assad government had simply used some of the chemical weapons which the Ba’athist regime had off-loaded onto them – yet nowhere in the tame media does this blindingly obvious fact seem to have been commented upon!
No doubt the same liberal-Leftist fanatics and their Islamo-fascist fellow-travellers who denied that Saddam Hussein ever possessed WMDs will now also try to deny that there is a clear and indisputable link between the former Ba’athist state’s officials and the current ISIS/ISIL terror state – and probably will also attempt to deny that the current swarm of “refugees” invading Europe is all part of their ongoing plan to try to Islamise Europe, and indeed the West as a whole. The West’s mistake, as we have often stated in the past, was not to have finished the job in 1991 and again in 2003. These failures have of course been compounded by the Obama administration’s decision to withdraw troops from Iraq and Afghanistan. The urgent action which the West now must take therefore is to intervene fully – not just with air strikes but with “boots on the ground” - in both Syria and Iraq in order to crush the Ba’athist-ISIS/ISIL terror structure threatening us all and to restore order to those lands so that the “refugee” swarm can be quickly repatriated. But this time, unlike in 1991 and 2003, Western forces must go there to stay!

SPRINGBOK CLUB NEWS
The Kent Branch of the Springbok Club staged a small but happy and inspiring get-together in order to commemorate the Day of the Vow last month. A short speech was given by a leading official of the Springbok Club about the continuing significance of this day which was greeted with hearty applause, and it is hoped that in years to come this event will once again be commemorated by the organization on a larger scale and at a national level.

The Springbok Club’s 2016 AGM will be held in central London during the evening of Monday 8th February, and full details will be sent to all current members of the organization during the next few days. All fully paid-up members of the Springbok Club will be entitled to participate in this meeting, though only Honorary, Life and Full members will be allowed to vote or to stand for office. Associate members will however be allowed to attend, and to participate in discussions. Following the completion of the business side of this meeting, which we anticipate will conclude prior to 20.00 hrs, Mr. Gary Vincent will be giving another of his highly popular and captivating illustrated talks about an aspect of the Anglo-Zulu Wars. This year this talk, which will be illustrated with the aid of models, will centre around the Battle of Isandhlwana, which took place earlier during the day before to the famous victory at Rorke’s Drift, which Mr. Vincent has described in previous presentations. On Saturday 27th February the Springbok Club will be staging a trip to the “Artist and Empire” Exhibition at the Tate Britain Gallery in Millbank. Assemble between 13.45 hrs and 14.00 hrs in the foyer of the Gallery (enter via the west-side Atterbury Street entrance). There will be a small admission charge of approximately £14.00 (depending upon status) to visit this exhibition.
On Sunday 27th March the Springbok Club will be organizing a trip to see the University Boat races. Arrangements to view the races from an excellent vantage point on the River Thames are currently being finalised, and full details will be given in next month’s SCN.

We have recently received the following report from the ZCTF, which we believe many of our supporters will be interested to read :-
“ELEPHANT SKINS SEEN
“An informer reported to us recently that he was at Chase Motors Service Station, parked behind a one ton pick-up with Mashonaland Tobacco Company written on the door. The truck was loaded with something and the informant realised it was elephant skins so he took photos of it. This is quite suspicious because it could mean that elephant skins are being shipped to China in tobacco containers, possibly underneath the tobacco.
“ELEPHANTS KILLED
“We have received a report that 10 elephants were recently killed to the west of Tsholotsho by 2 top government officials. The elephants were decapitated and the tusks were taken.
“PEOPLE KILLED BY ANIMALS
“A tour guide was taking a group of tourists around Hwange National Park and they came across a pride of lions. We are not sure what happened but the tour guide was charged and killed by one of the lions. In another incident a hunter was hunting buffalo in the Mana Pools area. He shot a buffalo but didn't kill him. The buffalo was tracked for 3 days and on the third day, they found him still alive. The buffalo attacked and killed the hunter.We would like to warn people that these are wild animals and to be very careful when confronting them.
“SABLE CAPTURED
“29 sable were captured recently, 2 of which were dead. They were captured in Zimbabwe near the Limpopo River, trying to make a crossing into South Africa without going through the border post. Theo Bronkhorst was arrested in connection with this but has since been released on $100 bail. He is still due to appear in court on the 28th September 2015 on the Cecil the Lion case. Bronkhorst's property in Zimbabwe was inspected and 27 live sable were found there as well as many animal skins. He is apparently being charged with this as well.
“RHINO KILLED
“A rhino was killed in Midlands Conservancy, bringing the total killed this year to six. Six people have been arrested in connection with this.”

THE UNSPEAKABLE BLATTER
Sepp Blatter, the hugely controversial President of FIFA, has now been charged with corruption and suspended from all his positions within the international organization. Blatter of course has been closely implicated with the widely-condemned awarding of the 2010 Soccer World Cup finals to South Africa and the forthcoming 2022 finals to Qatar – both of which awards were unexpected, unpopular in the wider Football fraternity, and have been mired in allegations of massive bribery. As a result he has become a much despised figure in most European and other Western Soccer communities – indeed he was burnt in effigy by the Cliffe B.S. at last November’s Lewes Bonfire festivities! In his bizarre speech at a press conference following his charging and suspension he sought to suck up to Third World countries by likening himself to “Nelson” Mandela, the notorious South African terrorist leader. Such an awful comparison is destined to rebound on him badly forever, for not only will most people in the West who are aware of the evil terrorist nature of Mandela be sickened by it, but also most decent Africans will regard it with contempt, as they are far more interested in playing and watching Football rather than glorifying terrorists!

PETITION IN SUPPORT OF DONALD TRUMP
As many readers will no doubt recall, last month we circulated our supporters urging them to sign an on-line petition to the UK government entitled “Don't ban Trump from the United Kingdom”. This follows an earlier petition initiated by far-Left extremists calling for the leading GOP candidate in this year’s US Presidential Election to be banned from entering the UK. Open petitions such as these are encouraged by the UK government, and if they obtain 100,000 signatures must be debated by a Committee Session of Parliament. We were however surprised to be notified by the petition administrators that a debate on the original petition to ban Mr. Trump was to be held as it had attracted over 100,000 signatures – this in spite of the fact that we signed the counteracting petition opposing such a ridiculous ban, and not the original trouble-making petition itself! It would appear therefore that the petition administrators lumped all those who signed all petitions on this general subject together in order to obtain the required number of signatures – whether they supported the original wording which was up for debate or the opposite! Furthermore, in all likelihood we believe that the counteracting petition/petitions could well have received more support than the original. We hope that all our friends and supporters in the US will take note of this fact, and will inform all their acquaintances that Mr.Trump has far more support in the UK than press reports may indicate.

AUSTRALIAN SUPPORT FOR THEIR SOUTH AFRICAN KITH AND KIN
We have recently been most impressed and encouraged to receive information from the Australian Party for Freedom regarding a rally in Sydney which they supported which drew attention to the near-genocide campaign currently being waged against Whites in the “new” South Africa. Unfortunately notification of this protest rally only reached us some weeks after it actually took place, so we were therefore not able to inform our supporters of the details in advance. No.206 – Ms. BEVERLEY BANNISTER of Durban
Beverley Bannister was a keen supporter of the Durban Branch of the Save Rhodesia Campaign during the late 1970s. She was single at the time, though was heavily involved and perhaps even engaged. Unfortunately, however, she disappeared from the patriotic scene following the fall of Rhodesia and the disbandment of the SRC, and it is suspected that this was as a result of her marriage and accompanying other commitments. Alas we do not know what her married name was, but it would be great to learn what happened to this lovely and loyal lady.

LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
INSIDE THE SWINTON CIRCLE
Sir,
I have recently heard about the Swinton Circle's problematic July meeting, and it all sounds a most unfortunate business. Yes, I do remember your Press Officer and, like you, thought that his enthusiasm and youth were most refreshing. Sorry that he turned out to be a wolf in sheep's clothing.
I didn't know much about Liberty GB. I had vaguely heard of it, but there are so many fringe parties, some good and some not so good, that it's easy to become confused. What happened at your meeting unfortunately epitomises a very difficult problem facing many of us willing to stick their neck above the parapet and say that they are not Socialists in any shape or form and thus on the "right" of the political spectrum. All sorts of people on "the right" may well stand for the traditional family, strong law and order policies and for the need for a cohesive society built around common values, but their reasons for so doing can be very different. Some, like myself, hold these views in the context of desiring a free society but recognising that there must be certain constraints on that freedom. Multi-culturalism, the treatment of criminals as victims and a sexual free-for-all will ultimately lead to tyranny, which is, of course, why left-wing adherents of the Frankfurt School are keen to foist such ideas upon us. However, other people support these same values - a cohesive society built around shared values, strong law and order policies and the traditional family for very different reasons. They also support withdrawal from the EU, for that matter. I can fully understand why one of your most valued members previously flirted with the extreme right. If you are utterly opposed to Socialsm both of the classic Corbyn-esque variety and the post-modern Blairite variety, it may well seem good to meet up with people sharing this loathing. However, as she found out and as you were sharply reminded at the meeting, there are some people with a very different agenda and I do feel sorry for you that you received so little support from other Committee members in dealing with such utterly unpleasant and uninvited visitors. Quite honestly, I am appalled that anyone could say that our brave soldiers fought "for the wrong side" in WW2. The word "deranged" does sum these people up. They have nothing in common ideologically with the likes of you or me, in spite of some outward agreement in certain areas. They are extremists.
All I can say is that I wish you all the best in trying to pick up the pieces from what must have been a most disturbing meeting. I can imagine that you must feel very concerned in particular about the ambivalence of your Chairman. Still, at least you have seen the back of your Press Officer. He clearly was a nasty piece of work, in spite of his outwardly pleasant and enthusiastic exterior. Do keep me posted with how all this pans out.

RAPEFUGEES

It is a fact that countries like Sweden have faced increased crime and rape statistics solely because of the influx of migrants. The current migrant crisis will add to the rise of tensions. It's like a slow cooker reaching boiling point. With programmes like “Is Britain Racist?” and the political discussions in the media; it is apparent the political landscape is on edge. The American feature on “Is Britain Racist?” quite rightly showed the violence being perpetrated by the Black men. If people wish to be realists they might look to South Africa to see that giving certain groups power will inevitably lead to the destruction of ones own race.

CAMERON WON’T BUT THERESA MAY

In an obvious launch of her campaign for the succession to David Cameron, Theresa May is talking the talk on immigration. I would like to offer my suggestions as to how the government can effectively walk the walk. Get out of the EU so we can control our own borders again. Restrict immigration to people who can read, write and speak fluent English and have something to offer us. Only admit refugees if it's life or death and they've nowhere else to go. Round up and remove all illegal immigrants no matter what it takes. Repeal the Race Relations Acts, end multiculturalism, and end Political Correctness - and fill future labour shortages with temporary contract workers rather than permanent immigrants. If this means shortages of waiters, cleaners or “baristas”, so be it.

MENTAL BLOCK
Sir,
What is interesting about the claim by a Queenstown Councillor that “Whites built the dams too big, so they take a long time to fill” is that this statement of his reflects the mindset of those who do not know the meaning of the word “appreciation”. They received a first world functioning country on a plate, but instead of being realistic and telling themselves – look we didn’t create this but let’s try and make a go of it and utilise the people who created it, they instead got rid of the creators and replaced them with the consumers and the destroyers, and look what we have now!
In addition there’s a real culture of entitlement within the ANC and its followers. They truly believe they are entitled to South Africa, without seeming to acknowledge how it came about and without working for it. One sees this everywhere. The hand is always out – they expect everything to be given.
A top class eye clinic in one of our big cities decided to help “the community” and offered their services to the Ministry of Health. For two years these world-class eye surgeons did pro bono work on cataracts and other eye problems for free. All in all they did R35 million worth of work. They never received one letter of thanks. In fact, they decided to stop because they realized their efforts were simply taken for granted. The Whites MUST help the so-called previously disadvantaged! When they didn’t continue with the work, the Ministry wrote a testy letter asking why there was no more free treatment, as if it was expected to just continue. The Ministry was most put off when the practice said they could not do any more. Instead of being appreciative, the Ministry castigated the practice and accused them of being uncaring towards “the community”. This sort of behaviour is the norm. The more you give, the more is expected and don’t expect one word of thanks.
A strange mentality. It doesn’t seem to occur anywhere else in the world. Who wants to live with people like these?

No surprise about the ANC fake decrees. During the 1970’s we worked at the Jubilee Community Hospital, Hammanskraal. The Hospital was told to employ Black staff, many of the Doctors had fake degrees. I have just had a Skype conversation with a friend in South Africa. Tells me the South African Government has had discussions with leaders of Hamas. Sounds like the Black folk never herd what happened to the Israeli opposition during the ‘67 & ‘76 wars.

OBITUARY
Dr. PHILIP NATHAN
It was with great sadness that we recently learnt of the death of Dr. Philip Nathan whilst working in Thailand, following a brief illness aged only 65.
Philip Nathan lived a full and rewarding life as a pioneer in research on and development of bio-fuels and petro-chemicals, both in the UK and abroad. He was an outstanding scientist and academic.
Educated in Army schools, prep schooled at Street Court School, Godstone, and then St Lawrence Collage, Ramsgate, he received his BSc at the University of Windsor, Ontario, where he joined the Canadian Militia. Upon returning to the UK he achieved his PhD at Brunel University in bio-medical technology. He then undertook research as a Fellow at the University of London focusing on a broad range of bio-medical subjects. His work in these areas attracted the attention of Jundishapur University in Ahwas, Iran, where he was asked to open a Bio-medical Department and to give lectures and teach. Following this he undertook developmental work on bio-fuels in both the UK and Thailand, a direct result of which helped change some Thai legislation in their energy policies.
Philip Nathan was the beloved son of the late Colonel 'Sin' and Anne Nathan (RAMC) and the cherished brother of Jeanette. He will be sadly missed by his numerous friends and colleagues round the world. Underlying all his contributions is the fact that he was motivated by a profound love of his country, a wish to promote traditional British values, and a desire to advance the nation’s technological prominence in a time of rapid change. He was also a keen and active supporter of New Britain, at whose activities he was regularly seen resplendently wearing a Union Flag tie.
He was a great man indeed. Our sincere sympathies are extended to his sister Jeanette and to the rest of his family.

The recent diabolical multi-terrorist attack in Paris must surely have sickened and outraged all decent human beings around the world. It must also have shown all but the most myopic that a war is currently being waged in the name of the Mohammedan religion against all who do not agree with their theology – after all the similar attack in Bombay during 2008 was not aimed at Western culture. Sadly and predictably, however, the parrot-cry has once again been squawked out by liberal elements claiming that the terrorists only comprised a small minority of “Jihadists” and were not representative of Muslims as a whole. With every further atrocity which has occurred since 9/11 (and indeed before that) this argument becomes more and more threadbare.
More than for any other reason the Islamic terrorists have been emboldened by the perceived weakness of the West, and specifically by the anti-War fifth-columnists who sickeningly seem to command influence way beyond their numbers. All this probably began when the First Gulf War in 1991 wasn’t finished to its proper conclusion by continuing the military offensive to Baghdad itself after the liberation of Kuwait, and thereby failing to eliminate the evil Ba’athist regime of Saddam Hussein before they could engineer and bankroll the rise of al-Qa’eda and the Taliban. The Second Gulf War was furthermore started far too late giving the Ba’athists of Iraq time to move a considerable amount of their WMD material to their fellow-Ba’athists in Syria, and of course even after Baghdad finally fell many of the leading Ba’athist officials and military leaders were allowed to escape, so that they could subsequently co-ordinate the establishment of ISIS/ISIL.
But, as we imply, the most despicable enemy of all which is good is not the actual Islamic terrorists themselves, but rather their vile appeasing fellow-travellers of the anti-War movement. As has been accurately observed, the “Stop the War Coalition” is in reality a “Let’s help the other side to win Coalition”. The authorities are of course seriously at fault in allowing such a subversive organization to flourish. After all at the start of WWII one of the first actions which the British authorities took was to intern all the leading Mosleyites, and during an earlier evil terrorist onslaught SF/IRA was effectively banned for many years.
The most worrying manifestation of the success of these vile fifth-columnists has of course been the election of the unspeakable Jeremy Corbyn as leader of the British Labour Party. The fact that one of Britain’s two main political parties is now led by such a detestable creature is a terrible stain on the name and the reputation of the British nation. Thankfully, however, he does not enjoy the support of all his party, as there has proved to be widespread resistance to his poisonous leadership by ordinary decent Labour Party members and MPs alike. Perhaps the most surprising of those who have been brave enough to stand up to the intimidation of the “Stop the War” subversives has been Hillary Benn. His speech during the Parliamentary debate on (albeit far too limited) British military intervention to destroy the evil ISIS/ISIL Islamo-fascists was undoubtedly the greatest Parliamentary speech of recent times. Our movement may not have agreed with several of the points which Mr. Benn made during his inspiring speech, particularly his commitment to socialism and internationalism, but notwithstanding fundamental disagreements about economic and social policies we even so must salute his courage in so forthrightly opposing the demonic common enemy threatening all of mankind – as indeed we must salute all those 66 brave Labour MPs who risked personal threats in order to side with the forces of good.
The Prime Minister was of course quite correct to describe those opposing military action against the ISIS/ISIL evil as “Terrorist sympathisers” – indeed we would go further and say that many of them are clearly pro-terrorist! Perhaps nothing more can be expected from certain extreme-left elements in the Labour Party or from the loathsome SNP (accurately termed the “Scottish Ba’athist Party” during the Second Gulf War), but it would have been reasonable to expect that no genuine Conservative Party representative would ever dream of sucking up to the ISIS/ISIL terrorists, particularly so soon after the Paris atrocities – but alas this was not the case. Seven alleged Conservative MPs voted against taking military action to oppose the Islamo-fascist filth, namely: John Baron (Basildon & Billericay), David Davis (Haltemprice & Howden), Philip Hollobone (Kettering), Julian Lewis (New Forest East), Stephen McPartland (Stevenage), Andrew Tyrie (Chichester) and Gordon Henderson (Sittingbourne & Sheppey). Their infamous names should be noted and remembered.
But all is not gloom. The Paris attacks seem to have galvanised opposition to Islamic terrorism around the world. The Front Nationale has made significant electoral advances in France, Donald J. Trump’s campaign for the GOP Presidential nomination in the United States now seems to be unstoppable, and PEGIDA is gaining increasing support not only in Germany but throughout Europe. The momentum is now clearly with those Western resistance forces who are directly opposing both the ISIS/ISIL terrorists and their “Stop the War” fellow-travellers. Our solidarity is fully with the French people after enduring such horrific terrorist atrocities. Citizens – to the barricades!

SPRINGBOK CLUB NEWS
The Springbok Club celebrated UDI Day last month with a most enjoyable gathering and buffet in central London. Although the numbers in attendance were somewhat disappointing (due partly to delays in finalizing arrangements and partly, we believe, because of the heightened security situation in all Western capitals at the time), those who did attend enjoyed a really splendid occasion. Talks were given by two leading Springbok Club officials, one about the life and career of the Hon.Ian Douglas Smith and the other about the inspirational effect which the declaration of UDI had among patriots in the UK at the time. A truly sumptuous array of buffet snacks were laid on which were eagerly consumed by all those in attendance, and informal and fruitful discussions took place about proposed activities to be conducted by the organization during 2016.

As it has alas proved impossible for the Springbok Club to book any adequate function room during the busy month of December for their annual Day of the Vow commemoration, the Kent Branch of the organization has stepped into the breach and will be organizing a dinner in the Canterbury area on Saturday 19th December. Following the collapse of the Swinton Circle in its original form, those Committee members who have remained loyal to the organization have now been approached by leaders of two other patriotic organizations with a view to future co-operation and/or mergers. Formal discussions will be held between the leaderships of all three bodies during the Spring, and needless to say the results of these talks will be announced in future editions of the SCN.

CONSERVATION OR NOT ?
We have recently received the following most well-argued article from the Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force, which is particularly relevant in view of the recent horrifying killing of Cecil the Lion. It reads as follows :-
“We often hear of trophy hunters claiming to be conservationists and we find this difficult to understand. If this is the case, then there are 2 types of "conservation".
“TYPE ONE
“There is the breeding of wild animals for hunting. This industry is supported by the hunting fraternity and animal breeders. The animals are bred en masse for the purpose of being inhumanely shot or hunted. Once these animals are captured, they can never be released back into the wild. In the case of lions, they are captured when they are cubs and at first, are sometimes used for customers to ‘walk with the lions’. Once they get too big for this, they are moved to another enclosure where they are offered to hunters to be shot. They are drugged and the hunter then shoots the lion. This is not really hunting because the lion doesn't have a chance to escape. Some of them are used in canned hunting as well.
“Landowners have gone into biodiversity, utilizing the land which was previously used for growing crops, for breeding these wild animals. They claim to have the right to give life to these animals by breeding them but in the end, they are shot with a rifle or a bow and arrow. To breed these animals and ‘play God’ by giving life and then taking life away is cruel and inhumane especially in the case of the cat family, elephants and rhino. They are kept in cages and have no freedom. These so-called conservationists claim this industry is sustainable but it only benefits the land owners and trophy hunters, most of whom are millionaires.
“They claim that once the animal has passed its breeding age, it's no good and should be shot. This is the wrong conception. Humans are over-populating the world but when they are old, do we shoot them or do we look after them? Life is like a big chain and each species is like a link in the chain. Each link has a purpose and a job to do. When you start killing the animals, the chain gets shorter and shorter and this interferes with the circle of life.
“TYPE TWO
“Our National Parks is where the real conservation should be taking place. The animals should be free to roam and tourists can come and see them and photograph them. Hunting should be banned altogether. We, as humans, rely on some of the animals for medicines etc. The elephant is a mobile manure factory, helping to germinate seeds, some of which are used to make medicines. Every species has an important part to play and this is why hunting should be banned.
“The local people who live around the wildlife areas should be stakeholders in the industry. They should be given a percentage of the money earned from tourism in exchange for taking care of the animals. At the moment, these people don't get anything. We should be able to co-exist with the wildlife without the cruelty and inhumanity.
“Animals can take care of themselves as they always have. When there are too many of one species, the predators kill them for food. This is the way it should be. They don't need our help to keep their numbers down.
“We have heard that some Americans teach their children to hunt as young as seven years old. This is a horrifying concept. When the child is annoyed at school, they could possibly shoot someone because they have been brought up that way. We appeal to children all over the world to please write to their governments to ask them to stop hunting. We have received some letters from children and these are very important to us.

2015 DAVIS CUP
The British Davis Cup team must be congratulated upon winning the 2015 tournament – the first time that Britain has triumphed in 79 years! The Murray brothers must be congratulated particularly in this regard of course, and their eager Union Flag-adorned celebrations clearly gave the lie to the claims by the odious SNP that they somehow supported Scottish “independence”!
Full congratulations must also of course be extended to the Belgium team who “punched far above their weight” (just as Belgium did during the great age of European global Imperialism!) in reaching the final, and providing such defiant opposition therein.
Both nations have something in common however, namely that they are both subjected to attempts to split and destroy their countries by the German-dominated EU. In this context it was therefore most encouraging to see the overwhelming displays of both the Union Flag and the Belgium Flag among both sets of supporters, with hardly the sight of any regional flags (not that we have any objections to regional flags in the right contexts!) anywhere to be seen! Long live a united Britain – Long live a united Belgium!
[ It should never be forgotten of course that the first nation to win the Davis Cup outside the “big four” was South Africa in 1974 – and this of course was still during the days of civilized rule in the country! ]

2015 SPOTY COMPETITION
A most worrying controversy has recently erupted concerning this year’s BBC “Sports Personality of the Year” competition, specifically concerning the nomination of the Heavyweight Boxer Tyson Fury for the award.
Fury recently won the Heavyweight Championship of the World by defeating the Ukrainian Vladimir Klitschko, thus becoming the first genuine British Heavyweight Champion of the World since Bob Fitzsimmonds. One would have thought that this would have been a reason for universal celebration by all British sports fans – but alas not all people were evidently happy with his achievement. The reason that Fury has attracted so much sinister opposition has nothing to do with his sporting prowess however, but rather because he has voiced forthright opposition to homosexuality, paedophilia and abortion on demand. Now of course most moral and decent people of all races and religions will have supported Fury fully in his condemnation of these perversions and evils, but to the liberal “politically correct brigade” this has proved anathema! The world champion long-jumper Greg Rutherford initially announced that he was going to withdraw from the competition, apparently because of pressure from certain members of his family, but when he subsequently showed great bravery by reversing his original unfortunate decision he also attracted the odium of the “politically correct brigade”, and so must be congratulated upon his courage in this regard.
We know that there are several other contestants highly deserving of this award, most notably Lizzie Armistead, Chris Froome, Andy Murray and Adam Peaty – as well as Greg Rutherford himself. But there is an important principle of freedom of speech at issue here. We therefore urge everyone to vote for Tyson Fury.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW ?
No.205 – Cllr. Lew Phillips of Durban
Lew Phillips was a long-serving and highly regarded Durban City Councillor who represented the Montclair/Woodlands Ward of the City. He also served as an NRP Natal Provincial Councillor for a while. Being true to the patriotic principle’s of Jan Smuts’ United Party by joining the NRP re-alignment after so many of the Party had left to join the ultra-leftist Progs, he consequently became something of a hate-figure for the PFP-supporting faction on Durban City Council – a situation which was intensified by his forthright opposition to integrated beaches and other multi-racial proposals. He was an early supporter of S.A.Patriot magazine, and indeed we gave him much favourable publicity in the first few editions of the publication. He however dumbfounded and disappointed his supporter-base greatly by inexplicably coming out in favour of P.W.Botha’s sellout policies at the time of the 1983 Constitutional Referendum, and as a result direct contact with him then ceased. He continued his fierce opposition to Prog attempts to push ahead with their unauthorized integration ideas however, and for this he continued to be admired. As he was not a young man when we knew him during the early 1980s we therefore doubt very much whether he is still alive, but even so it would be interesting to learn what happened to him and to his delightful and totally loyal wife.

TEST CASE – Part 2
Sir,
I wrote an unpublished letter to the Daily Telegraph pointing out that, while people like Clive Rice’s sporting careers were ruined by the boycott, the likes of Mandela were able to resume their political careers after it. Didn't this prove the boycott to have been unfair? And, whatever one's views on apartheid in sport or anywhere else, the documentary on Basil D'Oliveira some years ago did point out that he'd played for South Africa's non-White eleven. They were, I believe, perfectly free to play internationals against anyone willing to play them - hardly their fault that other countries like the West Indies weren't.

WHAT THEY VOTED FOR
Sir,
I was recently severely threatened by a man, he vowed that he was going to break every bone in my body (this amounts to a death threat in my mind). I was in the company of witnesses who were prepared to validate the occurrence.
I reported the incident to my Police station and a docket was opened and I was told that the Investigating Officer would contact myself and my witnesses. After several weeks I approached the Officer in Command of the Investigating Officer informing her that no-one from her division had come back to me on this. A while after this I was in the company of friends at a scenic lookout point at the edge of a gorge where I noticed this same man who had threatened that he was going to kill me, sitting in a parked vehicle. He had moved to this area prior to the first time he threatened my life. I rarely visit this area as it is far from my suburb, We just happened to end up at the gorge on that day. As the man spotted myself and my friends alighting from my vehicle he said to me that he should just push me over the edge of the cliff and into the gorge, it sent shivers down my spine. I reported back to the Police station the next day and told the Investigating Officer about my encounter of the previous day and told her that I was again threatened in the presence of witnesses.
Nothing has come of my complaint to the South African Police, I have not as much as received any indication as to whether my complaint will eventually dealt with. All this has happened months ago.
Most South African citizens are in agreement; we have zero faith in the South African Police or the justice system. We live in fear and see lawlessness all around us.
God help South Africa, we do not want to be wiped out!

Sir,
Thank you for publishing my last letter [September 2015 SCN – Ed.]. It was interesting to read the letter from “A.G.” about Mr. Robin Willow in the same issue, and also to learn more details about this man in the next issue [actually the November 2015 SCN – Ed.]. Why was Mr. Willow ever allowed to hold two leading positions in the Swinton Circle simultaneously, Chairman and Treasurer, when he was clearly incapable of performing either of them properly? I’ve done a bit more investigation into him and have discovered that he’s married to a Chinawoman, and have also found a number of other worrying factors about him which I feel it best not to mention. The fact that he has now apparently disappeared without accounting for all the Swinton Circle’s funds is a matter for great concern. Surely this should be a Police matter?

ISLAMO-FASCISM – THE ULTIMATE OF EVILS
Several readers have expressed surprise at the fact that we reported that two of the gate-crashers who invaded the disastrous Swinton Circle meeting of 31st July were not only neo-fascists, but also revealed themselves as being Muslim converts – including the worst disrupter of this meeting. But is it so strange that neo-fascists should also be Mohammedans?
In spite of the popular conception that the German Nazis were total racialists, their racism in reality consisted of little more than a paranoid and irrational hatred of the Jewish people, the Slavs and the Gypsies. They established a powerful battalion of the Waffen-SS among the Muslim population of Bosnia-Herzegovina (as well as one among Hindu Indian nationalists incidentally!) and also enjoyed a close working relationship with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem. Indeed the cry of *Hitler in this world and Allah in the next” was a popular clarion call among Nazi sympathisers in the Middle East.
More recently, however, the overtly neo-fascist “British National Party” – although it claimed to be patriotic – failed to support Britain and the rest of the West against Islamic expansionism in both Gulf Wars and in the War against Terror as a whole. The so-called “BNP” now appears to be defunct however, and we do not doubt that the main cause of their demise was their totally hypocritical stance whereby they claimed to be pro-British yet at the same time opposed their own country in wars against the insidious Islamic threat!
Hillary Benn, whatever his other faults, gave a masterful Parliamentary speech during the debate on Air Strikes in Syria against the ISIS/ISIL terrorists, in which he clearly asserted that these Islamic terrorists were fascists, and the heirs of the evil German Nazis who Britons and other Commonwealth citizens of all political persuasions fought so bravely against during WWII. We may believe that Mr. Benn is terribly wrong on many political issues, but history and indisputable facts confirm that he is totally correct with this comparison.
This brings us back to the subject of the invasion and disruption of the notorious Swinton Circle meeting of 31st July by a group of uninvited trouble-makers. It has now been revealed that these wreckers were more than just neo-fascists as we first believed, but contained at least two individuals who were clearly ISLAMO-FASCISTS! The recent diabolical multi-terrorist attack in Paris must surely have sickened and outraged all decent human beings around the world. It must also have shown all but the most myopic that a war is currently being waged in the name of the Mohammedan religion against all who do not agree with their theology – after all the similar attack in Bombay during 2008 was not aimed at Western culture. Sadly and predictably, however, the parrot-cry has once again been squawked out by liberal elements claiming that the terrorists only comprised a small minority of “Jihadists” and were not representative of Muslims as a whole. With every further atrocity which has occurred since 9/11 (and indeed before that) this argument becomes more and more threadbare.
More than for any other reason the Islamic terrorists have been emboldened by the perceived weakness of the West, and specifically by the anti-War fifth-columnists who sickeningly seem to command influence way beyond their numbers. All this probably began when the First Gulf War in 1991 wasn’t finished to its proper conclusion by continuing the military offensive to Baghdad itself after the liberation of Kuwait, and thereby failing to eliminate the evil Ba’athist regime of Saddam Hussein before they could engineer and bankroll the rise of al-Qa’eda and the Taliban. The Second Gulf War was furthermore started far too late giving the Ba’athists of Iraq time to move a considerable amount of their WMD material to their fellow-Ba’athists in Syria, and of course even after Baghdad finally fell many of the leading Ba’athist officials and military leaders were allowed to escape, so that they could subsequently co-ordinate the establishment of ISIS/ISIL.
But, as we imply, the most despicable enemy of all which is good is not the actual Islamic terrorists themselves, but rather their vile appeasing fellow-travellers of the anti-War movement. As has been accurately observed, the “Stop the War Coalition” is in reality a “Let’s help the other side to win Coalition”. The authorities are of course seriously at fault in allowing such a subversive organization to flourish. After all at the start of WWII one of the first actions which the British authorities took was to intern all the leading Mosleyites, and during an earlier evil terrorist onslaught SF/IRA was effectively banned for many years.
The most worrying manifestation of the success of these vile fifth-columnists has of course been the election of the unspeakable Jeremy Corbyn as leader of the British Labour Party. The fact that one of Britain’s two main political parties is now led by such a detestable creature is a terrible stain on the name and the reputation of the British nation. Thankfully, however, he does not enjoy the support of all his party, as there has proved to be widespread resistance to his poisonous leadership by ordinary decent Labour Party members and MPs alike. Perhaps the most surprising of those who have been brave enough to stand up to the intimidation of the “Stop the War” subversives has been Hillary Benn. His speech during the Parliamentary debate on (albeit far too limited) British military intervention to destroy the evil ISIS/ISIL Islamo-fascists was undoubtedly the greatest Parliamentary speech of recent times. Our movement may not have agreed with several of the points which Mr. Benn made during his inspiring speech, particularly his commitment to socialism and internationalism, but notwithstanding fundamental disagreements about economic and social policies we even so must salute his courage in so forthrightly opposing the demonic common enemy threatening all of mankind – as indeed we must salute all those 66 brave Labour MPs who risked personal threats in order to side with the forces of good.
The Prime Minister was of course quite correct to describe those opposing military action against the ISIS/ISIL evil as “Terrorist sympathisers” – indeed we would go further and say that many of them are clearly pro-terrorist! Perhaps nothing more can be expected from certain extreme-left elements in the Labour Party or from the loathsome SNP (accurately termed the “Scottish Ba’athist Party” during the Second Gulf War), but it would have been reasonable to expect that no genuine Conservative Party representative would ever dream of sucking up to the ISIS/ISIL terrorists, particularly so soon after the Paris atrocities – but alas this was not the case. Seven alleged Conservative MPs voted against taking military action to oppose the Islamo-fascist filth, namely: John Baron (Basildon & Billericay), David Davis (Haltemprice & Howden), Philip Hollobone (Kettering), Julian Lewis (New Forest East), Stephen McPartland (Stevenage), Andrew Tyrie (Chichester) and Gordon Henderson (Sittingbourne & Sheppey). Their infamous names should be noted and remembered.
But all is not gloom. The Paris attacks seem to have galvanised opposition to Islamic terrorism around the world. The Front Nationale has made significant electoral advances in France, Donald J. Trump’s campaign for the GOP Presidential nomination in the United States now seems to be unstoppable, and PEGIDA is gaining increasing support not only in Germany but throughout Europe. The momentum is now clearly with those Western resistance forces who are directly opposing both the ISIS/ISIL terrorists and their “Stop the War” fellow-travellers. Our solidarity is fully with the French people after enduring such horrific terrorist atrocities. Citizens – to the barricades!

SPRINGBOK CLUB NEWS
The Springbok Club celebrated UDI Day last month with a most enjoyable gathering and buffet in central London. Although the numbers in attendance were somewhat disappointing (due partly to delays in finalizing arrangements and partly, we believe, because of the heightened security situation in all Western capitals at the time), those who did attend enjoyed a really splendid occasion. Talks were given by two leading Springbok Club officials, one about the life and career of the Hon.Ian Douglas Smith and the other about the inspirational effect which the declaration of UDI had among patriots in the UK at the time. A truly sumptuous array of buffet snacks were laid on which were eagerly consumed by all those in attendance, and informal and fruitful discussions took place about proposed activities to be conducted by the organization during 2016.

As it has alas proved impossible for the Springbok Club to book any adequate function room during the busy month of December for their annual Day of the Vow commemoration, the Kent Branch of the organization has stepped into the breach and will be organizing a dinner in the Canterbury area on Saturday 19th December. Following the collapse of the Swinton Circle in its original form, those Committee members who have remained loyal to the organization have now been approached by leaders of two other patriotic organizations with a view to future co-operation and/or mergers. CONSERVATION OR NOT ?
We have recently received the following most well-argued article from the Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force, which is particularly relevant in view of the recent horrifying killing of Cecil the Lion. It reads as follows :-
“We often hear of trophy hunters claiming to be conservationists and we find this difficult to understand. If this is the case, then there are 2 types of "conservation".
“TYPE ONE
“There is the breeding of wild animals for hunting. This industry is supported by the hunting fraternity and animal breeders. The animals are bred en masse for the purpose of being inhumanely shot or hunted. Once these animals are captured, they can never be released back into the wild. In the case of lions, they are captured when they are cubs and at first, are sometimes used for customers to ‘walk with the lions’. Once they get too big for this, they are moved to another enclosure where they are offered to hunters to be shot. They are drugged and the hunter then shoots the lion. This is not really hunting because the lion doesn't have a chance to escape. Some of them are used in canned hunting as well.
“Landowners have gone into biodiversity, utilizing the land which was previously used for growing crops, for breeding these wild animals. They claim to have the right to give life to these animals by breeding them but in the end, they are shot with a rifle or a bow and arrow. To breed these animals and ‘play God’ by giving life and then taking life away is cruel and inhumane especially in the case of the cat family, elephants and rhino. They are kept in cages and have no freedom. These so-called conservationists claim this industry is sustainable but it only benefits the land owners and trophy hunters, most of whom are millionaires.
“They claim that once the animal has passed its breeding age, it's no good and should be shot. This is the wrong conception. Humans are over-populating the world but when they are old, do we shoot them or do we look after them? Life is like a big chain and each species is like a link in the chain. Each link has a purpose and a job to do. When you start killing the animals, the chain gets shorter and shorter and this interferes with the circle of life.
“TYPE TWO
“Our National Parks is where the real conservation should be taking place. The animals should be free to roam and tourists can come and see them and photograph them. Hunting should be banned altogether. We, as humans, rely on some of the animals for medicines etc. The elephant is a mobile manure factory, helping to germinate seeds, some of which are used to make medicines. Every species has an important part to play and this is why hunting should be banned.
“The local people who live around the wildlife areas should be stakeholders in the industry. They should be given a percentage of the money earned from tourism in exchange for taking care of the animals. At the moment, these people don't get anything. We should be able to co-exist with the wildlife without the cruelty and inhumanity.
“Animals can take care of themselves as they always have. When there are too many of one species, the predators kill them for food. This is the way it should be. They don't need our help to keep their numbers down.
“We have heard that some Americans teach their children to hunt as young as seven years old. This is a horrifying concept. When the child is annoyed at school, they could possibly shoot someone because they have been brought up that way. We appeal to children all over the world to please write to their governments to ask them to stop hunting. We have received some letters from children and these are very important to us.

2015 DAVIS CUP
The British Davis Cup team must be congratulated upon winning the 2015 tournament – the first time that Britain has triumphed in 79 years! The Murray brothers must be congratulated particularly in this regard of course, and their eager Union Flag-adorned celebrations clearly gave the lie to the claims by the odious SNP that they somehow supported Scottish “independence”!
Full congratulations must also of course be extended to the Belgium team who “punched far above their weight” (just as Belgium did during the great age of European global Imperialism!) in reaching the final, and providing such defiant opposition therein.
Both nations have something in common however, namely that they are both subjected to attempts to split and destroy their countries by the German-dominated EU. In this context it was therefore most encouraging to see the overwhelming displays of both the Union Flag and the Belgium Flag among both sets of supporters, with hardly the sight of any regional flags (not that we have any objections to regional flags in the right contexts!) anywhere to be seen! Long live a united Britain – Long live a united Belgium!
[ It should never be forgotten of course that the first nation to win the Davis Cup outside the “big four” was South Africa in 1974 – and this of course was still during the days of civilized rule in the country! ]

2015 SPOTY COMPETITION
A most worrying controversy has recently erupted concerning this year’s BBC “Sports Personality of the Year” competition, specifically concerning the nomination of the Heavyweight Boxer Tyson Fury for the award.
Fury recently won the Heavyweight Championship of the World by defeating the Ukrainian Vladimir Klitschko, thus becoming the first genuine British Heavyweight Champion of the World since Bob Fitzsimmonds. One would have thought that this would have been a reason for universal celebration by all British sports fans – but alas not all people were evidently happy with his achievement. The reason that Fury has attracted so much sinister opposition has nothing to do with his sporting prowess however, but rather because he has voiced forthright opposition to homosexuality, paedophilia and abortion on demand. Now of course most moral and decent people of all races and religions will have supported Fury fully in his condemnation of these perversions and evils, but to the liberal “politically correct brigade” this has proved anathema! The world champion long-jumper Greg Rutherford initially announced that he was going to withdraw from the competition, apparently because of pressure from certain members of his family, but when he subsequently showed great bravery by reversing his original unfortunate decision he also attracted the odium of the “politically correct brigade”, and so must be congratulated upon his courage in this regard.
We know that there are several other contestants highly deserving of this award, most notably Lizzie Armistead, Chris Froome, Andy Murray and Adam Peaty – as well as Greg Rutherford himself. But there is an important principle of freedom of speech at issue here. We therefore urge everyone to vote for Tyson Fury.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW ?
No.205 – Cllr. Lew Phillips of Durban
Lew Phillips was a long-serving and highly regarded Durban City Councillor who represented the Montclair/Woodlands Ward of the City. He also served as an NRP Natal Provincial Councillor for a while. Being true to the patriotic principle’s of Jan Smuts’ United Party by joining the NRP re-alignment after so many of the Party had left to join the ultra-leftist Progs, he consequently became something of a hate-figure for the PFP-supporting faction on Durban City Council – a situation which was intensified by his forthright opposition to integrated beaches and other multi-racial proposals. He was an early supporter of S.A.Patriot magazine, and indeed we gave him much favourable publicity in the first few editions of the publication. He however dumbfounded and disappointed his supporter-base greatly by inexplicably coming out in favour of P.W.Botha’s sellout policies at the time of the 1983 Constitutional Referendum, and as a result direct contact with him then ceased. He continued his fierce opposition to Prog attempts to push ahead with their unauthorized integration ideas however, and for this he continued to be admired. As he was not a young man when we knew him during the early 1980s we therefore doubt very much whether he is still alive, but even so it would be interesting to learn what happened to him and to his delightful and totally loyal wife.

TEST CASE – Part 2
Sir,
I wrote an unpublished letter to the Daily Telegraph pointing out that, while people like Clive Rice’s sporting careers were ruined by the boycott, the likes of Mandela were able to resume their political careers after it. Didn't this prove the boycott to have been unfair? And, whatever one's views on apartheid in sport or anywhere else, the documentary on Basil D'Oliveira some years ago did point out that he'd played for South Africa's non-White eleven. They were, I believe, perfectly free to play internationals against anyone willing to play them - hardly their fault that other countries like the West Indies weren't.

WHAT THEY VOTED FOR
Sir,
I was recently severely threatened by a man, he vowed that he was going to break every bone in my body (this amounts to a death threat in my mind). I was in the company of witnesses who were prepared to validate the occurrence.
I reported the incident to my Police station and a docket was opened and I was told that the Investigating Officer would contact myself and my witnesses. After several weeks I approached the Officer in Command of the Investigating Officer informing her that no-one from her division had come back to me on this. A while after this I was in the company of friends at a scenic lookout point at the edge of a gorge where I noticed this same man who had threatened that he was going to kill me, sitting in a parked vehicle. He had moved to this area prior to the first time he threatened my life. I rarely visit this area as it is far from my suburb, We just happened to end up at the gorge on that day. As the man spotted myself and my friends alighting from my vehicle he said to me that he should just push me over the edge of the cliff and into the gorge, it sent shivers down my spine. I reported back to the Police station the next day and told the Investigating Officer about my encounter of the previous day and told her that I was again threatened in the presence of witnesses.
Nothing has come of my complaint to the South African Police, I have not as much as received any indication as to whether my complaint will eventually dealt with. All this has happened months ago.
Most South African citizens are in agreement; we have zero faith in the South African Police or the justice system. We live in fear and see lawlessness all around us.
God help South Africa, we do not want to be wiped out!

Thank you for publishing my last letter [September 2015 SCN – Ed.]. It was interesting to read the letter from “A.G.” about Mr. Robin Willow in the same issue, and also to learn more details about this man in the next issue [actually the November 2015 SCN – Ed.]. Why was Mr. Willow ever allowed to hold two leading positions in the Swinton Circle simultaneously, Chairman and Treasurer, when he was clearly incapable of performing either of them properly? I’ve done a bit more investigation into him and have discovered that he’s married to a Chinawoman, and have also found a number of other worrying factors about him which I feel it best not to mention. The fact that he has now apparently disappeared without accounting for all the Swinton Circle’s funds is a matter for great concern. Surely this should be a Police matter?

ISLAMO-FASCISM – THE ULTIMATE OF EVILS
Several readers have expressed surprise at the fact that we reported that two of the gate-crashers who invaded the disastrous Swinton Circle meeting of 31st July were not only neo-fascists, but also revealed themselves as being Muslim converts – including the worst disrupter of this meeting. But is it so strange that neo-fascists should also be Mohammedans?
In spite of the popular conception that the German Nazis were total racialists, their racism in reality consisted of little more than a paranoid and irrational hatred of the Jewish people, the Slavs and the Gypsies. They established a powerful battalion of the Waffen-SS among the Muslim population of Bosnia-Herzegovina (as well as one among Hindu Indian nationalists incidentally!) and also enjoyed a close working relationship with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem. Indeed the cry of *Hitler in this world and Allah in the next” was a popular clarion call among Nazi sympathisers in the Middle East.
More recently, however, the overtly neo-fascist “British National Party” – although it claimed to be patriotic – failed to support Britain and the rest of the West against Islamic expansionism in both Gulf Wars and in the War against Terror as a whole. The so-called “BNP” now appears to be defunct however, and we do not doubt that the main cause of their demise was their totally hypocritical stance whereby they claimed to be pro-British yet at the same time opposed their own country in wars against the insidious Islamic threat!
Hillary Benn, whatever his other faults, gave a masterful Parliamentary speech during the debate on Air Strikes in Syria against the ISIS/ISIL terrorists, in which he clearly asserted that these Islamic terrorists were fascists, and the heirs of the evil German Nazis who Britons and other Commonwealth citizens of all political persuasions fought so bravely against during WWII. We may believe that Mr. Benn is terribly wrong on many political issues, but history and indisputable facts confirm that he is totally correct with this comparison.
This brings us back to the subject of the invasion and disruption of the notorious Swinton Circle meeting of 31st July by a group of uninvited trouble-makers. It has now been revealed that these wreckers were more than just neo-fascists as we first believed, but contained at least two individuals who were clearly ISLAMO-FASCISTS! This year’s Rugby World Cup, held in England and Wales, proved a great success. The tournament was organized faultlessly, the crowds were larger than expected and totally joyful, and the standard of play was superb.
Full congratulations must also of course go to Steve Hansen’s and Richie McCaw’s New Zealand “All Blacks” side, who proved worthy winners, and indeed elevated the game of Rugby Union to an even higher plain of excellence. If we have any criticism of New Zealand it is that they continue to perform the Maori Haka before all their games, as if their side was comprised entirely of Maoris and other Polynesians. The New Zealand Maoris have their own side selected entirely upon ethnic lines, so surely the entertaining Haka should be reserved for this side, and this side alone. [In this regard it must also be asked why the Irish side were always proceeded onto the pitch by both the Republic of Ireland’s tricolor and Ulster’s provincial flag (not the national flag of Northern Ireland!). Surely the flag which should have been carried was the Irish flag (the cross of St.Patrick), or if this does not prove acceptable to certain “politically correct” types then by the widely accepted Irish sporting flag – green with the shamrock badge in the middle.]
Finally we turn to the performance of the “new” South Africa team. By reaching the semi-finals – and indeed by giving the mighty “All Blacks” a close run for their money therein – they exceeded not only our own expectations but also those of most other seasoned commentators. As we have often observed in the past, we are constantly amazed at how the “new” South Africa continues to produce such world-class sides when even a journey to a mid-week training session means taking one’s life in one’s hands in such a lawless country. One thing is for certain however, and that is that once civilized rule is restored in that beleaguered land and the “Springboks” can be restored with all their traditions, then New Zealand’s dominance in world rugby will at last face a formidable challenge!

SPRINGBOK CLUB NEWS
As most readers will be aware, the planned guest speaker with strong Rhodesian military connections who was to have addressed this year’s Springbok Club UDI Day celebration buffet had to pull out because of the serious ill-health of a close family member, and so far no replacement high-profile guest speaker has been finalised. The organization is optimistic that it will still be able to obtain a guest speaker with strong connections to UDI before the day itself however, but regardless of whether this can be achieved or not the celebration buffet will definitely proceed regardless, with a number of people with strong Rhodesian connections telling something about their memories and experiences of that great land.
The details of this buffet are as follows :-

Time : Assemble from 13.30 hrs ready for proceedings to commence at 14.00 hrs.
Venue : The ARTILLERY ARMS [the upstairs “Barracks” function room], 102 Bunhill Row, off Old Street, London EC1Y 8ND. (Close to Old Street tube station – exit via subway 3 and then follow directions from the station to Whitecross Street Market. Proceed along Old Street itself and then take the second major turning to the left into Bunhill Row, where The Artillery Arms is a short distance away on the right-hand side).
Admission charges (which will include a sumptuous array of succulent buffet snacks!) will be £10.00 per head for Full Members of the Springbok Club, £12.50 for Associate Members and £15.00 for non-members, which may be paid at the door on the day, ideally by cash. During December the Springbok Club will be holding its annual Day of the Vow commemorative event, which will be held at a central London venue, and will feature a prominent South African as guest speaker. More precise details will be given in next month’s SCN.
The Springbok Club’s 2016 AGM will be held next January. In view of the somewhat difficult year experienced by the Springbok Club this will therefore give all members a good opportunity to make suggestions for future activities to be conducted by the organization, and also to encourage renewed enthusiasm. It is furthermore hoped to welcome a most interesting guest speaker with connections to this year’s Rugby World Cup to address this meeting.

SWINTON CIRCLE NEWS
Alas, as there has still been no word from either the Chairman or the Secretary of the Swinton Circle announcing details of the organisation’s 2015 AGM (which according to its constitution must be held by the end of November} it must therefore be assumed that the organization has now collapsed – at least in its present form.
Even more disturbing, however, has been the news that the Secretary of the Swinton Circle, Mr.Paul Symonds, has recently agreed to a meeting with the young Canadian Committee member who was clearly implicated in the infiltration and wrecking of the disastrous meeting of 31st July, Mr. Paul Griffin (it should be remembered that Mr.Griffin refused to assist in the ejection of the Islamo-fascist disrupter at this meeting, and was subsequently seen merrily chatting away with him – and by resigning from the organization just three days later and before he could be confronted about his actions at this chaotic meeting clearly confirmed that his involvement with the organization was for ulterior reasons). Just what Mr.Symonds’ motivation was in agreeing to this ill-advised rendezvous with Mr.Griffin is uncertain, as his subsequent comments have not sought to justify his actions in any way, and indeed have been somewhat worrying in themselves. Mr.Symonds furthermore claimed that another Committee member, Mr.Roger Alsop, was also at this rendezvous, and although this hasn’t been confirmed Mr.Alsop has now regretfully tendered his own resignation (which he has now been asked to withdraw as he is such a highly respected and valued member – as indeed is Paul Symonds) citing his opinion that “It's all got a bit too nasty and personal for me”. It would appear therefore that Mr.Griffin has either been threatening other members of the Committee, or else has been spreading lies and smears. Meanwhile the Chairman of the organization, Mr.Robin Willow, seems to have disappeared completely from the scene, as he has been uncontactable almost ever since the notorious meeting of 31st July itself. As Mr.Willow is also Treasurer of the Swinton Circle this of course gives further cause for concern.
That was the bad news. Now for the good news! Those remaining loyal to the Swinton Circle have subsequently been approached by the leadership of another prominent patriotic organization with a view to close co-operation – or even a merger. Formal discussions about these proposals will be held early next year, and the results will of course be reported in future editions of the SCN. It would seem therefore that something positive may yet still arise from the wreckage of the disasters of 31st July!

CECIL THE LION
Readers will probably recall that in last month’s SCN we carried a report about the distressing and sickening murder of Cecil the Lion, the much loved resident of Hwange Game Park in what is today Zimbabwe, which we had received from the Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force (ZCTF). We have subsequently received the following press statement issued by the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority from the ZCTF which announces stronger measures which they are adopting in order to prevent any similar acts of cruelty occurring again. We do not doubt that these stronger measures would not have been taken if it wasn’t for the lobbying of Mr. Johnny Rodrigues of the ZCTF and other animal welfare organizations around the world, so therefore congratulate them on their marvellous work in this regard :-
“PRESS STATEMENT BY THE ZIMBABWE PARKS AND WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY ON MEASURES TO IMPROVE THE ADMINISTARTION OF HUNTING IN THE COUNTRY
”Following the illegal killing of an iconic lion, Cecil, outside the HwangeNational Park on Antoinette farm in Gwayi River Conservancy on the 1st of July 2015, it has become necessary that the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority further tightens hunting regulations in all areas outside the Parks Estate.
The Authority working with other law enforcement agencies has launched a crackdown to weed out any undesirable elements. To date our law enforcement agencies are following up on all found or reported cases and they have since arrested another culprit, Headman Sibanda, on allegations of breaching hunting regulations. He is currently assisting Police with investigations.
“Further to that crackdown the following measures are going to be implemented immediately;
“1. Hunting of lions, leopards and elephant in areas outside of HwangeNational Parks has been suspended with immediate effect. All such hunts will only be conducted if confirmed and authorized in writing by the Director-General of the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority, and only if accompanied by parks staff whose costs will be met by the landowner.
”2. Bow hunting has been suspended with immediate effect and no such hunting will be conducted unless it has been confirmed and authorized in writing by the Director-General of the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority.
”3. Members of the hunting fraternity are being reminded that it is illegal for quotas to be transferred from one hunting area to another. Any case of quota transfer is regarded as poaching. The Authority will not hesitate to arrest, prosecute, and ban for life any persons including professional hunters, clients and land owners who are caught on the wrong side of the law.
”All players in the hunting industry are being reminded to familiarize themselves with the relevant statutes governing the wildlife industry. Further, the Authority would like to appeal to all members of the public that they should report any suspected illegal wildlife activities to the nearest offices of Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority, Zimbabwe Republic Police and other Government law enforcement agencies.

CHRIS NORMAN – A TRUE SOUTH AFRICAN HERO
At this present time of intensified horrific Islamic terrorist attacks in France (which will be commented about more fully in next month’s SCN) it should not be forgotten that these and the earlier Charlie Hebdo atrocities were not the only acts of Islamic terrorism which France has endured this year.
On 23rd August 2015 a terrorist outrage was attempted on board the Amsterdam to Paris train, but the Islamic terrorist involved was overpowered by three brave fellow-passengers before he could open fire or detonate his explosives as intended. Newspaper reports at the time stated that the three brave heroes comprised two American servicemen and a British IT consultant by the name of Chris Norman – but Chris Norman was not British by birth, he was South African! He worked in the computer department at Unilever’s South African headquarters in Durban during the late 1970s, where this present writer was also working at the time. Although he was not known well, he did create the impression of being a very decent and hard-working person. He was however a fierce critic of the then National Party government of John Vorster, and seemed to detect that they were intent upon selling-out South Africa long before most other people seemed to realize this, and for this reason decided to relocate to his British ethnic homeland.
It is ironic in the extreme therefore that Chris Norman, having managed to escape the indignity of living under terrorist rule in South Africa, should subsequently find himself faced with a terrorist atrocity in another part of the world. Once again, furthermore, this saga emphasizes the fact that by kow-towing to the terrorist rulers of the “new” South Africa (as alas so many Western leaders have tended to do) this only encourages their fellow-terrorists in other parts of the world. Chris Norman seemed to have realized what was going to happen, and as a result of fate proved himself a true South African hero. We salute his courage.

“Bernie” Touche was of French origins, and was a prominent member of the “Paul Roper set” in Durban (see SCNs passim). The story goes that she once applied for a job with the Rapid Results College in Durban, but when she heard that the position would entail answering the switchboard she quickly decided to turn the job down! Sir,
Clive Rice was denied a Test career by the unjust and self-righteous boycott of South Africa. Nelson Mandela and others were able to continue their political careers after it was over. Surely this proves that the boycott was unfair?
While I was never in favour of forced apartheid, I would point out that a documentary about the late Basil D'Oliveira mentioned in passing that South Africa also had a non-White eleven. Surely this was at least mitigation?

SAYING IT LIKE IT IS

I have often reminded that our real enemies were jihadists. Unfortunately we watch the slow death of Europe - refugees will seize European countries step by step. It is foolish to think they have come for a short time. Negroes and Muslims from Africa and the Middle East have come to Europe FOR EVER. Today Russians are not angry with European policy, our people watch madness of European leaders who are impotent to stop barbarian invasion to the heart of Europe. Putin will not touch Europe, but Negroes and Muslims will rape and rob European ladies, then their kids and then European men in the end. The American government does not intend to save Europeans, and European leaders are blind - they cannot see real enemy who has come to their houses already. They will not see Russian tanks in the streets of Paris and Berlin, they will face Black robbers and gangsters plus ISIL jihadists very soon.
We lose our forces in the Ukraine, both military and financial. This war and sanctions deflect European nations and Russians from our common purpose - the struggle against jihadists. Europe has very little time - if you do not stop the refugee invasion, masses of Negroes and Muslims will crush you. I hope the British will be the first nation that can change situation.

BURMA ROAD
Sir,
As the son of a Burma veteran I feel I should record my thoughts.
I have watched it all live on the BBC, that much maligned broadcaster, not always without due blame. However, their coverage of the 70th Anniversary of VJ Day was outstanding. No imbecilic presenters but the marvellous Kirsty Young and Richard Bacon who acquitted themselves without blemish. Both presented and interviewed with compassion and, may I say it, with pride. Also a special mention for the Bishop Nigel Stock at the service in St Martin's in the Fields who resisted the temptation to abase himself as others have done and told it as it should be told. Runcie's Falklands address was a disgrace and lots of others since only less so.
I shall never, ever forget the recitation in Horse Guards of the great Kipling's "The Road to Mandalay" by Charles Dance. The tears streamed down my cheeks. So much so I have determined to go there in March, God willing.

OBITUARY
JAMES “JIM” SLATER
Jim Slater, who sadly died earlier this month, was one of the most successful and visionary industrialists, financiers and investors of the latter half of the twentieth century. Born into a modest lower-middle-class family, and constantly suffering from poor health, Jim Slater was a self-made man who proved that the capitalist system was potentially to the benefit of everyone.
Having studied accountancy, and working his way up through the motor industry to become Deputy Sales Director of Leyland Motors, Jim Slater came to realise and recognise the many failings in British industry at the time, which had failed to appreciate the rapidly advancing technological revolution. During a period of recuperation from a bout of ill-health he decided to resign from Leyland Motors in order to found his own financing and investment company Slater Walker, in partnership with the future Conservative cabinet minister Peter Walker. The company flourished to an incredible degree, and although decried by both the “old guard” of the City of London and socialists alike for what they termed “asset stripping” (in reality recognising the inefficient and incompatible sides of companies and then selling them off to new more compatible businesses, thus increasing the profitability of both concerns) Slater Walker still became the most dynamic institution quoted on the London Stock Exchange at the time. As a result Jim Slater became something of a hate-figure to both the “old guard” and Harold Wilson’s Labour Party alike, and following the recession of the early 1970s Slater Walker were targeted for a number of dirty tricks. Although found guilty of a technical financial infringement Jim Slater was fined only a nominal £15, and a similar ridiculous attempt to have him deported to Singapore for trial on a trumped-up charge ended in failure. Alas the combined effects of this witch-hunt and the recession forced Slater Walker into liquidation, and as a result Jim Slater found himself a “minus millionaire”. This of course would have been the end of lesser men, but by some highly astute investments and a move into the property market he somehow managed to pay off his debts within twelve months, From then onwards Jim Slater concentrated upon property and investment advice (he had earlier written a highly successful investment advice column for the Sunday Telegraph appropriately under the pseudonym of “Capitalist”) – and incredibly also managed to write a couple of best-selling children’s books at the same time!
Although his business partner Peter Walker was an incurable Euro-enthusiast, Jim Slater himself became increasingly EuroSceptic as he grew older. He was a close personal colleague of Sir James Goldsmith (who founded the Referendum Party) and one of his sons stood as a UKIP candidate. Jim Slater’s greatest achievement was undoubtedly to re-activate the vibrant spirit of British industrialisation and entrepreneurship from the 18th and 19th centuries, and through the loyal and enthusiastic readership of his financial investment publications he has clearly energised a new generation of 21st century British entrepreneurs, who are already making their presence known.
Jim Slater was a great Briton, who alas was unjustly pilloried by little men and by socialists. Our sincerest sympathies are extended to his widow Helen and to his four children

This year’s Rugby World Cup, held in England and Wales, proved a great success. The tournament was organized faultlessly, the crowds were larger than expected and totally joyful, and the standard of play was superb.

During December the Springbok Club will be holding its annual Day of the Vow commemorative event, which will be held at a central London venue, and will feature a prominent South African as guest speaker. More precise details will be given in next month’s SCN.
The Springbok Club’s 2016 AGM will be held next January. In view of the somewhat difficult year experienced by the Springbok Club this will therefore give all members a good opportunity to make suggestions for future activities to be conducted by the organization, and also to encourage renewed enthusiasm. It is furthermore hoped to welcome a most interesting guest speaker with connections to this year’s Rugby World Cup to address this meeting.

SWINTON CIRCLE NEWS
Alas, as there has still been no word from either the Chairman or the Secretary of the Swinton Circle announcing details of the organisation’s 2015 AGM (which according to its constitution must be held by the end of November} it must therefore be assumed that the organization has now collapsed – at least in its present form.
Even more disturbing, however, has been the news that the Secretary of the Swinton Circle, Mr.Paul Symonds, has recently agreed to a meeting with the young Canadian Committee member who was clearly implicated in the infiltration and wrecking of the disastrous meeting of 31st July, Mr. Paul Griffin (it should be remembered that Mr.Griffin refused to assist in the ejection of the Islamo-fascist disrupter at this meeting, and was subsequently seen merrily chatting away with him – and by resigning from the organization just three days later and before he could be confronted about his actions at this chaotic meeting clearly confirmed that his involvement with the organization was for ulterior reasons). Just what Mr.Symonds’ motivation was in agreeing to this ill-advised rendezvous with Mr.Griffin is uncertain, as his subsequent comments have not sought to justify his actions in any way, and indeed have been somewhat worrying in themselves. Mr.Symonds furthermore claimed that another Committee member, Mr.Roger Alsop, was also at this rendezvous, and although this hasn’t been confirmed Mr.Alsop has now regretfully tendered his own resignation (which he has now been asked to withdraw as he is such a highly respected and valued member – as indeed is Paul Symonds) citing his opinion that “It's all got a bit too nasty and personal for me”. It would appear therefore that Mr.Griffin has either been threatening other members of the Committee, or else has been spreading lies and smears. Meanwhile the Chairman of the organization, Mr.Robin Willow, seems to have disappeared completely from the scene, as he has been uncontactable almost ever since the notorious meeting of 31st July itself. As Mr.Willow is also Treasurer of the Swinton Circle this of course gives further cause for concern.
That was the bad news. Now for the good news! Those remaining loyal to the Swinton Circle have subsequently been approached by the leadership of another prominent patriotic organization with a view to close co-operation – or even a merger. Formal discussions about these proposals will be held early next year, and the results will of course be reported in future editions of the SCN. It would seem therefore that something positive may yet still arise from the wreckage of the disasters of 31st July!

CECIL THE LION
Readers will probably recall that in last month’s SCN we carried a report about the distressing and sickening murder of Cecil the Lion, the much loved resident of Hwange Game Park in what is today Zimbabwe, which we had received from the Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force (ZCTF). We have subsequently received the following press statement issued by the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority from the ZCTF which announces stronger measures which they are adopting in order to prevent any similar acts of cruelty occurring again. We do not doubt that these stronger measures would not have been taken if it wasn’t for the lobbying of Mr. Johnny Rodrigues of the ZCTF and other animal welfare organizations around the world, so therefore congratulate them on their marvellous work in this regard :-
“PRESS STATEMENT BY THE ZIMBABWE PARKS AND WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY ON MEASURES TO IMPROVE THE ADMINISTARTION OF HUNTING IN THE COUNTRY
”Following the illegal killing of an iconic lion, Cecil, outside the HwangeNational Park on Antoinette farm in Gwayi River Conservancy on the 1st of July 2015, it has become necessary that the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority further tightens hunting regulations in all areas outside the Parks Estate.
The Authority working with other law enforcement agencies has launched a crackdown to weed out any undesirable elements. To date our law enforcement agencies are following up on all found or reported cases and they have since arrested another culprit, Headman Sibanda, on allegations of breaching hunting regulations. He is currently assisting Police with investigations.
“Further to that crackdown the following measures are going to be implemented immediately;
“1. Hunting of lions, leopards and elephant in areas outside of HwangeNational Parks has been suspended with immediate effect. All such hunts will only be conducted if confirmed and authorized in writing by the Director-General of the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority, and only if accompanied by parks staff whose costs will be met by the landowner.
”2. Bow hunting has been suspended with immediate effect and no such hunting will be conducted unless it has been confirmed and authorized in writing by the Director-General of the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority.
”3. Members of the hunting fraternity are being reminded that it is illegal for quotas to be transferred from one hunting area to another. Any case of quota transfer is regarded as poaching. The Authority will not hesitate to arrest, prosecute, and ban for life any persons including professional hunters, clients and land owners who are caught on the wrong side of the law.
”All players in the hunting industry are being reminded to familiarize themselves with the relevant statutes governing the wildlife industry. Further, the Authority would like to appeal to all members of the public that they should report any suspected illegal wildlife activities to the nearest offices of Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority, Zimbabwe Republic Police and other Government law enforcement agencies.

CHRIS NORMAN – A TRUE SOUTH AFRICAN HERO
At this present time of intensified horrific Islamic terrorist attacks in France (which will be commented about more fully in next month’s SCN) it should not be forgotten that these and the earlier Charlie Hebdo atrocities were not the only acts of Islamic terrorism which France has endured this year.
On 23rd August 2015 a terrorist outrage was attempted on board the Amsterdam to Paris train, but the Islamic terrorist involved was overpowered by three brave fellow-passengers before he could open fire or detonate his explosives as intended. Newspaper reports at the time stated that the three brave heroes comprised two American servicemen and a British IT consultant by the name of Chris Norman – but Chris Norman was not British by birth, he was South African! He worked in the computer department at Unilever’s South African headquarters in Durban during the late 1970s, where this present writer was also working at the time. Although he was not known well, he did create the impression of being a very decent and hard-working person. He was however a fierce critic of the then National Party government of John Vorster, and seemed to detect that they were intent upon selling-out South Africa long before most other people seemed to realize this, and for this reason decided to relocate to his British ethnic homeland.
It is ironic in the extreme therefore that Chris Norman, having managed to escape the indignity of living under terrorist rule in South Africa, should subsequently find himself faced with a terrorist atrocity in another part of the world. Once again, furthermore, this saga emphasizes the fact that by kow-towing to the terrorist rulers of the “new” South Africa (as alas so many Western leaders have tended to do) this only encourages their fellow-terrorists in other parts of the world. Chris Norman seemed to have realized what was going to happen, and as a result of fate proved himself a true South African hero. We salute his courage.

“Bernie” Touche was of French origins, and was a prominent member of the “Paul Roper set” in Durban (see SCNs passim). She alas suffered from a serious lisp which caused her to pronounce “R’s” like “W’s”. The story goes that she once applied for a job with the Rapid Results College in Durban, but when she heard that the position would entail answering the switchboard she quickly decided to turn the job down! It would be interesting to learn where she is now.

TEST CASE
Sir,
Clive Rice was denied a Test career by the unjust and self-righteous boycott of South Africa. Nelson Mandela and others were able to continue their political careers after it was over. Surely this proves that the boycott was unfair?
While I was never in favour of forced apartheid, I would point out that a documentary about the late Basil D'Oliveira mentioned in passing that South Africa also had a non-White eleven. Surely this was at least mitigation?

SAYING IT LIKE IT IS

I have often reminded that our real enemies were jihadists. Unfortunately we watch the slow death of Europe - refugees will seize European countries step by step. It is foolish to think they have come for a short time. Negroes and Muslims from Africa and the Middle East have come to Europe FOR EVER. Today Russians are not angry with European policy, our people watch madness of European leaders who are impotent to stop barbarian invasion to the heart of Europe. Putin will not touch Europe, but Negroes and Muslims will rape and rob European ladies, then their kids and then European men in the end. The American government does not intend to save Europeans, and European leaders are blind - they cannot see real enemy who has come to their houses already. They will not see Russian tanks in the streets of Paris and Berlin, they will face Black robbers and gangsters plus ISIL jihadists very soon.
We lose our forces in the Ukraine, both military and financial. This war and sanctions deflect European nations and Russians from our common purpose - the struggle against jihadists. Europe has very little time - if you do not stop the refugee invasion, masses of Negroes and Muslims will crush you. I hope the British will be the first nation that can change situation.

BURMA ROAD
Sir,
As the son of a Burma veteran I feel I should record my thoughts.
I have watched it all live on the BBC, that much maligned broadcaster, not always without due blame. However, their coverage of the 70th Anniversary of VJ Day was outstanding. No imbecilic presenters but the marvellous Kirsty Young and Richard Bacon who acquitted themselves without blemish. Both presented and interviewed with compassion and, may I say it, with pride. Also a special mention for the Bishop Nigel Stock at the service in St Martin's in the Fields who resisted the temptation to abase himself as others have done and told it as it should be told. Runcie's Falklands address was a disgrace and lots of others since only less so.
I shall never, ever forget the recitation in Horse Guards of the great Kipling's "The Road to Mandalay" by Charles Dance. The tears streamed down my cheeks. So much so I have determined to go there in March, God willing.

OBITUARY
JAMES “JIM” SLATER
Jim Slater, who sadly died earlier this month, was one of the most successful and visionary industrialists, financiers and investors of the latter half of the twentieth century. Born into a modest lower-middle-class family, and constantly suffering from poor health, Jim Slater was a self-made man who proved that the capitalist system was potentially to the benefit of everyone.
Having studied accountancy, and working his way up through the motor industry to become Deputy Sales Director of Leyland Motors, Jim Slater came to realise and recognise the many failings in British industry at the time, which had failed to appreciate the rapidly advancing technological revolution. During a period of recuperation from a bout of ill-health he decided to resign from Leyland Motors in order to found his own financing and investment company Slater Walker, in partnership with the future Conservative cabinet minister Peter Walker. The company flourished to an incredible degree, and although decried by both the “old guard” of the City of London and socialists alike for what they termed “asset stripping” (in reality recognising the inefficient and incompatible sides of companies and then selling them off to new more compatible businesses, thus increasing the profitability of both concerns) Slater Walker still became the most dynamic institution quoted on the London Stock Exchange at the time. As a result Jim Slater became something of a hate-figure to both the “old guard” and Harold Wilson’s Labour Party alike, and following the recession of the early 1970s Slater Walker were targeted for a number of dirty tricks. Although found guilty of a technical financial infringement Jim Slater was fined only a nominal £15, and a similar ridiculous attempt to have him deported to Singapore for trial on a trumped-up charge ended in failure. Alas the combined effects of this witch-hunt and the recession forced Slater Walker into liquidation, and as a result Jim Slater found himself a “minus millionaire”. This of course would have been the end of lesser men, but by some highly astute investments and a move into the property market he somehow managed to pay off his debts within twelve months, From then onwards Jim Slater concentrated upon property and investment advice (he had earlier written a highly successful investment advice column for the Sunday Telegraph appropriately under the pseudonym of “Capitalist”) – and incredibly also managed to write a couple of best-selling children’s books at the same time!
Although his business partner Peter Walker was an incurable Euro-enthusiast, Jim Slater himself became increasingly EuroSceptic as he grew older. He was a close personal colleague of Sir James Goldsmith (who founded the Referendum Party) and one of his sons stood as a UKIP candidate. Jim Slater’s greatest achievement was undoubtedly to re-activate the vibrant spirit of British industrialisation and entrepreneurship from the 18th and 19th centuries, and through the loyal and enthusiastic readership of his financial investment publications he has clearly energised a new generation of 21st century British entrepreneurs, who are already making their presence known.
Jim Slater was a great Briton, who alas was unjustly pilloried by little men and by socialists. Our sincerest sympathies are extended to his widow Helen and to his four children

As we have commented previously, it is not so much the current swarm of mainly Muslim migrants invading Europe themselves who anger us the most regarding this most worrying situation, but rather the self-hating Europeans who seem to be welcoming these interlopers into their own homelands with their sickening “Welcome Refugees” campaigns.
In this regard, seemingly inevitably in these “politically correct” days, it is the leaders of the Christian churches (of most, if not all denominations), who are the greatest to blame. The Pope of Rome has “boasted” about opening up accommodation in the Vatican complex itself for these mainly Islamic migrants, Angela Merkel has cited her own Lutheran upbringing as the main reason for her misplaced compassion, and it is the clergy at the Malvern Anglican Parish Church who are whipping up the campaign to pressurize the Council of this most unlikely provincial town to house far more of their fair portion of these aliens. The ironic thing about the attitude of so many Christian leaders in this regard, of course, is that these mainly Muslim invaders seek to supplant the very Christian nature of European society which they claim to stand for. The Mohammedan religion has such a fierce hold over its adherents that there is absolutely no chance of any of them converting to Christianity, whereas it has always been the duty of Muslims to conquer the World for Islam by any method possible. It is just as if the entire Christian church now has a death-wish.
This present writer recently visited Leicester Cathedral, which in spite of its supposed spiritual nature had a number of overtly political propaganda posters adorning its walls and fences advocating support for a “Refugees Welcome” campaign. Leicester Cathedral, however, was much in the news earlier this year when, after an intense lobbying campaign, it became the last resting place for the bones of King Richard III. As all students of medieval history know Richard III illegally usurped the throne from his nephew King Edward V, and then had both him and his brother murdered in the Tower of London. In order to justify their glorification of this most unworthy of all monarchs the Dean and Chapter of Leicester Cathedral now loudly proclaim that the charges against Richard III were “unproven”, without any evidence being offered to justify this preposterous claim. So according to them six centuries of historians have been wrong! Who else had the motive to murder the Princes in the Tower we therefore ask – and who else had the means? To return to the present day, is it any wonder therefore that a church which honours a child-murderer of the past should now seek to act as an apologist for the attempted murder of an entire people and culture?
As historians of the period will again know, Richard III was deposed barely two years after he had usurped the throne from his nephew. When Henry Tudor – who was to become King Henry VII, and who had an equally strong, if not stronger, claim to the crown than Richard III – landed in Wales he only brought a small group of fellow-exiles from France with him, but so strong was the unpopularity of Richard III that he quickly managed to pick up supporters to swell his army along the way, so that his eventual victory at Bosworth became a virtual certainty. Once crowned Henry VII proved a great monarch. He married Elizabeth of York, the younger sister of the murdered Edward V, and thus united the Lancastrian and Yorkist factions. Within a few years all opposition had ceased, the civil war was over and the country grew in prosperity. Henry VII’s popularity was confirmed by the fact that although he had to raise taxes substantially following the excesses of Yorkist rule his popular support barely waivered. By commissioning John Cabot to sail across the Atlantic the first English settlements were established in Newfoundland – thus heralding the start of the British Empire. With his Welsh ancestry he also placed in motion plans to unite Wales and England, which came to fruition under his son Henry VIII with the Act of Union of 1536 – thus forming the initial United Kingdom. Both his son Henry VIII and his granddaughter Elizabeth I proved magnificent monarchs and the power and prestige of England – soon to become an integral part of a united Great Britain - increased exponentially. As Britain – indeed the whole of Europe – confronts a crisis even more threatening than that which England faced under Richard III what is needed now is for another Henry VII to arise. We are confident that sooner or later such a hero will emerge, to save not only Britain but all the nations of Europe from the Islamic hordes.

SPRINGBOK CLUB NEWS
The Springbok Club staged a most enjoyable and educative trip to the Victoria & Albert Museum in London last month. The main purpose of this trip was to hear a lecture being given about Capt. Linnaeus Tripe, a renowned photographer of India and Burma during the 1850s. As well as being an acclaimed early photographer, the Plymouth-born army officer Linnaeus Tripe also proved to be a true son of the British Empire, and his photographs of India and Burma magnificently captured the spirit of the Raj. Like so many great Imperial pioneers and entrepreneurs of the era, Linnaeus Tripe’s name is now unfortunately largely forgotten, but this lecture and the accompanying exhibition of his superlative photographs vividly brought his achievements back to public attention. After listening to the lecture and viewing the exhibition the Springbok Club party adjourned to the museum cafeteria for light refreshments and convivial conversations.

The Springbok Club is planning to visit a restored Georgian seaman’s house in the east end of London shortly, probably before the end of October. All Springbok Club members and London-based supporters will be informed about the precise details of this event as soon as arrangements have been finalized.

The Springbok Club’s 2015 UDI Day buffet has now been set for the afternoon of Saturday 28th November at a venue in central London, and the guest of honour will be a highly-decorated former member of the Rhodesian Army. More precise details about this important event will of course be included in next month’s SCN, but we ask all Springbok Club members and supporters to diarise the date now.

Unfortunately the planned braai to be held by the Kent Branch of the Springbok Club has had to be postponed yet again, but it is hoped that this will now be held in the Spring of 2016. SWINTON CIRCLE NEWS
Unfortunately we have still heard no word from either the Chairman or the Secretary of the Swinton Circle regarding details of the organisation’s 2015 AGM (which according to its constitution must be held in either October or November). Needless to say, details about this will be announced in next month’s SCN, provided that arrangements have been notified to us by then.

Since last month’s SCN was written a number of further most interesting and revealing facts have come to light concerning the nature of the uninvited attendees who gate-crashed and disrupted the Swinton Circle’s problematic meeting of 31st July. These revelations include the facts that :-
1) The uninvited individual who identified himself as being a member of the splittist “English Democrats” organization, a certain Steve Uncles, who initiated disruptions by shouting out insulting comments about the Union Flag (which of course always adorns on the top table at Swinton Circle meetings) is evidently not too popular within the “English Democrats” outfit itself, following revelations about a rather novel method that he used to place alleged candidates for this tinpot party on the ballot paper for county council elections : http://www.kentonline.co.uk/maidstone/news/police-probe-english-democrats--a53478/
2) The individual who it was discovered circulated all the unauthorized “invitations” to a string of odious extremist organizations, a certain Jack Buckby, is now regarded as a bit of a rogue element within the LibertyGB organization (whose leader, Paul Weston, the Swinton Circle extended a warm invitation to to address their meeting of 31st July, which alas turned out to be such a disaster) and furthermore has had a very controversial political background himself, as is confirmed by the very unsavoury characters who he is pictured with in the exposé of him which can be found at : http://www.vice.com/en_uk/read/jack-buckby-is-proud-to-be-britains-next-nick-griffin
3) The most obnoxious and unwelcome of the gate-crashers, a certain Jeremy “Jez” Bedford-Turner, a rabid anti-Semite and notorious holocaust-denier, was heard whispering that he had only attended “to see the fight” – thus confirming that the disruption of the meeting was both pre-planned and premeditated.
4) Two of the uninvited gate-crashers – including the main trouble-maker who shouted out pro-Nazi slogans – let it be known that they were Muslim converts.
5) Traces of cocaine were found in the upstairs toilet adjacent to the room where the chaotic meeting was held.
The last three of these allegations cannot be verified of course, but by the nature of the disruption which occurred and those who initiated the wrecking campaign almost anything seems possible, and we do not disbelieve the Swinton Circle member and the Swinton Circle supporter who reported these facts. If LibertyGB are serious about their desire to co-operate with the Swinton Circle, as clearly seemed to be the case before 31st July, then we would suggest that they completely distance themselves from their erstwhile trouble-making representative Jack Buckby and from the objectionable “English Democtrats” and the so-called “London Forum” outfit of Jeremy “Jez” Bedford-Turner – and also issue a sincere apology for the severe problems which they (maybe inadvertently) caused on 31st July.

CECIL THE LION
Most readers will undoubtedly recall the distressing and sickening case of Cecil the Lion, a much loved resident of Hwange Game Park in what is today Zimbabwe, who was intentionally murdered by a scumbag American dentist. We have recently received some more detailed information about this heart-breaking incident from the Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force, which we re-print below :-
“We have just discovered the identity of the killer of Cecil the lion. His details are as follows:
“WALTER JAMES PALMER
Passport no: 445469954
Address: 11413 Larding Road,

“This would suggest that he is American and not Spanish as we previously stated.
“On or about the 6th July 2015, Walter James Palmer was taken to Hwange National Park by professional hunter Theo Bronkhorst. They went hunting at night with a spotlight and they spotted Cecil. They tied a dead animal to their vehicle to lure Cecil out of the park and they scented an area about half a kilometre from the park. Mr Palmer shot Cecil with a bow and arrow but this shot didn't kill him. They tracked him down and found him 40 hours later when they shot him with a gun. They found that he was fitted with a GPS collar because he was being studied by the Hwange Lion Research, funded by Oxford University so they tried to destroy the collar but failed because it was found.
“Cecil was skinned and beheaded. We don't know the whereabouts of the head. Walter Palmer apparently paid US$50,000 for the kill and we assume Theo Bronkhorst received this money. Cecil, who was known all over the world would have earned millions of dollars just from sightseeing. There was apparently no quota or licence for a lion to be killed in this area.
“The saddest part of all is that now that Cecil is dead, the next lion in the hierarchy, Jericho will most likely kill all Cecil's cubs so that he can insert his own bloodline into the females. This is standard procedure for lions.”

KNIGHTHOOD FOR WILLIE JOHN McBRIDE CAMPAIGN
As we mentioned in the July 2015 edition of the SCN, the Springbok Club has initiated a campaign advocating that a knighthood should be granted to Willie John McBride, the Ballymena, Ulster, Ireland and British Lions lock forward who captained the 1974 British Lions tour of South Africa – “The Invincibles”. A special FaceBook group has now been created to further this campaign, and it is hoped that all readers will be prepared to add their support to this group – and to encourage as many of their friends and contacts as possible to do likewise. HNP MEDIA RELEASE
We have recently been pleasantly surprised to receive a media release from the HNP. The HNP, of course, was the lone standard-bearer on the South African political stage throughout the 1970s and early 1980s opposing the National Party’s sell-out policies, and specifically in fully supporting Rhodesia. The HNP may have had its faults, but their determined and forthright stance during this period must always be admired and never forgotten. We had of course previously believed that with the advent of the “new” South Africa the party had become defunct – so this news that they were still in existence therefore came as a most encouraging surprise to us. The sentiments which they expressed in this media release furthermore seem to be spot-on. The translated version reads as follows :-

LONDON MAYORAL ELECTION
It was with great pleasure that we heard the news that Zac Goldsmith had been selected as the official Conservative Party candidate for next year’s London Mayoral Election. Zac Goldsmith is of course the son of the late and great EuroSceptic activist Sir James Goldsmith who founded the Referendum Party and thus put the case for withdrawal from the EU firmly on the map. He is also a good colleague of that great British patriot Dennis Delderfield, and indeed made a masterful speech at his New Britain Goldsmith Lecture (named after his late father) a couple of years ago. We therefore wish Zac Goldsmith every success in next year’s election, and hope all our readers who live in Greater London will be prepared to give him their support. We know that some of his “climate change” views may not meet with everyone’s approval, and we know also that UKIP supporters may not be prepared to vote against their own candidate, but we would remind them that in the London Mayoral election everyone has two votes – a first and a second preference – so we ask them therefore at least to give him one of their votes. The only conceivable alternative, after all, is the Labour Party candidate – and Labour has seen fit to nominate a Pakistani!

VICIOUS ASSAULT ON NICKY LAMPRECHT
We were greatly perturbed and angered to learn the news that our very good friend and colleague Nicky Lamprecht was recently viciously assaulted at his place of work in Natal. Nicky was a hard-working patriotic activist in Durban during the 1980s, being a keen and dedicated member of both the Conservative Party of South Africa and the Patriotic Forum. He has written describing the savage assault which he suffered as follows :-
“Today at around 12 o’clock 3 armed robbers (Blacks) came into my workshop, two waving 9mm firearms and one with a dagger. They demanded my money, then my safe and keys. They took my wallet with all my money I had just collected in it and my driver’s licences in it. I was totally confused I forgot where my keys were so I got hit twice on my head with the butt of a firearm. Ah, I remembered where my keys were in the van that I spent so much money fixing. They opened my empty safe and asked where all the money was to which I told them they had all of it already. Just then my landlord came to say goodbye to me. He was pulled into the workshop and also robbed. Two of them climbed into my van and reversed, the other closed my workshop door at which time I went for my gun. I opened the door and shot 4 shots at the van – not sure if I hit anyone. I ran after them into the road and emptied the firearm. They smashed a truck, climbed out shooting back and ran away. Well I got my van back, am still alive and again am a witness to God’s protection. Now I must say this, I am very impressed with how fast the Police and ambulance reacted, and believe it or not my driving licence has already been found in a squatter camp.”
We of course wish both Nicky and his landlord well in making full recoveries from this frightening experience – but alas it simply exemplifies the true lawless conditions which exist in the “new” South Africa today. We also hope that this will act as a serious wake-up call to Nicky – and to others in a similar situation - to leave the disintegrating “new” South Africa as soon as possible (both his son and his brother have successfully managed to relocate to civilized countries in Europe). They could do far more effective work for the patriotic cause by relocating himself and joining the South African resistance struggle in exile, rather than making themselves the targets for inevitable similar future attacks by Black criminals.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW ?
No.203 – Mr. W.D. “BILL” CHALMERS of Johannesburg.
Bill Chalmers was head of religious broadcasting for the English-language television service of SABC during the 1970s and 1980s, where he compéred their regular Sunday evening religious discussion programme. A man of staunch conservative beliefs, he was not afraid to attack the liberal tendencies which he saw undermining Christian civilization (particularly so-called “liberation theology”), and was often pilloried by the PFP-supporting press for so doing. He was also a subscriber to S.A.Patriot magazine, and we had the pleasure of meeting him briefly in the early 1980s when he spoke at a meeting in Durban, and were highly impressed with the man and his analysis of the problems which were then facing South Africa. It would be very interesting to learn what became of him.

BLACK POWER
Sir,
Eishkom! I really do feel so much for our poor cousins south of the border with these power outages. We were 'down south' recently and it was a literal nightmare. Whenever the power went off, the City of Johannesburg literally came to a standstill!
Possibly one of the worst disturbances is the lack of power at the traffic lights 'aka robots.' Most people are well behaved and go into the 'first come first served' robotic mode but this slows down the traffic incredibly, and it takes absolutely ages to get anywhere. Now we here in Zim do not have that problem because our robots seldom work at any rate, and also our car population is one hundred-thousandth of the size of that of Johannesburg. In addition the shops seem to close down, certainly the shops in the malls do, where there is no God-given lighting. We are almost devoid of malls in Bulawayo, so the shops mostly have natural light. Another drawback is the fact that all the South African transactions are electronic, so if the power goes down there are no hand written invoices like one gets in Zim!
Fortunately our electricity supply commission seldom turns off the 'ZESA' in the CBD. Now Eskom - or 'Eishkom' as it has been nicknamed - has a great app called EskomsePush which pushes out notices to mobile phones, about impending power cuts. Our fellows here in Zimbabwe don't forewarn us - they just 'do it'!! There is a semblance of order, but most of the time our power outages are haphazard, added to which the electricity supply is so antiquated, there are many power outages due to faults.
Now a word of comfort to our Southern cousins - dealing with power outages successfully and graciously does come with time. We are totally over the 'lets play monopoly by candlelight' stage; we are now just totally browbeaten! Those of us lucky enough to afford inverters, resort to games on our mobile phones, and those of us lucky enough to have generators just turn them on and 'deal with it'. I just wish I had a generator manufacturing company in Johannesburg, my goodness I would be wealthy soon.
I have made up my mind that in future I am going to be positive. For example I am going to say 'yay we have ZESA' which is most of the time, rather than 'boo hoo we have no ZESA' - which is only a small part of the time.

END OF THE FORUM
Many readers are perhaps familiar with the “British Democracy Forum” (sometimes referred to simply as the “Democracy Forum”), a massive on-line discussion forum which contained a whole series of sections on all political parties and aspects of current affairs. On the face of it this was an excellent enterprise, as it allowed freedom of speech on all issues to all sections of opinion in a completely neutral environment. Unfortunately, however, it also allowed for smears and hate-messages to be posted against a variety of targets with seemingly very little regulation. Our movement suffered quite significantly in this regard over a number of years, as several lies and slanders were posted smearing us from a small group of malcontents who were collectively known as “the sickly clique”. Although one particularly libellous posting was removed by the administrator after we complained about it, others alas remained in place in spite of our requests that they be taken down. Recently, however, we have learnt that the whole system has now been closed down. In spite of fully supporting the concept of free speech which this forum ideally stood for, we are afraid that we learnt this news with much pleasure – for in reality it had become a smear-mongers’ playground.

October 2015 edition
As we have commented previously, it is not so much the current swarm of mainly Muslim migrants invading Europe themselves who anger us the most regarding this most worrying situation, but rather the self-hating Europeans who seem to be welcoming these interlopers into their own homelands with their sickening “Welcome Refugees” campaigns.
In this regard, seemingly inevitably in these “politically correct” days, it is the leaders of the Christian churches (of most, if not all denominations), who are the greatest to blame. The Pope of Rome has “boasted” about opening up accommodation in the Vatican complex itself for these mainly Islamic migrants, Angela Merkel has cited her own Lutheran upbringing as the main reason for her misplaced compassion, and it is the clergy at the Malvern Anglican Parish Church who are whipping up the campaign to pressurize the Council of this most unlikely provincial town to house far more of their fair portion of these aliens. The ironic thing about the attitude of so many Christian leaders in this regard, of course, is that these mainly Muslim invaders seek to supplant the very Christian nature of European society which they claim to stand for. The Mohammedan religion has such a fierce hold over its adherents that there is absolutely no chance of any of them converting to Christianity, whereas it has always been the duty of Muslims to conquer the World for Islam by any method possible. It is just as if the entire Christian church now has a death-wish.
This present writer recently visited Leicester Cathedral, which in spite of its supposed spiritual nature had a number of overtly political propaganda posters adorning its walls and fences advocating support for a “Refugees Welcome” campaign. Leicester Cathedral, however, was much in the news earlier this year when, after an intense lobbying campaign, it became the last resting place for the bones of King Richard III. As all students of medieval history know Richard III illegally usurped the throne from his nephew King Edward V, and then had both him and his brother murdered in the Tower of London. In order to justify their glorification of this most unworthy of all monarchs the Dean and Chapter of Leicester Cathedral now loudly proclaim that the charges against Richard III were “unproven”, without any evidence being offered to justify this preposterous claim. So according to them six centuries of historians have been wrong! Who else had the motive to murder the Princes in the Tower we therefore ask – and who else had the means? To return to the present day, is it any wonder therefore that a church which honours a child-murderer of the past should now seek to act as an apologist for the attempted murder of an entire people and culture?
As historians of the period will again know, Richard III was deposed barely two years after he had usurped the throne from his nephew. When Henry Tudor – who was to become King Henry VII, and who had an equally strong, if not stronger, claim to the crown than Richard III – landed in Wales he only brought a small group of fellow-exiles from France with him, but so strong was the unpopularity of Richard III that he quickly managed to pick up supporters to swell his army along the way, so that his eventual victory at Bosworth became a virtual certainty. Once crowned Henry VII proved a great monarch. He married Elizabeth of York, the younger sister of the murdered Edward V, and thus united the Lancastrian and Yorkist factions. Within a few years all opposition had ceased, the civil war was over and the country grew in prosperity. Henry VII’s popularity was confirmed by the fact that although he had to raise taxes substantially following the excesses of Yorkist rule his popular support barely waivered. By commissioning John Cabot to sail across the Atlantic the first English settlements were established in Newfoundland – thus heralding the start of the British Empire. With his Welsh ancestry he also placed in motion plans to unite Wales and England, which came to fruition under his son Henry VIII with the Act of Union of 1536 – thus forming the initial United Kingdom. Both his son Henry VIII and his granddaughter Elizabeth I proved magnificent monarchs and the power and prestige of England – soon to become an integral part of a united Great Britain - increased exponentially. As Britain – indeed the whole of Europe – confronts a crisis even more threatening than that which England faced under Richard III what is needed now is for another Henry VII to arise. We are confident that sooner or later such a hero will emerge, to save not only Britain but all the nations of Europe from the Islamic hordes.

SPRINGBOK CLUB NEWS
The Springbok Club staged a most enjoyable and educative trip to the Victoria & Albert Museum in London last month. The main purpose of this trip was to hear a lecture being given about Capt. Linnaeus Tripe, a renowned photographer of India and Burma during the 1850s. As well as being an acclaimed early photographer, the Plymouth-born army officer Linnaeus Tripe also proved to be a true son of the British Empire, and his photographs of India and Burma magnificently captured the spirit of the Raj. Like so many great Imperial pioneers and entrepreneurs of the era, Linnaeus Tripe’s name is now unfortunately largely forgotten, but this lecture and the accompanying exhibition of his superlative photographs vividly brought his achievements back to public attention. After listening to the lecture and viewing the exhibition the Springbok Club party adjourned to the museum cafeteria for light refreshments and convivial conversations.

The Springbok Club is planning to visit a restored Georgian seaman’s house in the east end of London shortly, probably before the end of October. All Springbok Club members and London-based supporters will be informed about the precise details of this event as soon as arrangements have been finalized.

The Springbok Club’s 2015 UDI Day buffet has now been set for the afternoon of Saturday 28th November at a venue in central London, and the guest of honour will be a highly-decorated former member of the Rhodesian Army. More precise details about this important event will of course be included in next month’s SCN, but we ask all Springbok Club members and supporters to diarise the date now.

Unfortunately the planned braai to be held by the Kent Branch of the Springbok Club has had to be postponed yet again, but it is hoped that this will now be held in the Spring of 2016. During December the Springbok Club will be holding its annual Day of the Vow commemorative event, which will hopefully be held at a prestigious central London venue and will feature a prominent South African as guest speaker. The Springbok Club’s 2016 AGM will be held next January.

SWINTON CIRCLE NEWS
Unfortunately we have still heard no word from either the Chairman or the Secretary of the Swinton Circle regarding details of the organisation’s 2015 AGM (which according to its constitution must be held in either October or November). Needless to say, details about this will be announced in next month’s SCN, provided that arrangements have been notified to us by then.

Since last month’s SCN was written a number of further most interesting and revealing facts have come to light concerning the nature of the uninvited attendees who gate-crashed and disrupted the Swinton Circle’s problematic meeting of 31st July. These revelations include the facts that :-
1) The uninvited individual who identified himself as being a member of the splittist “English Democrats” organization, a certain Steve Uncles, who initiated disruptions by shouting out insulting comments about the Union Flag (which of course always adorns on the top table at Swinton Circle meetings) is evidently not too popular within the “English Democrats” outfit itself, following revelations about a rather novel method that he used to place alleged candidates for this tinpot party on the ballot paper for county council elections : http://www.kentonline.co.uk/maidstone/news/police-probe-english-democrats--a53478/
2) The individual who it was discovered circulated all the unauthorized “invitations” to a string of odious extremist organizations, a certain Jack Buckby, is now regarded as a bit of a rogue element within the LibertyGB organization (whose leader, Paul Weston, the Swinton Circle extended a warm invitation to to address their meeting of 31st July, which alas turned out to be such a disaster) and furthermore has had a very controversial political background himself, as is confirmed by the very unsavoury characters who he is pictured with in the exposé of him which can be found at : http://www.vice.com/en_uk/read/jack-buckby-is-proud-to-be-britains-next-nick-griffin
3) The most obnoxious and unwelcome of the gate-crashers, a certain Jeremy “Jez” Bedford-Turner, a rabid anti-Semite and notorious holocaust-denier, was heard whispering that he had only attended “to see the fight” – thus confirming that the disruption of the meeting was both pre-planned and premeditated.
4) Two of the uninvited gate-crashers – including the main trouble-maker who shouted out pro-Nazi slogans – let it be known that they were Muslim converts.
5) Traces of cocaine were found in the upstairs toilet adjacent to the room where the chaotic meeting was held.
The last three of these allegations cannot be verified of course, but by the nature of the disruption which occurred and those who initiated the wrecking campaign almost anything seems possible, and we do not disbelieve the Swinton Circle member and the Swinton Circle supporter who reported these facts. If LibertyGB are serious about their desire to co-operate with the Swinton Circle, as clearly seemed to be the case before 31st July, then we would suggest that they completely distance themselves from their erstwhile trouble-making representative Jack Buckby and from the objectionable “English Democtrats” and the so-called “London Forum” outfit of Jeremy “Jez” Bedford-Turner – and also issue a sincere apology for the severe problems which they (maybe inadvertently) caused on 31st July.

CECIL THE LION
Most readers will undoubtedly recall the distressing and sickening case of Cecil the Lion, a much loved resident of Hwange Game Park in what is today Zimbabwe, who was intentionally murdered by a scumbag American dentist. We have recently received some more detailed information about this heart-breaking incident from the Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force, which we re-print below :-
“We have just discovered the identity of the killer of Cecil the lion. His details are as follows:
“WALTER JAMES PALMER
Passport no: 445469954
Address: 11413 Larding Road,
Eden Prairie

“This would suggest that he is American and not Spanish as we previously stated.
“On or about the 6th July 2015, Walter James Palmer was taken to Hwange National Park by professional hunter Theo Bronkhorst. They went hunting at night with a spotlight and they spotted Cecil. They tied a dead animal to their vehicle to lure Cecil out of the park and they scented an area about half a kilometre from the park. Mr Palmer shot Cecil with a bow and arrow but this shot didn't kill him. They tracked him down and found him 40 hours later when they shot him with a gun. They found that he was fitted with a GPS collar because he was being studied by the Hwange Lion Research, funded by Oxford University so they tried to destroy the collar but failed because it was found.
“Cecil was skinned and beheaded. We don't know the whereabouts of the head. Walter Palmer apparently paid US$50,000 for the kill and we assume Theo Bronkhorst received this money. Cecil, who was known all over the world would have earned millions of dollars just from sightseeing. There was apparently no quota or licence for a lion to be killed in this area.
“The saddest part of all is that now that Cecil is dead, the next lion in the hierarchy, Jericho will most likely kill all Cecil's cubs so that he can insert his own bloodline into the females. This is standard procedure for lions.”

KNIGHTHOOD FOR WILLIE JOHN McBRIDE CAMPAIGN
As we mentioned in the July 2015 edition of the SCN, the Springbok Club has initiated a campaign advocating that a knighthood should be granted to Willie John McBride, the Ballymena, Ulster, Ireland and British Lions lock forward who captained the 1974 British Lions tour of South Africa – “The Invincibles”. A special FaceBook group has now been created to further this campaign, and it is hoped that all readers will be prepared to add their support to this group – and to encourage as many of their friends and contacts as possible to do likewise. HNP MEDIA RELEASE
We have recently been pleasantly surprised to receive a media release from the HNP. The HNP, of course, was the lone standard-bearer on the South African political stage throughout the 1970s and early 1980s opposing the National Party’s sell-out policies, and specifically in fully supporting Rhodesia. The HNP may have had its faults, but their determined and forthright stance during this period must always be admired and never forgotten. We had of course previously believed that with the advent of the “new” South Africa the party had become defunct – so this news that they were still in existence therefore came as a most encouraging surprise to us. The sentiments which they expressed in this media release furthermore seem to be spot-on. The translated version reads as follows :-

LONDON MAYORAL ELECTION
It was with great pleasure that we heard the news that Zac Goldsmith had been selected as the official Conservative Party candidate for next year’s London Mayoral Election. Zac Goldsmith is of course the son of the late and great EuroSceptic activist Sir James Goldsmith who founded the Referendum Party and thus put the case for withdrawal from the EU firmly on the map. He is also a good colleague of that great British patriot Dennis Delderfield, and indeed made a masterful speech at his New Britain Goldsmith Lecture (named after his late father) a couple of years ago. We therefore wish Zac Goldsmith every success in next year’s election, and hope all our readers who live in Greater London will be prepared to give him their support. We know that some of his “climate change” views may not meet with everyone’s approval, and we know also that UKIP supporters may not be prepared to vote against their own candidate, but we would remind them that in the London Mayoral election everyone has two votes – a first and a second preference – so we ask them therefore at least to give him one of their votes. The only conceivable alternative, after all, is the Labour Party candidate – and Labour has seen fit to nominate a Pakistani!

VICIOUS ASSAULT ON NICKY LAMPRECHT
We were greatly perturbed and angered to learn the news that our very good friend and colleague Nicky Lamprecht was recently viciously assaulted at his place of work in Natal. Nicky was a hard-working patriotic activist in Durban during the 1980s, being a keen and dedicated member of both the Conservative Party of South Africa and the Patriotic Forum. He has written describing the savage assault which he suffered as follows :-
“Today at around 12 o’clock 3 armed robbers (Blacks) came into my workshop, two waving 9mm firearms and one with a dagger. They demanded my money, then my safe and keys. They took my wallet with all my money I had just collected in it and my driver’s licences in it. I was totally confused I forgot where my keys were so I got hit twice on my head with the butt of a firearm. Ah, I remembered where my keys were in the van that I spent so much money fixing. They opened my empty safe and asked where all the money was to which I told them they had all of it already. Just then my landlord came to say goodbye to me. He was pulled into the workshop and also robbed. Two of them climbed into my van and reversed, the other closed my workshop door at which time I went for my gun. I opened the door and shot 4 shots at the van – not sure if I hit anyone. I ran after them into the road and emptied the firearm. They smashed a truck, climbed out shooting back and ran away. Well I got my van back, am still alive and again am a witness to God’s protection. Now I must say this, I am very impressed with how fast the Police and ambulance reacted, and believe it or not my driving licence has already been found in a squatter camp.”
We of course wish both Nicky and his landlord well in making full recoveries from this frightening experience – but alas it simply exemplifies the true lawless conditions which exist in the “new” South Africa today. We also hope that this will act as a serious wake-up call to Nicky – and to others in a similar situation - to leave the disintegrating “new” South Africa as soon as possible (both his son and his brother have successfully managed to relocate to civilized countries in Europe). They could do far more effective work for the patriotic cause by relocating himself and joining the South African resistance struggle in exile, rather than making themselves the targets for inevitable similar future attacks by Black criminals.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW ?
No.203 – Mr. W.D. “BILL” CHALMERS of Johannesburg.
Bill Chalmers was head of religious broadcasting for the English-language television service of SABC during the 1970s and 1980s, where he compéred their regular Sunday evening religious discussion programme. A man of staunch conservative beliefs, he was not afraid to attack the liberal tendencies which he saw undermining Christian civilization (particularly so-called “liberation theology”), and was often pilloried by the PFP-supporting press for so doing. He was also a subscriber to S.A.Patriot magazine, and we had the pleasure of meeting him briefly in the early 1980s when he spoke at a meeting in Durban, and were highly impressed with the man and his analysis of the problems which were then facing South Africa. It would be very interesting to learn what became of him.

LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
BLACK POWER
Sir,
Eishkom! I really do feel so much for our poor cousins south of the border with these power outages. We were 'down south' recently and it was a literal nightmare. Whenever the power went off, the City of Johannesburg literally came to a standstill!
Possibly one of the worst disturbances is the lack of power at the traffic lights 'aka robots.' Most people are well behaved and go into the 'first come first served' robotic mode but this slows down the traffic incredibly, and it takes absolutely ages to get anywhere. Now we here in Zim do not have that problem because our robots seldom work at any rate, and also our car population is one hundred-thousandth of the size of that of Johannesburg. In addition the shops seem to close down, certainly the shops in the malls do, where there is no God-given lighting. We are almost devoid of malls in Bulawayo, so the shops mostly have natural light. Another drawback is the fact that all the South African transactions are electronic, so if the power goes down there are no hand written invoices like one gets in Zim!
Fortunately our electricity supply commission seldom turns off the 'ZESA' in the CBD. Now Eskom - or 'Eishkom' as it has been nicknamed - has a great app called EskomsePush which pushes out notices to mobile phones, about impending power cuts. Our fellows here in Zimbabwe don't forewarn us - they just 'do it'!! There is a semblance of order, but most of the time our power outages are haphazard, added to which the electricity supply is so antiquated, there are many power outages due to faults.
Now a word of comfort to our Southern cousins - dealing with power outages successfully and graciously does come with time. We are totally over the 'lets play monopoly by candlelight' stage; we are now just totally browbeaten! Those of us lucky enough to afford inverters, resort to games on our mobile phones, and those of us lucky enough to have generators just turn them on and 'deal with it'. I just wish I had a generator manufacturing company in Johannesburg, my goodness I would be wealthy soon.
I have made up my mind that in future I am going to be positive. For example I am going to say 'yay we have ZESA' which is most of the time, rather than 'boo hoo we have no ZESA' - which is only a small part of the time.

END OF THE FORUM
Many readers are perhaps familiar with the “British Democracy Forum” (sometimes referred to simply as the “Democracy Forum”), a massive on-line discussion forum which contained a whole series of sections on all political parties and aspects of current affairs. On the face of it this was an excellent enterprise, as it allowed freedom of speech on all issues to all sections of opinion in a completely neutral environment. Unfortunately, however, it also allowed for smears and hate-messages to be posted against a variety of targets with seemingly very little regulation. Our movement suffered quite significantly in this regard over a number of years, as several lies and slanders were posted smearing us from a small group of malcontents who were collectively known as “the sickly clique”. Although one particularly libellous posting was removed by the administrator after we complained about it, others alas remained in place in spite of our requests that they be taken down. Recently, however, we have learnt that the whole system has now been closed down. In spite of fully supporting the concept of free speech which this forum ideally stood for, we are afraid that we learnt this news with much pleasure – for in reality it had become a smear-mongers’ playground.
